Reviews of La Braceria Pizza & Grill
Dinner is served 😊
Pictured:
- 1.2kg Prime Tomahawk Wagyu beef (MbS 5, Australia) 👍🏻
- Alla Bismark: White base Mozzarela, cooked ham, egg and creamy truffle aroma 👌🏻
- Fresh Burrata cheese (add Parma ham) 👍🏻
definitely enjoyed our dinner here, staff were attentive and friendly. The seafood platter was fresh, the steak was definitely a 10/10. The fresh crab meat pasta was good too. Will come back again.
The meats were cooked nicely just a tad salty. Mint sauce for the lamb racks were great! And I love my squid ink pasta.
Could have been a 5 star for food except that the desserts (tiramisu & panna cotta) were pretty disappointing.
We came here for an early celebration dinner. We have visited multiple times and quality is always top notch.
The calamari was crisp but not overly done, the platter we shared as starters, the mozzarella ball was so good! Porterhouse steak is enough to feed 6 if not too big an eater. Don’t let the look of dessert fool u. It may be the best limoncello cake outside of Italy! 😍
The service was great and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. It created a real Italian trattoria kinda vibe. However, the food was average. Maybe I should have ordered the pizza... Two pastas we ordered was too oily and heavy. Antipasti was nothing special.
Simply the best “real” Italian food in town. Pizza pasta salads you name it, you get an honest meal worthy of Italian name. Pizza is made from a perfect dough, nicely seasoned and perfect crust. Pastas come aldente and portions are perfectly sized. Perfect place for Sunday family dinners, ask for seating outside.
Lovely ambience, decent food, but the service was mediocre, which largely affected the overall Italian dining experience. It was a busy Saturday night and the service staff seemed unmotivated. We saw some people outside waiting for tables, and the service staff, standing by our table, looked eager for us to go, so we gobbled up our dessert and downed our glasses of wine and left. We would have appreciated being informed if the table was needed, rather than be awkwardly stared at by the staff. Perhaps a more attentive floor manager could have helped organise the busy weekend situations better.
If you're looking to come taste the good food, you can probably try a weekday where you might get more personal interactions with the restaurant staff.
great pasta and pizza! restaurant is tucked away and has a nice quiet atmosphere :) recommend the prosciutto funghi pizza, vongole pasta, squid ink pasta, lobster pasta, garlic prawns, calamari and burrata!! 🥰
good tasting italian food. servers here are professional and patient. contains both an inside and outside seating. pizza, meat and pasta are all good. portions are also enough to feel full. i recommend the calamari, asparagus and pork.
Nice. Italian restaurant with a very rich menu. The location is quite nice. Wine is available and the wine list is just acceptable. Service is good. The place is suitable either for couple than for groups.
A cozy and simple Italian restaurant. You can choose to sit outdoor at garden or indoor with aircon. We ordered a fair bit dishes from chicken to pizza to dessert. They were all very tasty. If you follow my posts, you will know I order Diavola pizza at every Italian restaurant I go. This one is in my Top 5 list in Singapore. The dough and cheese were just right. But I do suggest to eat it at restaurant if you want the best taste of it. The chicken and veal were so soft. And….if their menu say must try, then please do try their must try cheese cake. It is sooooo good. The average cost per person is around $55. We didn’t order alcohol. They do have few car park slots like 2 or 3 in front of their main door. A good dining experience overall. The staff there were friendly and polite too.
Pizza is good ! the crust alone is delicious.
Once seated you’ll be welcome with bread with balsamic vinegar in olive oil. Beef we ordered is delicious, juicy tasty and tender food medium
well to our preference. I enjoyed the food we ordered.
Pizza dough smells really good with varieties of toppings. Most important of all, unlike others' too sweet ones, they serves the best tiramisu, with proper bitterness from espresso and aroma from alcohol and the mascarpon in Singapore, so far.
So glad pets are allowed once again!!!Stopped allowing pets after covid & we stopped going as a result too, until now… that is. Loved this place for its pizza, pasta, antipasti & the steak we had today
We decided to order pizza and called up up for take aways. Ordered the Fruitti di Mare (mixed seafood), Carnivore, Rucola Proscutto di Parm- and Calzone. There is a 15% discount now for takeaways. Pizza is enjoyable.
La Braceria is located along Greendale Ave. It gets busy around 6pm. Besides the local residents, they provides take away service. Restaurant is cozy, staff are helpful and friendly. Price is also reasonable. The pasta and pizza are awesome and they do serve a selection of wine. Do take note that parking lots are very limited after 6.30pm.
