Reviews of Konjiki Hototogisu
1 Michelin Star? This seems like a very average ramen, in fact below standard for this part of town. Rather light taste, lacking the flavour found in nearby ramen shops. Size was smaller but hey, price was higher! 3 stars for the friendliness of the staff. May still not come again.
Add on $4.90 to your noodles for an extra side dish and tea - value for money.
Lighter broth ramen, or rather the lightest broth ramen we've tried, an interesting change to the heavy broth ramen around.
Was drawn to the place because it is a Michelin one starred place. It was quite empty on a Friday night.
The broth with oyster paste and oil is good. But the rest of the ramen, including the noodles and the cha shu are not impressive. The noodles are soba and it doesn’t have the al dente texture of the typical ramen.
If you wanna go for traditional ramen, this is not the place for you.
The place was opened 2 months ago.
Cosy ramen place, staff was really nice to offer counter table when we arrived to a packed place, subsequently as we were looking at the menu, staff offered to shift us to a now vacant table.
Took the premium char siew ramen, nice meat and good broth, took the fried chicken side and free top-up houji tea
Pretty average ramen with small portions. There are several outlets of this restaurant with different specialty. This outlet's speciality is the oyster-based ramen soup. Pictured is a bowl of it. $14++. Separate platter of pork belly with an egg.. $7.90++
For my own experience, everyone has their own taste . And for me the shoyu ramen is just right , The broth have a sweet after taste, thats where u know it is good . Not over salty not too sweet, just right . Here’s some tips, consume together with their egg, its delicious . Totally coming back again , good job
🍜🍵 Very rich taste soup ramen 😋😋
Not too bad
Pretty good ramen
This is definitely not the typical ramen offerings. Their two signature ramen is definitely worth a try. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
Excellent ramen, super tasty and really quick service
The clear original soup is very delicious
I actually liked it, decent
Nice Ramen
The taste of ramen is very special, it is a light type, very suitable for hot summer, without too much burden. If you like the strong taste of tonkotsu, you will be disappointed
· Just a bit expensive
· Good reviews for pudding
