Reviews of Lucky Saigon Restaurant-Raffles
Went for dinner a bit after 6 on a Friday and it was not crowded, so food came quickly. Everything we had was wonderful! Even ordered another round of fried spring rolls for take out.
Great flavours and affordable prices. Went to this hide-out located on the second floor of a shop house. The place is ran by Vietnamese it seems. Try out their set lunches, really good and worth it. It’s also halal, so suitable for everyone to try!
Usually, I would go for the BBQ chicken with rice vermicelli, but the Seafood noodle soup just seems more tempting that day, & it was packed with flavour & lots of seafood & bean sprouts! Surprisingly, the iced tea was infused with a scent of pandan (which we thought was lotus at first). 😯

Pleased to find the menu has a large variety of regional Vietnamese dishes, beyond the usual Pho and Ban Mi! Food prices are also reasonable/cheaper as compared to other chains in malls and I felt that my meal was good value for money. Happy to have to tried this place as I was looking for Vietnamese food in the area.
I had the "beef stew with toasted bread" and was expecting a few slices of bread to come with the stew. Instead, an entire loaf was served up and it was even sliced for convenient tearing. The stew was flavourful and the beef and carrots were soft, so it seems like it has been cooking for a long time. Bread was soft on the inside but had a thin crispy shell on the outside. I also ordered an iced coffee which was as strong, sweet and rich as expected.
It feels very cosy and chill here too! With nice ambient lighting, tucked away on the 2nd floor away from the worst of the traffic. It would be great to drop by for an iced drink in the middle of the day, or to take shelter and get dinner on a rainy evening.
Will definitely come back again to try the other dishes!
Tried the signature sliced beef pho, stir fried tofu, fried spring rolls and ice milk coffee.
Pho was pretty good comparison to a benchmark pho like “so pho”. The fried tofu was pretty good, it was relatively spicy as well. Fried spring roll were decent not particularly great. Spent about 43SGD on this meal! I would say this restaurant is a slightly above average! PORTIONS were good and worth its price.
A nice chillout place in the city. Hard to find as there were not sufficient signs to direct us to the Cafe but surprisingly, the Cafe is quite crowded on a weekday lunch.
We love the ambience as there were greens all around and a huge cage with parrots, chickens, turkey and other birds. Also a pond with large fishes.
However, food was just ok. Will definitely bring the kids for a visit for the ambience but not so for the food.
We ordered the Pho dac biet. The soup is nice, a notch less saltier than other version I've tried. The beef is not at all soft, required some chewing effort.
One of the best halal restaurants in the area, with great food & service. The coffee tastes authentically Vietnamese and the prices are reasonable considering their huge servings. The restaurant is however on the second floor behind a flight of stairs and may not be accessible to all.
Really glad to find this restaurant tucked at clarke quay. Love the pho with great soup and tender beef slices/balls. Food is comparable or even better than other pho places in Malls and their prices are reasonable as well.
Also had their milk coffee which is good.
Yum!! The chicken pho is really nice and flavorful. The bahn mi is crispy and fresh. Spring rolls also very tasty 🤤
Wide selection of set lunch available here. Tasty beef pho and nice fresh spring roll.
Super authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Very delicious and halal! We were happy customers.
Great food!
The fried spring rolls were especially nice!
Kind of my weekly lunch catch up suggestion with the people I meet in the cbd area. Good value for set lunches that generally ranges between $10-13 for a main course with an additional spring roll appetiser plus a iced tea. The restaurant probably sits about 40 people and turnover is quick. I never have to wait for a table even during rush hour.
A Halal Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Singapore. Food taste great with generous servings. Do try their Pho and Avocado smoothie!
Pho was perfect. Spring roll skin was a bit dried
Very authentic Vietnamese vibes here and the portion is great for the price!! Will definitely come back here again :)
It was our first time there. The staff were very well mannered. I don't eat a lot of vietnamese food, but what we had was nice, a bánh mì and rice paper rolls. I hope to try the noodles on my next visit!
Quiet and peaceful ambience. Food came a little slow but tasty! Price is reasonable and unlike other Vietnamese restaurant that charges slightly more expensive. Location is easy to find as well. Just upstairs. Take note that this place has no airconditioner tho!
Quite possibly the best bun Bo you can find in Singapore.
For those who are aware of vietnamese cuisine, many of its prominent dishes features pork as a main ingredient. However, being a Halal establishment, it is amazing how without the use of pork, Lucky Saigon is still able to create an amazing bowl of bun bo.
Fragrant, delicious and adequately spicy, this Bun Bo is in a class of its own.
Wrap up the meal with a nice serving of Banh Flan - Equally delicious
Cosy. Decent food, affordable prices in the area.
Went on Saturday 2pm, there wasn't many people and the ambience is great. So peaceful! the food was nice, so homey. the overall dining experience is excellent!
Tried the sweet beef noodles and the seafood noodles soup both of which were good. The tamarind juice was nice too. Only issue was that the aircon wasn’t working.
Authentic Vietnam foods. Waitresses wearing ao dai added to that authenticity. Reasonable prices for set lunch menu. During weekday lunch, restaurant can be overcrowded & waitresses can be slow & flustered. Location a bit obscure as it's located at the 2nd level above a coffeeshop
Nice food, staff is friendly ! Worth it
Great halal Pho noodles and mango salad. The only Pho noodles in Singapore that tasted exactly like the ones in HoChiMinh.
Food is decent but the wait time for takeout is just too long! Why would it take 20 minutes to put together a sandwich??
Authentic and reasonably priced vietnamese food. Ambience is also very good as it feels like you're being transported away from the CBD.
First time having Vietnamese food. It was good. The music is very current and the drinks are strong
Average. We ate beef and fish dishes. Fresh spring rolls 3/5 stars.
Love to eat here after long hours of working. Live their fried rice, noodles and Filipino dish.
Set lunches are quite value for money, and the food is excellent.
Good food, affordable and staff are really nice!
Authentic vietnamese food, cosy atmosphere, great experience
Quirky restaurant that serves good for value lunch.
Vietnamese foods,local & western delights..drinks.nice ambience
Authentic Vietnamese at CBD and reasonable prices
Delicious food at fair price.
Pretty place wif pretty staff
Authentic and delicious Vietnamese food.
Exceptional Vietnamese Goodness
Quirky good street bar
Old hangout!
Came a few time with friends, family and colleagues. Food is also tip top. The noodle bowl is big. Could be shared between 2 people. The side dishes are delicious. Spring rolls, both fresh and fried are good. The grilled prawns are delicious. Service is a bit slow at lunch. So a bit rushed for an hour lunch time.
