Reviews of Limoncello Restaurant
The seafood stew was fantastic!! so was the pizza, in my opinion, although the hubs defer his opinion on the pizza crust.. Lasagna was overcooked... we preferred his brother's version a few meters down the river (D.O.P Mozzarella Bar & Restaurant).. Sea bream was also overcooked as it was quite pasty, and the meat was not as sweet as we anticipated how it should be...
Top vibes here! I enjoyed every dish, but I think my favorite was the burrata with Parma ham. Super romantic feels here and the price is super reasonable and worth it!!! I'm keen to return soon 🥰
Wanted to dine at Publico but it’s fully booked so we went here which slowly started filling up seats by night.
𝙁𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞 𝙙𝙞 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙯𝙤 𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙞 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙤𝙣 ($28)
- Al dente homemade fettuccine with a slight chewy bite soaked the luscious sauce well, although a little too wheat-tasting for me.
- Champignon mushrooms provided an earthy note.
- Beef tenderloin strips were a bit gamey and could be more tender though.
𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤 𝙥𝙞𝙯𝙯𝙖 ($29)
- White base with mozzarella, parmesan, porcini mushrooms, very flavourful beef sausage and button mushrooms!
- I liked the thin pizza dough that’s Neapolitan-style with a crispy crust and a slight chew 🍕
𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙖, 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙞 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙖 30 𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙞 𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙤 ($24)
- Burrata cheese was very fresh and creamy!!
- Balanced with prosciutto ham that’s moist and not overly salty.
𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞 𝙙𝙞 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙯𝙖 ($32)
- Baby squid fried in crispy coating was firmly chewy with a salty flavour profile!
- Prawns were sweet, wouldn’t mind a bigger portion given the price of the starter 🦐
Complimentary bread was served warm and soft, we enjoyed it so much that we got another basket 🥖 Their seafood tasted fresh so a better choice of pasta could be the crab linguine or mix seafood spaghetti!

Nice atmosphere & delicious food - the burrata with parma ham, seafood spaghetti and sorbet was so good! We had such excellent service from Nikola 👏 Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable 😊
Great food, great ambience. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Recommend to pre-book. Must visit for authentic Italian food. Must try Gnocchi and Burrata Ravioli pasta.
Loved the Italian food here. Pretty decent and authentic, my place to go for pizzas. Quite good ambience as well dining on a weekend afternoon. Not crowded and place was cosy. Loved the staff here who make good dish recommendations as well. No need to worry if you stepped in with no idea in mind!
Read the tiramisu had amaretto, could not taste it..
No coffee taste as well. Disappointed with it
Pizza crust was quite ok.
Portobello mushrooms and spinach seem to be too expensive for the number of quarters on the plate. Personally don’t like the smell of Parmesan (overpowering)
Calamari was good. Prawns were fresh and crunchy.
Buratta was not authentic (no liquid centre) everything was quite solid.
Nestled alongside the serene Robertson Quay in Singapore, Limoncello beckons patrons with its modern take on Italian cuisine, skillfully fusing international elements with traditional flavors.
The dynamic neighborhood, abuzz with activity, perfectly complements the restaurant's contemporary ambiance, creating a destination that resonates with both locals and visitors.
My visit to Limoncello coincided with the spirited atmosphere of National Day, a fitting backdrop for an indulgent lunch. In a fortunate twist of fate, I managed to secure a table, enabling me to savor the diverse offerings that Limoncello had to offer.
Upon entering, the interiors captivated me with their modern and international allure. A palette of grays and whites dominated the space, lending an air of sophistication. The restaurant's centerpiece, a wood-fired pizza oven, stood as a testament to tradition, providing a tactile link to authentic Italian fare amid the contemporary surroundings.
My culinary journey began with the 4 Stagioni pizza—a true showcase of Italian culinary artistry. Each quadrant boasted an impressive medley of artichokes, olives, ham, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese, each flavor harmonizing perfectly with the next. Despite the masterful combination, the slightly tougher crust beneath gave me pause, revealing a minor flaw in an otherwise tantalizing creation.