Great tasting Burrata, calamari (I like it a lot more tender) and pizza. Tiramisu cream nice and thick. Will return.
A nice place with good ambience and great taste. Do try their 4 cheese pizza, it is is huge and delicious! So is their fried calamari.
The burrata was amazing!!!!! Highly recommend!!!
The lasagna was pretty bland and disappointing. We also order Alla Braceria pizza which was also pretty normal.
However, we saw another table order the lamb rack and it was sizzling on a hot plate and smelt sooooo good. Would love to go back and try their meat cuts and other menu instead.
We were shocked with the free bread. Came cold and with nothing to go with.
Thank goodness the actual food turned out to be much better than this basket of sad bread.
Calamari, pizza, pasta- the usual - well done and well presented. We enjoyed the dessert the most - cheesecake. A must try ... almost ice cream like.
Btw finally we had the usual olive oil and vinegar to go with the cold bread before the rest of the food arrived.
Fantastic little spot! Loved the pasta dishes here and looking forward going back for the pizzas and steak
Truly my favorite restaurant in Singapore. Always a first choice for bringing friends and family. Amazing ambiance, service, and next level food.
Cosy and inviting atmosphere which is perfect for date nights!
Best italian restaurant in Greenwood - beutiful setting and very friendly staff. The food is awesome and the lobster linguine was out of this world (and only $38).
If you like Italian Pastas and Meats, this place will not disappoint. Good service and ambience as well.
Overpriced meats and starters.
Overcooked meats. Conclusion: bad meat cook.
Pizza and pasta were tasty enough. Stick with these.
Lovely food always. My go-to Italian place when others ask me for a recommendation
ooh la la!
this place serves really wicked gnocchi too - only realized didn’t take any pix after devouring it...
my first time here and i enjoyed the ambience and service overall.
Handmade fresh pasta.
I prefer the pizza to Pasta. Probably because the mixture of topping is tastier. Lovely n professionally run
Chill place with good food. We tried the burrata with parma ham (the burrata was fresh and delicious, the parma ham was flavoursome and not too salty), the crabmeat linguine (flavours were subtle and well-balanced), and the rucola, prosciutto di parma pizza (hearty, and tasty, but don't be a slow eater like me if you want to taste every slice at its best). For dessert we had the cheesecake (delicate cheese taste - worth the calories) and the tiramisu (must have - easily one of the better ones in SG). Price was reasonable for the quality. Will be coming back to try the other offerings. :)
Loved this restaurant! The food is amazing - we shared a pizza and got a pasta each, and was really full (the serving is quite generous). The crab meat pasta did get a bit too creamy at the end, try going for a more savory pasta. But generally the ambience was amazing, price was really reasonable for a good, filling, authentic Italian meal. Tucked in a quiet, romantic neighbourhood. Recommended!
It’s a very warm restaurant that knows its purpose. It serves (slightly) pricey Italian but the diverse menu, large portions, friendly staff and quiet ambience makes for a lovely quiet evening dine. Good for families it seems
Thanks La Braceria team for the wonderful awesome Sunday dinner experience. We enjoyed the night. Amazing service team and yummy food. Specially roasted pork. We love it. We felt very welcomed and well taken care our table. Highly recommend. Overall perfect.
We ordered the ravioli, bolognese and fruiti di mare pasta. Taste was alright. Pizza was too thick for an italian woodfired with a slight chewier texture. Caesar salad has sliced carrots and pieces of white egg which I found was a novelty. Nice ambience with a neighbourhood feel. Service was good. Price is descent.
Greenwood seems to have a love affair with Italian restaurants but I would take this over any of them. Great food, good service. One of my top three favorite places in Singapore for pizza. More Neapolitan style. Lasagna tastes like a home cooked version, I love it. We didn't like the vongole but that had more to do with the clams.
Authentic pizza in Greenwood. I've never tried the food; it's not an atmosphere that feels like a restaurant to me, but the pizza is good, and the service is friendly.
The parma ham and burrata cheese, amazing. Nice warm bread with olive oil served throughout. Four cheese pizza is more suited for adults, the base was good. Service started ok for a full house, but as the crowd left, the large team of staff started to switch off as well, and service fell accordingly. They are certainly doing well given the location and better situated competition. Would give 5 stars, if service was more attentive.
