Food is reasonably priced. Parking by the road is available but quite packed. Paid parking is nearby. Came here many times. A nice quiet place for simple get together.

Had the lamb leg with a couple of frieds yesterday, the lamb was tender and juicy, the chef had the lamb half cooked and the rest of the cooking was done on our table with charcoal as we enjoy the well done crust of the leg. Had some skewers and it matches really well with the spice provided on the table. Will come back again!

- Grilled Lamb Leg is the best. The big one is S$89, the smaller one is S$69. - I think a group of 2 people can try 1 small one lamp leg, 1 fried rice and 1 cucumber salad and the drinks, it cost about S$90. - Should book a table in Chinese before coming. They prefer to serve customer speaking in Chinese. - There is a Vietnamese waiter here, it is easier for my group. - The toilet is not quite clean. - There is no English in the front of the restaurant, but the menu has. - Table No.4, connecting wifi or using 4G are unstable.

Second favourite place for authentic china BBQ 🤤 Chinese BBQ skewers, affordable food and alcohol, roadside atmosphere 💯 Everything you would expect in a Chinese stall 👍🏻 Really amazing chinese skewers, the meat is well marinated and tender. What makes it interesting is the real charcoal used to heat up the skewers 😂 Don’t forget their chilli powder which is the best and it is not very spicy but pairs well with all the skewers 🔥😋

The whole lamb leg is really good .Has no smell and it’s really tender.They roast it until half cooked and then they will serve it on your table with charcoals to finish the BBQing. Decor feels dated ,like an old Night Club .Some nude paintings 😬that felt awkward especially with kids around. Overall,it’s the food that really sells and they have achieved that.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3.5 / 5 stars for me This is the go to place for a fantastic lamb. Other than the lamb the other skewers were really mediocre. The beef fell below my expectations and were really tough. The other side dishes were ok. However, the fried sliced potatoes 土豆丝were super super spicy, so do remember to ask for less spice if you were to order that. Tofu skin was not great and a lil tough. Finally the place does have pretty decent service and i commend that.

3rd time visiting. Managed to get a reservation inside to have the BBQ lamb leg! It’s very good. A very good Chinese BBQ compared to many others in the area. One thing to note is someone the orders is in sticks of 5. Make sure you read the menu carefully. The BBQ is one of the best item on the menu.

(NEW 3 🌟) Quite disappointed to be honest, we ordered most of the old stuff we normally do, and found the standards dropping 2 notches. 羊肉串was still OK, and likewise the Japanese pork belly skewers, the grilled 油麦菜was OK too. But all others were quite substandard. And note for myself, DO NOT order grilled fish, grilled chicken whole leg, grilled beef, and grilled eggs in foil. (OLD 5 🌟) The first point I'm making is a promise to return - and this time for the lamb leg. We've been adventurous and tried various Chinese 烧烤 over the years and this is so far the best. I don't really care what people mention/ rate about hygiene and cleanliness - I think Singaporens in general has been exposed to much worse which we've not had the chance to see (in the kitchen for example). We absolutely enjoyed all we've ordered and would have had more if we had the stomach.. so, we're determined to be back with a bang (and a gang) to sample much more in the menu.

It’s yummy and they serve authentic 烤串！ it’s a shame that we didn’t order the lamb leg coz only 2 of us and don’t think we can finished it. Just one small comment the dumpling skin is a bit too thick.

This is basically a hidden gem!! I love this place so much!! It feels so comfortable and everything is well prepared for you. The food is 10/10!! Feels so authentic and nice!! Their chilli powder is the best and it is not very spicy but it pairs well with all the food stick! Definitely will come again! The staff are nice too and fast service.

Number one Chinese BBQ place in Singapore for me. The lamb leg is my favourite. The drinks are pretty awesome too. Every time I come to Maldives, this place is a must-go place. Thanks to our friends who showed us the place. Might be difficult to order food if you don't speak Chinese because the staff here doesn't speak ANY Chinese as far as I know. But the food is just awesome. 100 percent recommend

Good quality of foods, and not so spicy and fragnant, it makes my mind to visit again soon. But I will be happier if they can understand English. We can order using iPad on the wall, but calling staffs is difficult for us, since they only speak in Mandarin.