Seeking a harmonious conclusion, I opted for the profiteroles for dessert—a choice that added a delightful touch to my meal. These delicate pastries, filled with creamy goodness, provided a sweet contrast to the savory delights that preceded them. The seamless transition from savory to sweet showcased Limoncello's ability to craft a well-rounded dining experience.
Enhancing my meal was a pint of Manbrea beer—a refreshing choice that paired perfectly with the rich flavors of the pizza. This lesser-known Italian beer was a testament to Limoncello's commitment to authenticity, infusing my meal with an unmistakable Italian spirit.
When the bill arrived, the SGD 70 total for the pizza, beer, and dessert reflected Limoncello's positioning in the mid-range category. The quality of ingredients, the modern ambiance, and the thoughtful touches all contributed to a dining experience that felt justified in its cost.
In conclusion, Limoncello presents a fresh perspective on Italian dining in the heart of Singapore. The modern and international interior design, while surprising, adds a layer of intrigue to the experience. The wood-fired pizza oven bridges the gap between tradition and innovation, while the 4 Stagioni pizza showcases the intricacies of Italian flavors. Although the pizza's crust texture fell slightly short, the overall experience remained satisfying. With a neutral evaluation, I wholeheartedly recommend Limoncello to those seeking a modern yet authentic Italian meal, complete with innovative touches and a thoughtful selection of flavors, all within an inviting contemporary setting.
Stopped by for a mid day tipple / aperitivo, and the staff were nice, friendly.
There's a wide range of decent Italian fare with a nice selection of booze for a ladies' brunch, twosome, or family gathering.
They serve a decent espresso as well, which is a nice treat.
I'd try the Burrata and Calamaretti for Antipasti and decide between Pasta or Pizza.
Recommended.
The pizza was nice. Fresh ingredients used.love the clam so much! The chocolate cake was rich and creamy. The Tiramisu is just okay, nothing special about it. The service is a bit slow and not so friendly.
Come here with my friend 2 times. I think this is the best pizza I've had. Service was good, staff were friendly and helpful, the price is reasonable too. The ambiance makes me feel warm, good for couples or family. Keep coming back here ❤️
Had a delightful evening at Limoncello. Overall, food was reasonably priced and delicious. It's pretty difficult for a burrata and prosciutto combo to go wrong. The pizza, however, was average in my opinion and I've had better at other Italian restaurants. Limoncello might just be overrated. Don't think I will revisit plainly due to the fact that I know there are better Italian places out there.
Really nice spot right on the river, with great Italian food and good service. Price point was good and there is a choice of both indoor and outdoor sitting.
Wonderful service and delicious pasta. Thank you for service and for the extra special care in celebrating a birthday in our group as well. Dessert were nice. Thank you all so much!
We came to Limoncello to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was excellent. We had the Linguine al tartufo, Fettucini with black truffle and the Linguine with crabmeat. They even gave us a complimentary slice of cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Service was excellent too. Will definitely visit again. Great atmosphere.
I am not Italian (yap…I am Korean) but I would say this place is authentic and reasonable. Very tasteful and nice 😋
Waiter is really kind. he hovered around us all the time until we ate all of the food. he kept asking is it okay or sth like that.
We really enjoyed lunch at here. The restaurant is near the river, so the view was fine. taste is also good. I like the taste of caprese
One of the better Italian restaurants by far. Decently priced with good portion sizes .
Highly recommend the tiramisu and lemon cake for dessert
Pros:
- Great and attentive service, from start to finish
- delicious starter (burrata and jamon). The combination was creamy and savoury at the same time, and had amazing mouthfeel
- Generous seafood ingredients in pasta. 10 clams, crabmeat chunks, scallop and a fresh prawn
- value for money (exec set lunch with DBS 1 for 1)
- nice and posh ambience
- tasty bread for starters
Cons:
- food took a little long to come
- pasta's delicate sauce was a little too delicate and didn't cling well to the pasta
- squid in the pasta tasted a little old (chewy and tough)
All in all though, the pros outweighed the cons significantly and we were very happy with the meal
Lovely place, make sure you make a reservation. All the pizzas I've ordered were fantastic. Go for the seafood one, truly remarkable. The calzone is also fantastic.
