I like the taste! Super crispy, fragrant fried skin and not oily! Satisfied with the portion! Feels like almost half of the spring chicken, comes with fragrant rice, sambal, cucumber, and a bowl of soup, it's $6.50 only, worth it! Add sides only $1 each.

Finally get to try this Ayam goreng. Love the expertly prepared fried chicken and some crumb bits. The fried chicken n rice super yummy. And their side dish sold v fast b4 dinner time -6pm. Try to go early as there are long q during peak hours.

Authentic taste of the nasi ayam. Chicken legs are well fried. It’s not too dry. And the meat inner is super tender The chicken skin is very thin and very crispy. Reasonable price for the set, however for the side dishes a little over priced. Fast servicing. The chilli is the sweet style.

when asked about waiting time as we see so many ppl waiting around was told 5mins (it was really a grumpy Nasi lemak) but we waited 20mins instead. But the Nasi lemak was really good but really small portion as well. Chicken was soft and marinated well (chicken breast was more tough), expensive add on for 3hotdog and 4quail egg. And expensive for $6.5 rice and chicken only

Soup, rice, chicken, crumbs all power pack. This is the chilli I'm looking for. Only those who enjoy Malaysian chili will enjoy such things.

Went to try it for myself. Not going to lie, overall the food is good and alright, but nothing crazy about it. I personally liked the soup and sambal. The rempah used for chicken is okay too. The set menu also comes with 3pcs sambal quail eggs and a choice to add-on sambal hotdog for $1. Portion is just right for me. The eating place seems new, so it's quite clean and comfortable.

*Food Quite surprised with the portion and price. For $6.50 you are getting a huge chicken with rice and sweet sauce. The chicken is freshly fried every minute and you can rest assured you are getting the chicken piping hot . *Service The waiting time is around 5-8 minutes if it's not busy.Expect longer waiting times during peak hour. My only concern is the queue area during peak hours.I understand there is no proper queueing area however the staff should have asked those that haven't ordered kindly come forward, as the queue those that are waiting for their food and wanted to order is mixed. *Atmosphere No complain, just your typical hawker center To summarize, my overall visit has been great. Will definitely come again for the food.Good food, big portion and not expensive.

I have been looking forward to trying this after seeing the hype on social media but it was a letdown. The star of the dish, the fried chicken, was cold and dry. A pity it did not live up to the reviews people gave.

It wasnt my plate of chicken rice (aka it wasnt my cuppa tea). The outer part of the huge chicken piece, though crispy, was in large parts dry inside. It wasn't a yummy piece of chicken for me. And the sambal, the centrepiece which cld hv been the mise en scene of the entire dish, didnt do it for me. Maybe it's the fact tat ive had my mum's awesome sambal tumis to compare to & of cos tat aint my fault, but the sambal didn't spark joy nor induced healthy sweat for me. I don't understd the hype, but i appreciate tat he's been in the biz for long & tat they priced it within what it should be. But for the taste, not in my Toa Payoh to-do list.

🥢The famous Lucky Plaza Fried Chicken Rice. ....................................-- 🟨 "Mr Grumpy Nasi Ayam" at Toa Payoh (🟩 2nd outlet of Lucky Plaza's Nasi Ayam Goreng) 🤎 Address= Block 73, Lorong 4, Toa Payoh, #01-585, Singapore 310073 ( ➡️opp the Church of the Risen Church) ✅️ My husband 打包 ( takeaway) 2 packets of Fried Ayam Goreng at SGD6.50 per pack. ➡️ We added one bergedil to the rice. ☑️ The Fried Chicken Malay-style is delicious. It's crispy on the outside & meat is soft and tender inside.🌶 The sweet & savoury chilli paste is top notch. ✅️ Service wise, the 2 guys manning the stall are friendly, my husband said. 💚 Overall, it is a great lunch dish, sedap sekali. ▪︎Dated 1st May 2024 Wed.

Easily the best Nasi Ayam around that area. Crispy on the outside, tender in the inside. Sambal is great and rice is fragrant. Scattered fried crumbs on the rice give every mouth a nice crunchy fragrant taste. Complimentary soup to finish off the meal.
