Reviews of Keitaku Mazesoba Hillion Mall
Great ramen at good price! Generous portions to start off with.
Soup broth is tasty and doesn't not leave a "salty or thirsty" aftertaste.
All you can eat refills for soup, hard boiled eggs, noodles and green tea. Legit! No questions asked!
Staff are very friendly and don't give you frowns from refills.
Cosy setup. Corner store beside McDonald's.
Restaurant does not have oily smell. You leave the place with a full stomach, and not with food stench on your clothes.
Very cozy atmosphere and good food too!! The lady at the cashier was also super nice! Me and my friends went here after school to have lunch, it was our first time eating here too. The lady was super kind, telling us how to order food and also if there was anything we needed, we could ask her. For mazesoba and ramen, the price is actually quite good. For us students, we even got a discount!! Overall very nice experience eating here and we are definitely coming back !
The staff here are all very attentive and friendly! This stall is on the outside of the mall so sometimes you might not notice it. The food is good and there is free flow eggs. I tried the clam mazesoba this time and it was super good. It was quite spicy but extremely shiok! However, if you can’t handle spice then maybe you should try the standard chashu ramen instead which is also very good! The stall is cozy and reminds me of some stalls in Japan~ Glad there is this stall at hillion!
Second time here! Very good service and food, the service crew ensured that we have enough food and asked if we needed to top up more noodle/ rice. Got the Mazesoba and cold tofu, which I highly recommend! The lunch set js very worth, sorry forgotten how much. Only issue that the place was a bit cram, but the service crew ensured that we have enough space by joining the tables for us (8 pax). Would come here again!
Fantastic food, I got the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. Noodles were perfect, broth was fantastic.
Service was great - service staff here are very nice. They offered to store my bag behind the counter as well to save space at my table. They were also nice enough to give some kids in the restaurant some chocolates.
Atmosphere is great. All in all, would definitely come again! :)
affordable and yummy! got the spicy mazesoba and signature mazesoba, both of which were very tasty and at a reasonable price. the chilli paste was spicy enough too. great service and lots of freebies as well (soup, egg and rice to mix in after). staff were very attentive and friendly. highly recommend
Had lunch recently at this newly opened outlet at Hillion Mall. It’s located just beside McDonald but you have to enter from outside the building as the restaurant is facing the main road.
For our mains we ordered the Signature Minced Pork with dried Truffle Paste Mazesoba and Unagi Teriyaki Mazesoba. We love the chewy texture and taste of the noodles. Each main also comes with free hard boiled egg and soup. The soup is flavourful and tasty too.
For sides, we ordered the Spicy Shoyu Gyoza which is quite nice to pair with the noodles.
The staffs here are warm and friendly. Currently they have an opening promotion till 8 May’23, when you dine in at this Hillion outlet, you’ll get to enjoy the 3rd mains for FREE when you buy 2 mazesoba bowls.
First time eating mazesoba. It was delicious! The soup and egg were free flow. The soup is not typical miso soup but has a peppery taste and tasted like bak kut teh soup which was delicious! You can ask for rice if you still have meat left after eating the noodles. They are having a promo of buy 2 get 1 free! U can combine eating in 2 and takeaway the free one. The servers were polite and the service was fast.
We liked best is their Signature minced pork with dried truffle paste. Next is their Butashoga Tonkatsu Ramen that had a well-balanced pork broth. The gyoza was tender and juicy. Lastly is the Char Siew with spicy sauce that is not as unami as the truffled mazesoba. Quite unusual is their dried soba is the thicker noodle version than usual soba , with springiness of a good ramen. soup ramen was using the thinner version of the noodles.
Overall, it's a delicious dinner but i would not eat as often if they stop their promotion of buy 2 get 1 free.
rlly worth it and yummy!!! am a regular customer and i never get tired of it, i always get the mazesoba as i feel it’s unique and diff from normal soup ramen, green tea and noodles are refillable + free hard boiled eggs + free bowl of rice if you order mazesoba
Hidden gem just outside McD’s at Hillion. We had the mazesoba as well as the tonkotsu ramen. The food tasted great, and despite the cosy size, the place was very kid friendly. There were free hard boiled eggs and soup. What made this place special was the warm, friendly service. It felt like being at a friends house.
Located right beside Mcdonalds Hillion, this unassuming shop was a pleasant surprise. I haven't been to any of the other Keitaku branches and quite frankly, I haven't heard of this chain either -- until I had some spare time today to step foot in, for a late lunch. The interior of the shop is cosy akin to the size of a ramen bar and the hospitable and friendly demeanour of the lady boss makes the little men-ya very welcoming.