For appetisers we had the Scarmoza al Forno and Parmigiana which were the highlight of our very average meal. For mains, we shared the Fettuccine Norcina, Linguine All Aragosta and Prosciutto e Funghi pizza. Pastas were served lukewarm and under-seasoned and pizza crust was chewy. This used to be a family favourite and we remembered the food to be served piping hot and pizza crust much nicer. Unfortunately the food is now disappointing and does not warrant a return.
Pasta was fantastic! Comparable to the authentic taste I had when I was in Italy.
The Pizza dough was slightly over moist and did not hold the melted cheese and tomato well. Overall a pleasant dining experience😃
Just had such a hearty Italian meal. We ordered the classics - four Seasons pizza, bolognese lasagne and a tiramisu! Each of the dish was made to perfection yet simple, and generously sized. It’s my new favourite Italian place in the town! Also, it’s a quite reasonably priced restaurant.
Stellar neighborhood Italian gem - legit preparations, and easily one of the top 3 pizzas in Singapore with a properly textured crust and quality toppings (eg seafood or Bismarck with truffle cream). Fantastic seafood soup and pastas, truffle sausage pasta, and grilled selections.
Underrated. Came here for Valentine's Day dinner and expected it to be expensive and pretentious. Loved the ambience. Love the food. Loved the service. Totally exceeded my expectation. I particularly liked the burrata cheese with parma ham.
The bread could be better.
Authentic and delicious Italian cuisine served. Although service can be iffy at times when it gets busy. Reservations are required recommended. If you don't get a seat here, you can always visit Limoncello, the brother outlet!
Excellent meat dishes and all dishes are beautifully cooked. Staff are pleasant and amiable. A real quality restaurant with a great local neighbourhood following. It's better than a neighbourhood restaurant.
Food was good but service leaves a lot to be desired.
We don’t appreciate the lack of response and attention when requesting for service. Totally disinterested when we complimented on the desert.
And after serving the bill, the attitude went further south. Too bad the great food was marred by poor attitude.
Pizza was the bready kind, but quite tasty! Had the seafood pasta, good amount of crabmeat but a tad salty..Salad with buffalo mozzarella cheese was fantastic.
Loved the ambience here! Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood in the midst of a private estate, far from busy malls and crowds. Had pasta which was simple and good, will come back for their pizzas.
Nice food
Place feels very authentic and the pasta we ordered was amazing. Pizza and bread are roasted via fire instead of oven. Nice indoor ambience.
My husband and I are thrilled to finally find our favorite italian restaurant. Nice ambience in a quiet spot. Really good food and friendly service. Will be back!
The best Italian restaurant in Singapore ... after a 15 years observation comparing many italian restaurants in Singapore! One of the best four-cheese pizza in the world! Even compared with the ones in Italy! The pasta are simply fantastic!
I’m a big fan of Italian cuisine. Having been to many Italian restaurants both in Italy itself and other parts of the world, I humbly rate this restaurant as one of the best if not the best at least in Singapore.
We had lunch today
Food (burrata with Prosciutto ham, Risotto, Spaghetti Vongole, pizzas (margherita and Diavolo) was good
Waiter was friendly and attentive
Good service with complimentary valet parking
Foods are below expectation, Grill chicken was very dry, beef stew pasta taste normal
Good food not to crowded and reasonable prices
Idk why this is so unpopular as compared to the ones on the other side??? This reataurant is so good!
The food is good, and the service is great! I rly liked the parma ham and burrata plate!!
Excellent pizzas! One of the nicest pizzas i’ve tried in Singapore. Try the alla Bismark Pizza, the truffle oil smelled amazing. Very flavourful
Great food good ambiance
Food taste great and prices are reasonable for its quality. Mevin customer service was super. Thanks
Phenomenal in every way !
Lacklustre food, not terrible but not great either - overpriced for that matter
Every time we r in sing we make sure we eat here.. our local for pizza or a la carte... great dough on the pizzas. ..
Amazing steak, loved the ambience/atmosphere, great service.
Great Italian food and desserts
Great food and nice, relaxing ambience. Definitely great for a date night!
Nice place and anthentic italian food. Must improve a bit in the service
Amazing Italian food, love the calamari and pasta!
Truely authentic Italian flavour with the ambience
Great food top with great service. Love it.
Great food. Must try risotto
Excellent quality of cuisine. The food is good, including the pizza. If you go as a couple, I suggest booking an outdoor table as there is a lot of "chattering" noise in the room which could disturb communication.