LDM is my fiancé and his friends favourite gathering place, and he’s been promoting this place 🤣 to every new friends that he met. I personally not too into BBQ food, what I like is the way they cut the meat into very smaller pieces that you can put in your mouth with one bite. And there’s “auto heater” so that your bbq food won’t be cold. Tasty for sure, it’s authentic Chinese restaurant.

Place: 3/5 - looks run down. With plastic sheets on between table. Service: 5/5 - one of the skewer restaurant with better service. Attentive staff, polite & friendly. Food: 2/5 - Plain looking food skewers, without little bbq seasoning. We order lamb meat too. Meat was tough and dry. Cold dish ( cucumber) not well tossed. 辣子鸡 meat was dry and not flavourful but salty. The only nice dish was the clam in aluminium foil. Overall still edible but not good enough.

There are two Liu Da Ma restaurants quite close to each other. We went to the one at 260 Geylang Road, which seems the quieter of the two and has booth seating for two. Be aware that the food is cooked and delivered to you. No one in the restaurant had charcoal grills going at the table. The food was quite decent and the staff attentive, even friendly. You'll find it easier by far if you speak Chinese. Though there's English in the menu and the ordering sheet, I don't think the staff speak much of it. It's not five stars for the musty odour in the air, sort of like the inside of an old cupboard. Perhaps inevitable because of the cooking in the kitchen?

Skewers are well seasoned & they are all served cooked. The grill is just to keep the food warm. Visited on a Friday night & the place was packed. Do try to make an advanced reservation for peak hour dining. We accidentally ordered a lobster dish which was $28 but it was nevertheless tasty. The bill for 5 people came up to $115, inclusive of a few beers so it’s a pretty reasonable.

This chinese BBQ place in geylang has many memories for me, generally good haha. Prebooking process is easy just via phone call and you make your way there at that timing. Ordering process is easy via ipad touch screen and prices are pretty reasonable. Key orders are intestines, tomato egg, pork belly, pork collar, lamb meat, beef meat, potatoes, leef.. with iced cold chilled beers Payment process can be cash, visa, nets, paylah/now the usual ones..

very typical china-looking place in geylang.. the individual table stalls actually looked like they were remodeled from an ex-nightclub.. food wise, we had the lamb ribs, which were really great! no gamey smell & very juicy! tasted wonderful with their special spice blend. we loved their 蒜蓉油麦菜 too! 😋

Read the review and decided to try out the lamb leg. No gamey smell and layer on of chilli applied on the skin with the oil oozing out under the heat. But too much for 3pax and we had it packed for the unfinished meat. The leg cost $78. It’s a good experience to try out slicing the meat and eating it hot. Staff are friendly, nothing much about the ambiance and ventilation.

This is a rare find in Singapore, I'm told it's the only place in the country that does barbecue leg of lamb at your table. The tables have hot coals loaded into the middle and you can put your skewers on a mechanism that rotates it for you. It's great and I thought cheap too. We ordered quail, belly pork and sausage to barbecue as well as some Chinese fungus eaten with Chinese wasabi, which was a real sinus cleaner! Delicious

Really delicious lamb leg! It’s a unique experience having the leg barbecued in front of you while you slice the roasted meat from the skewer. The meat is well seasoned and tender. We also ordered lamb satay, lamb fried rice, as well as (ahem) barbecued lamb testicle.

A friend introduced me to this restaurant in Geylang where you can eat barbecued lamb♪ Unlike what I had imagined, it was an exciting experience where each table roasted a whole lamb. It's sure to look great! You can grill it for a while on the table, cut it, and once you've eaten halfway through, have the meat go to the kitchen, remove it from the bone, and bring it back to you, and you'll have a regular Yakiniku-style BBQ! The food other than BBQ is Chinese food, and the taste is delicious ♪ We recommend going with multiple people instead of just two! !

I've been here several times since a friend recommended it. The leg of lamb is delicious! It's fun to eat while everyone is cutting into pieces. The other dishes are also basically perfect and I am very satisfied. Unfortunately, when I made a reservation, I was told "No English" because they couldn't speak English and hung up on me (I got it from a friend who can speak Chinese). Many of the staff can't speak English, but you can order using the touch panel. As long as you manage to make a reservation, you'll be fine. By the way, it's a popular restaurant and there are often lines, so it's best to make a reservation.