Prices are ok, not cheap, not expensive. Very good service.
Wonderful dining experience at Limoncello! I forgot that I mentioned it was a birthday dinner when I made the booking (my gf and I have the same birthday). The portions were large and we were very satisfied (as the boyfriend I had to eat whatever the girlfriend couldn't finish). I intended to order the tiramisu but I was already too full. After calling for the bill, we were completely surprised by the kindness of the staff who served us a slice of delicious cake, and two shots of Limoncello on the house. We weredelighted and very appreciative of the gesture. Definitely will return!
The Australia Wagyu beef is nice.
Pizza is also nice.
The management leading the service team is friendly & helpful.
Very likely to go back again.
Thanks for having my family on 18 May 2024 in the separate room.
Food were excellent! Service was awesome 👍 Ambient were great too! Really love it 💜
Limoncello is a rare find for me where I can take myself away from the buzz of Island life and be isolated in an environment that's different, relaxing and in some ways comforting. It's a place on its own in Robertson Quay, the ambience spectacular and their service staff phenomal. Having lunch with the family there, they were more than accommodating, even bridging the gap between customers and staff to have a few secret laughs at events that transpired that day. The food was really well made, you can tell someone did it with love. One of the best steaks I've had in a while!
Delicious traditional Italian meals. Friendly service with a beautiful view by the river.
Highly recommend their Burrata Prosciutto and Deep Sea Fried Prawn and Calamari antipasti.
3 of us had a small dessert and 7 cups of mixed wine. Love the environment, so chilled
Good food, good service. Very friendly. Only thing that's not good is the bread. The rest is totally fine.
The food was quite exceptional. Loved the antipasto limoncello and pastas. The pizzas were pretty good too with a nice charred crust. The complimentary birthday cake was also a nice touch. However, the interior of the restaurant is very warm esp if you're dining in the evening. There are multiple ceiling fans installed inside but was informed that none of them are working. The many large ACs were not cool enough too.
Lovely atmosphere. Very homely. Service was impeccable as well. Gave my dad a complimentary birthday cake. Am grateful for that. Needless to say the food is fantastic!
I always enjoy this restaurant!
Nice pizza and vibes.
My favorite pizza restaurant in Singapore, I recommend the "Limoncello" pizza especially. The other dishes like the calamari are also very good,
Service is quite efficient and atmosphere quite nice.
Came here for an anniversary dinner and had a superb experience! Food was excellent and great value for the price you pay, service was great with knowledgeable staff and the ambience was cosy and elegant.
Had an early dinner there with family. Nice quick dinner. Serves beef steak, fish, pizzas and pastas dishes. All are nice and reasonably priced.
The best meal we had this year.
Celebrated my girlfriend's birthday on 5 Nov. We started with the Burrata with Parma Ham starter. The Burrata was creamy and was such a perfect complement to the savoury Parma ham.
Had the Limoncello pizza and the lamb chops. The pizze was cooked perfectly and was definitely one of the best pizza I ever had. The lamp chops were cooked perfectly to medium temp, and the shocking addition star of the plate was the roasted potatoes.
At the end of dinner, we were too full and decided not to order desserts. However, as I've mentioned it's my gfs birthday in my reservation, the restaurant was so attentive and present us with a free birthday dessert.
Pardon me but the ambience was so good too! The restaurant was buzzing and everything was just amazing.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
Best Pizza's and Pasta's, taste wise 5 star, very polite staff, indoor and out door seating available, we loved the food, I would highly recommend this place.
Pizzas were good. Good deal on the wine promo. Service is about average and the place gets noisy when full. Average overall.
Great food at a great price, all thumbs up for this place that was recommended to me by an Italian friend.
Incredible food! Soft pillowy gnocchi, exquisite raviolini and perfectly cooked wood fired pizza. A perfect setting to enjoy delicious food. Some of the staff were a little wooden (smile people!) but all in all a great experience.
Service: great
Food: great
Price: great
Atmosphere: great
Consistently good food. Been back here few times now.
