Food is very decent and considered nice. Portions are quite big as well. Reasonably priced. Furthermore, the boss is very generous and kind. Cosy environment.

We ordered a buffet for the kids’ party. The setup was done right away, and the food was very tasty. The oatmeal shrimp was very fragrant, the children loved it.

Good Northeast China cuisine, friendly staffs, easy to order QR which shows live cart when friends added dishes to cart from their phone... tested their bbq sticks, hotpot, normal zichar stuffs, mostly recommended... a small hidden gem in sembawang...

The green pepper grilled fish was decently good, it’s slightly pricer perhaps due to the type of fish provided. 辣鸡子 was quite average as it seems like the fried chicken wasn’t crispy enough while the portion is small as well. 串串 skewers were below average, served on metal sticks which had unpleasant metallic smell, will not recommend to get. The place was quickly filled up on a Friday evening. Though air conditioned, it can be stuffy with low air circulation sitting in the corner.

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The menu offered a wide range of delicious options, and the food was simply amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. It’s my to go place for Chinese food.

Call in to make reservation during weekend and avoid weekend if you don’t like noisy atmosphere. Seating capacity was limited and not advisable for big group. Serve decent and authentic delicious China food. Food portion was big and generous. Be cautious not to over order if there are only 2 or 3 person.

Been a returning customer over the years. Greats election of choices for Chuan Chuan. Have good mixture of spicy and non spicy dishes. Staff are very prompt in serving and always ready to assist. Pretty good experience can also tell by the crowd that comes in to sit.

The food is legit good! Ambience is noisy a little loud. The air conditioning circulation is poor so it can be stuffy. But found some really taste foods to try. Like the amazing sweet potatoes with malted sugar. Delightful treat. They have a v broad selection of grilled foods, everything from chicken, lamb, beef vegetables, innards @$1 per stick!😍 Their spice mix is quite nice, not too spicy but can be sometimes a little on the salty side. Gst is included. No SVC charge 😬

Prompt service on a Saturday night even though full house, though they forgot about some of our orders so do remind them. Average price of veggie and meat dishes ~$7-9. Guo Bao Pork and You Mai Cai are especially tasty, all dishes and skewers were generally flavourful except the grilled Mantou skewers, comparably more bland could use more Cumin flavour. Veg & Pork dumplings very normal.

10-08-2023 Comment: This evening my second son and his family went out for dinner together. At around 7pm, he drove to a Chinese-style gourmet restaurant in Sembawang. The name of the store is: No. 8 Kitchen. (But this is also my first time here). After arriving, he ordered many dishes. In fact, every dish cooked in this Chinese-style gourmet restaurant tonight is delicious. It is delicious in color, fragrance, tender, salty and delicious. It is perfect to eat with soft and glutinous rice. The combination was just right for my taste buds, but only one or two dishes were a little salty. All in all, it was a good meal at night, and everyone ate it together with gusto! However, the food here is good, fresh and delicious; the service staff is serious and amiable; the atmosphere is also good, spacious, bright, clean and tidy, and feels refreshing, natural, comfortable and breathable when you are in it.

The restaurant where I come to eat almost every month has a lot of new dishes. It tastes very good, I will try it again~ It would be better not to hold too close to the food when delivering it. Perhaps it would be more hygienic visually to use trays instead.

I've eaten there many times. The skewers and stir-fried dishes taste good, but the price is a bit expensive. The service is also pretty good.

The taste is average, not unpleasant, but not surprising. I personally find it a bit salty. The air conditioner is not powerful, the fan is not powerful, and the food is very hot. The serving speed is a bit slow, a cold dish was served 20 minutes after placing the order. The service is three-star, lukewarm and lukewarm, and they don't seem to care about returning after eating.