I had their signature Minced Chicken Charsiew Mazesoba which featured Minced chicken, spring onions, seaweed slices, bamboo shoot, onsen egg and their rendition of the mazesoba. After some light tosses of the sauces and the soba, the dish was neatly coated in the marinate, chock full of flavors. The spring onions and seaweed slices enhanced the gastronomical experience by adding a refreshing crunch and texture to the dish.
Overall, the food is pretty decent and exceeded my expectations of what a small eatery could provide. Service-wise, the servers were very friendly and attentive. If you like me, have been lurking around the mall but never had the chance to step foot in, I think it is worth a try. I will definitely return again to try their ramen series.
Tasty Soup Ramen worth the price. Inclu GST and Service charge total is $47.16 for 2 pax. Love the free flow soup, chives, rice and hard boiled egg. Boss called us shuai ge 🤣🤣.
Pro tip: eat buffet, 90% full from the rice, soup refill can already. dont make the mistake of over ordering rice like us, end up canot finish. 90% full is just right to get gd experience.
Really pleasant dining experience at this hole in the wall mazesoba joint in Hillion. Delicious dry noodles, especially for fans of chewier, thicker QQ ramen. The onsen egg was done to perfection. Free flow of hard boiled eggs and soup, which has a strong pepper kick like a good bak kut teh. Friendly and attentive service was a bonus and I’ll definitely be back. Quite empty when I went so this is a bit of a hidden gem still!
Friendly staff, awesome food. Affordable price. Staff was wearing gloves demonstrating high levels of hygiene. Food tasted authentic and the set meals they offer are of great value. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommended.
Visited on 19th sep afternoon and loved the service of all the staff!!! They are all so friendly and it really brighten up our Thursday afternoon. Thanks for the wonderful service!!!
Extremely friendly and genuine staff very good service, hard to find in SG these days. Offered a sample of a dish he reccomended for us to try food is good and filling. Come when you’re hungry.
Get the free flow mazesoba with chashu. The noodles are actually cooked and seasoned in their sauce so the top ups are not just plain boiled noodles. They're delicious and the set also comes with free flow tea, soup and hard boiled eggs.
Today I experienced something really rare... nice service at a hole-in-the-wall shopping mall. Its a tiny place. When I sat down, the server patiently stood next to us explaining which ramen was with soup ot without, what flavours, etc.
The ramen was good for it's price point of like less than $15 a bowl. I wanted ramen with soup but my child wanted the meat shredded instead of the charsiu slice, the server said she can make the adjustments because it's just the additional effort of shredding the meat and not much else.
Later on, my spoon tipped out of my bowl and landed on the floor, immediately the server who happened to walk past just put a box of tissue in front of me. He didn't say very much, but that he had bothered to do it was quite thoughtful already.
Staff and service are super nice, free flow eggs and noodles
We had 2 of the 4 signature dry noodles/mazesobas and it tasted as good as it looked! They offer free flow rice to eat with your leftover sauce, extra eggs are also available on the table. Green tea is also free flow if purchased. The staff were very warm and helpful!
Japanese mee pok dry, soso, not impressed, noodle was under cooked. Endomame was of poor quality, dont order.
Staff was very friendly haha. The staff was sharing with me that I can top up alittle rice to mix with my ramen and that the eggs and soup are free flow so I can eat eggs as many as I want haha.
Mazesoba is delicious! Place is alittle small but still fine for conversations! Would recommend the dry ramen and you can add rice when finishing to experience the ramen in a different way!
It's a little cramp in this branch but the service staff here are exceedingly friendly and helpful. The mazesoba came with a bowl of soup that was very tasty, and free flow too! Eggs and rice also free flow, great stuff, highly recommended!
The food is nice been there twice ardy. They offer unlimited eggs, drinks and rice.
Really like this new mazesoba place at Hillion. Nothing beats a comforting bowl of noodles after a long day of work. They give free flow eggs and rice. And not to mention the super friendly staff!
staff there are friendly and helpful. The mazesoba came with a bowl of soup that was very tasty, and free flow too! Eggs also free flow, great stuff, highly recommended! …
Very nice maze soba recently opened at hillion mall. Currently got promotion of buy 2 free 1. Can see myself going back there often and no need go all the way to tg pagar alr when I crave for decent mazesoba
Cons: too warm, small setting and gets a little too close for comfort with other diners.
The crew is very attentive, helpful and even taught us how to eat mazesoba the right way! Food is delicious and we definitely be back! Keep up good work guys!
Had the ramen and the mazesoba. It was really good!
Also, free soup, free rice, free hard boiled eggs. Happy
Tasty and filling
Friendly owner and free flow carbs
