Affordable mala and cooked dishes - If you’re in the neighborhood, this stall does a pretty good job of addressing your hawker mala cravings. The 水煮鱼 is also worth an order here. 3 stars as it can take a very long time (40 min) to get you food.

I may be looking through rose-tinted lenses, but it seems that the Mala Xiang Guo here has become a watered-down version of its glorious past. Pros: - The mushroom selection is extraordinary, and the pork and beef are fresh. - Quite affordable. Cons: - The fish and prawns are not fresh, probably because they keep it in an inaccessible bin and no one reaches for it! - Spice levels are poorly calibrated. Medium spicy is slightly less spicy than a McSpicy.

It was so disappointing that there was no wide noodles. There was a long line and the store was always crowded. The Mala Xianggu was delicious.