First things first, this is my kind of pizza.
Thin crispy base, no soggy in the middle, nice crust. Delicious quality fresh tasting tomato sauce. Very robust and fruity. Not bland or salty. Just perfect , hit the spot.
Lobster pasta was delcious. cooked perfectly el Dente with well cooked lobster. Was not overdone. Could not ask for anything done differently.
Burrata with cherry tomatoes and cured meat was insanely good. A Must.
Lamb chops were fantastic too! My only dislike was the veg on the side had too much butter. But I think that comes down to personal preference.
The ravioli dish wasnt bad but it did not stand out like the other dishes. We still finished it all ofcourse.
All dishes came out perfect timing aswell. Which we really really appreciated.
Thank you !!!! Had the perfect Italian dinner I will always crave and compare to.
Ambience was lovely, water feature wall really set the mood. Beautiful at night time. For food, pizza is good, and wine list is decently priced
If you like you pizza outdoors while people watching along the beautiful Singapore river - this could be your place. Actually REALLY good steaks too. Kids love the pasta and super casual. Inside is air conditioned and couples central. On a balmy Singapore evening it's heavenly.
Easily one of my favourite restaurants in Singapore. The food is delicious and well priced for the quality. The service is exceptional and the owner is a great guy too! Highly recommended for great Italian cuisine.
Friendly team there that looks after you. Tried the exec lunch which was pretty average. Burrata was nice as a starter. Veal and the dessert was disappointing. My wife had the seafood pasta which was OK.
The Pizzas, primarily are why I eat here. Secondly, it's the ambiance. The establishment is next to a river offering a quiet location for dining. Dining inside is preferred due to the heat. Highly recommend trying the their pizzas!!!
really like this place, although found it a bit difficult to get to. visited last week. love the pizzas and had a ravioli here. not to mention staff are friendly and nice, easy to talk to
Food was decent. Waiter looked annoyed at me? I don’t think i called him more than 2-3 times during the entire meal?
Well better than most restaurants in Italy - just spectacular- the Gelato Icecream is amazing truly Italian - every bite along the way to the dessert is fully authentic- well done
Nice ambience, great pizzas
The pasta 🍝 is really good. Pizza 🍕 was ok, the veggies fool of cheese not bad at all and the wine (Doppio Passo Primitivo) was quite nice
The service was awesome! So was the food. Had the salmon it was moist and done well. Had the appetiser some mushroom cheese thing and margarita pizza too. Well done.
Really good for making parties.awesome atmosphere..good management..especially realistic authentic amalfi cuisine..great pizza and we had a great meal includes entrecote beef meat and lamp chop..big quantity..woow..really we are very happy..we reserved table outdoor and its facing to the river.,really a nice experience..thanks a lot..Good service.cheers
Very romantic place and fancy quantity food! Great for a date!
Some of the best authentic Italian Food you can get in Singapore in a great setting in Robertson Quay...👌🏼👍🏼
The lamb was amazing. I'll certainly be back on my next visit.
Visited for the first time during lunch time.
I unexpectedly discovered burrata cheese in the lunch set!! ️
I jumped at such a good deal (^^;)))
I chose prosciutto and burrata cheese for my appetizer, pasta for my main course, and bite-sized cream puffs (not too sweet) for dessert, all of which were delicious and very satisfying😆🎶
To be honest, I would be even happier if the set lunch included a drink...
I had an elegant time! ️
1 person/S$35-40
It's an elegant shop. All the store staff are kind. The food is also delicious! ! After your meal, you can take a walk along the river and soak in the romantic atmosphere.
An Italian restaurant by the river. The pasta is delicious. It’s a restaurant that can be visited by a group of people or just one person!
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is suitable for a date. The terrace seats are also comfortable.
The food is Italian and delicious, and they have a wide variety of wine bottles.
It may vary from person to person, but there are employees who make mistakes in simple orders several times and don't feel sorry. Of course, there are also employees who work really hard.
Am I the only one who feels a bit discriminatory towards customers?
It's delicious, but what's more appealing than the taste is the atmosphere. From casual to dates and anniversaries.
