We ordered the chicken chop and steak. The chicken was fine but the steak’s cut was rather weird. Pay at the cashier then wait for your food. It’s quite a nice quaint place with a lot of 蜡笔小新 toys and plushies around, so it was quite funny. Monday afternoon was rather quiet, but I can imagine this place being noisy if it’s full.

Getting there can be confusing if you are unfamiliar with the area but the cafe decor pretty and great for photos. Food was good overall. We ordered the mushroom baked rice which while nice, could have been better with a little more sauce. The desserts were satisfying and we really enjoyed them. However, the staff was not very friendly towards us and had a poor attitude so would have been nice if the service was better.

First time to Jovis. A very cozy and well decorated place for a meal or a cup of coffee. Staff are friendly and food are delicious. Mocha is a little sweeter to my liking, Chicken chop is nicely prepared and curry is yummy. Will definitely be back again to try other dishes!

Great service staff, wonderful menu, chef is also the owner of the restaurant. She took much effort to curate the menu. We tried the waffles, curry chicken , Mac and cheese and chicken chop and churros. All were fantastic! Greatly recommend the curry chicken. Cozy atmosphere with Christian posters deco, Christian worship songs (instrumental) playing from the background.

A cosy n warm restaurant, great to bring friends and children here, it's very children friendly (withtoys for them too). Now I wld like to compliment the kitchen, even though they are shorthanded, orders take a while to come, cutleries selfservice, etc, BUT the quality of food exceeded my expectations. 5 adults with 4 toddlers running around, we don't have time to take nice photos of all the food. The pizzas, pastas, mac & cheese, chicken wings etc are even better than some Italian eateries I've been to. Kudos Jovis 👍👍👍

My third time at Jovis Cafe. Had the best honey-glazed fried chicken with waffle I’ve eaten in Singapore! Fresh, warm and crispy chicken with fluffy waffle, generous portions of salad and fries. I also ordered smoked salmon salad- which was fresh, generous and well dressed! In my previous visits with friends, we really enjoyed the cosy decor. We loved the Canadian Sunset pizza, Seafood pasta and chicken cutlet we shared. Now we’re planning to return for their popular chicken curry. Besides the food, Jovis’ choice of beverages range from aromatic coffee, refreshing floral tea and the popular bubble tea! What a treat with so many choices for adults and children!

It was a comfortable setting when I first stepped in; the ambience of the cafe was great. Service was prompt and the food was fine. The pizza was a notch above compared with the other mains and sides.; they were marginal. Perhaps should have asked for recommendation dishes. Overall a decent place to chill and have a simple meal and let time stop momentarily in this laidback cosy sweet space :)

Surprise find! Cozy place with reasonably priced food! Mac&Cheese and Chicken Chop are very tasty! Chicken curry serving is big, can be shared by 2 pax. Tiger beer at $6 per 330ml mug. Combo fried chicken for sharing, fiery wings and honey mustard! Will definitely b back to try the dessert! If you come at peak hour, gotta wait awhile, so come prepared 🙂

Nice decor, nice food, nice music. The portions are quite big. Price is quite friendly. The food is yummy too. Chicken used in the curry and in the chicken chop meal tastes fresh with no frozen smell. Juicy and tender too.

12 May 2023: Fish and chips - superb. Esp w vinegar! So appetising. Jalapeno wings - soso. Mamas curry chicken - good portion and taste. Choc Pistachio cake - more chocolatey than pistachio but still rrly yummy. New fav spot!! 19 Jun 2023: Update from 5 to 4 stars. Came all the way here again as I was craving the fish and chips w vinegar. When the fish and chips came, it had no vinegar. Asked and waitress said they don't have already but if we want we can have tar tar sauce. .... I wldnt have ordered it if there was no vinegar. Ended up feeling rrly jelat and meh without it. Removing this from dishes recommended. Or rather, ask if they have vinegar before u order. Mac and cheese - superb! Wld defo order again.

The ambience is really nice and cozy, also like how they serve cold water with slight lemon taste. Wanted to order Mummy’s Curry but not available so ordered Chicken Chop instead and it was really good! Better than most places and I suspect the black pepper is freshly made. It’s so good! Also ordered pistachio chocolate cake. I’m very particular with chocolate cakes and I’m happy this one is good and chocolatey! Though can’t taste much from the pistachio part but overall we like it (: No GST and service charge. Strongly recommended! (:

Visited Jovis Cafe since it started business 5 years ago. I’m impressed by the cozy decor and fantastic customer service. So cozy that I always spent hours there chatting and enjoying the food and coffee without knowing the time pass. They have wide selection of food and drinks and we are so spoilt for choice. We had the popular Mummy’s Curry Chicken twice, it’s so delicious to dip the curry with baguette. Love the finger licking good crispy outside, tender inside Chicken cutlet. Love my favourite Tiramisu Latte too. The truffle fries is good too but I would prefer it with skinny fries. Hope there will be a choice of skinny truffle fries in future. The main course portion is quite big. It’ll be good to jio more friends to go so you can order more food to share. The place is far away from where I’m staying, but I will definitely visit Jovis Cafe again when I’m around the vicinity.

Cozy place with friendly staff, excellent food and beverage at fair price points. Help yourself to chilled lemon mint water which the staff diligently tops up. Be prepared to wait 15-20” for food as mentioned in other reviews, but it’s a worthwhile wait and the dishes tend to served one after another. Juicy chickens, satisfying natural cut fries done right, and salad dressing which hit the right notes. I’ll be back for sure. There’s even a kids’ corner, although it’s closed due to safe distancing measures.

Matcha Tart + Key Lime Pie I'm in Heaven! These tarts from are legit yummylicious! The Matcha Tart is rich and not overly sweet and the Key Lime Pie tasted so refreshing as well. It is very addictive and one is not enough! I even thought that wow it would be too much but I was wrong I even get to try their Avocado Shakes which are creamy and just the way I like it too!

Lovely dining experience! The chicken chop and fried chicken were both juicy and very generous -- the two of us struggled to finish them. The coffee was well-made as well and reasonably priced for that quality. I ordered two lattes and each came w a biscoff, which was a pleasant surprise. Kudos to the barista! There was only one waitress but she was attentive and provided good recommendations. When we had trouble finding the mrt she kindly directed us to it even though she was on her dinner break. Overall, the ambience was cozy and had a nice personal touch w the fairy lights, pastel decor and Christian verses around. Would definitely come again to redeem that free drink!

I love how Jovis Cafe is suitable for both studying and dining! Food wise their cheezy fried chicken, honey glazed fried chicken, Bakwa pizza and smoked salmon creamy pasta are my personal favourites! As for drinks, their bubble red milk tea is good, the pearls are chewy and the tea is strong which I really like ... reminds me of the more traditional BBT from Taiwan. I love to study here, especially on weekdays because of their student meal and coffee buffet! Many of their tables have plugs and there's free wifi, can order a slice of cake to go with the coffee, they have quite a wide variety of cakes and desserts as well. Their menu is on their website so its super convenient to Whatsapp them to make reservation and pre-order food in advance, almost no waiting time at all. Best part: No GST and service charge + Free parking HAHAH, might be a bit hard to find but their instagram has detailed directions for those taking bus!

I've said it before, and I am saying it again: who says there are no good eating spots in the West? There are, and Faber Drive is one example. You just have to look for them in Google Maps. My wife found Jovis by chance, but I would attribute it to divine purposes. It is located at the end of a short detour from the busy Boon Lay - commonwealth stretch. Once there, you are greetee6by a whole "family" of unique eateries you won't find in malls. Walk into Jovis, and you will be whisked into a whole new world - one of tranquility and serenity. The decor is tasteful and gave a homely feeling. The food is great. Service is discreet and yet attentive. We spent a few hours there on a balmy Saturday afternoon. Yeah, we came to the right place on the right day. The washroom is another whole new experience (see photos).

Been here couple of times already and its a place to go to if you need a cozy and chill ambience to relax with your friends, their staffs is friendly as always. They are located near the bus stop and it is easy accessible as well. Will be here averagely once a week or so for their afternoon coffee buffet session since I'm working from home and I love coffee so why not? Have tried their food as well, love the mac and cheese and their truffles fries, their fish and chips portion is generous as well. Overall is a nice café to drop by and after a heavy meal its always nice to walk around the estate. would definitely recommend to you guys who like quiet and chill cafe, and if you come in a group they provides board games for you to play as well.

Lovely place for a dinner date or just a casual meal. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and offered a complimentary pizza since my friends and I were celebrating my friend's birthday. My favourite dish is Mummy's Curry Chicken with bread, which was prepared freshed and looked highly delectable. Would definitely come here again just to enjoy the ambience!

I found Jovis cafe by coincidence and have since been visiting Jovis Cafe a few times now. There's something about this hidden gem that makes me always want to go back: the peaceful vibe, the warm service, great food and drinks and just the whole experience. It's a great place to catchup with your friends or a relaxing brunch/ lunch. Food portion is huge and tasty. Fries are so tasty (not the usual frozen fries you see in supermarket). Love the fish and chips and avocado coconut shake. Coffee is strong. Overall, my current fav cafe in town.

All the food quite nice. Recommended for curry chicken and chicken chop. Went there twice on Sunday during lunch and is quite packed. Expect to have long wait though, and need to keep reminding in case the order got mixed up (mine got mixed up once)

Read of this cafe a few times. Tonight came to try. A laid back cosy cafe in a quiet corner of a charming housing estate. The entrance is uniquely enchanting and sweet. Interior setting with Christian plaques and encouraging words. Be careful about order ...because the portion is huge and can shared with a friend or a child. At the end of the dinner, I enjoyed myself and I like the food too.

A family-friendly dinning place with excellent ambience for casual gathering. My daughter had her birthday celebration last Saturday (10 April) and she loved the place too. No service charge or GST, therefore you need to get your water from the counter and place order at the cashier. Food is only prepared upon ordering, so please be patient. They only served food right from the oven! Have ordered a rainbow cake and it was so beautifully layered with vibrant colours! My girls will definitely return for more dates with their BFs. A good and quiet place for simple dinner for couples and family. Chicken wings and curry chicken was my favourite dishes. Their quesadillas portion is big, good to share and it’s really tasty. The cafe serves bubble tea too. A good place to chillax for the millennials.

This could be one of the best kept secrets in Singapore - A lovely quaint cafe that’s a great escape from the ubiquitous weekend crowds. It’s really a hidden gem that takes you away from Singapore even when you’re in Singapore. Feels good, even if that feeling is just a little while. The service was attentive and very friendly.
