Reviews of My Little Spanish Place
It was a cozy and nice Spanish restaurant with warm lights and aesthetic decorations. My fav is grilled octopus, the meat is juicy and tender accompanied by mashed potatoes on the side. Pan con tomate has quite heavy garlic taste although I would prefer more emphasis on tomato.
Make sure you called to make reservations otherwise very hard to get a seat at dinner peak hours. Special shout-out to Marie, she was super nice and attentive. She managed to find a seat for me when I walk-in and the meal just made my day! Thank you 😊
Had a lovely, intimate dinner with my wife. This is one of our repeat go-tos'. They opened the upstairs space but we love downstairs - it's dim and intimate with eclectic elegant homely feel. The food was excellent from start to end. We just learnt last night we could asked for the paella to be wet or crispy. Crispy was great! The sangrias are lovely. The service by this British Lady and I think a Filipino gentleman was impeccable. So sorry I didn't get their names. My wife and I had a lovely evening as usual 🥰🥰
Not our first visit. The food is good. Price is reasonable. Service staff give good recommendation and even suggest small portion. We are glad to take their advice. Otherwise it will be too much for 4 of us.
The food was good all round but what was most impressive was the fantastic service by the lovely staff. She was friendly and professional, and paid close attention to our needs (e.g. topping up our water promptly) without being at all intrusive.
We have a great time last night in this restaurant, The best Spanish cuisine that we have so far. Food was really delicous, presentation, ambiance, decor , music , vibe was lovely, Superb service. Special Thanks to Chef Edward and his whole team, everything was excellent even their selection of wines.
Nice cosy place with European country side deco. They have 4 life ham on display and serving. As we wanted to try more variety of food did not order the Paella May be we had missed the most important dish. 😛 service is very attentive and great.
We were at this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday as she picked this place for she loves tapas while studying in London.
We were greatly disappointed that we were given the table facing the door despite the fact that we mentioned it was for birthday celebration during reservation.
The dishes were a hit and miss.
We ordered Gambus, prawn in olive oil and garlic; cod fish croquettes with creamy sauce filling, which we agreed that this dish was delicately prepared and lovely. The Iberico grilled pork with peppers and shaved potatoes was ordinary and the shaved potatoes were too soft and oily to our liking. The 4 dishes are just right for 3 persons.
However, we liked the Paella (small) served with squids, mussels, fish, chorizo in saffron rice. A little let down as the restaurant lacks the touch of warmth for guests on special occasion (intend to give 3.5 stars); nevertheless the wine in glass (2 orders - Grenache and Tempranillo) brought delightful smiles on my daughter's face and hope that she will have fond memory of all her special birthday in days to come.
Absolutely delicious. Walked away WAY too full!! The service was great and very cute atmosphere inside. Outside seating was a bit noisy due to traffic on the busy street, but the food and staff made up for it. Will definitely visit again!!
Really nice and cozy ambience Spanish restaurant that’s tucked in Bukit Timah. A must to order are the Jamones (spanish ham) as the appetizer and their house paellas (suggest to go for larger size) as mains and the sangria cocktail. The tapas are well made but nothing to shout about. Wonderful service as well. Suggest reservation as well as the place becomes fully booked during dinner/weekends.
Nice cosy spot, ordered a Gambas Al Ajillo,Tortilla De Patata for a start followed by Albondigas De La Casa and finishing with Paella De La Casa, portion was just right for 2. Food was great with great ambience, will be back with family again.
Such a cosy little place which serves food that will blow your mind. Absolutely perfect!
This place is a gem. Tucked away in one hidden corner of Bukit Timah, the quality of food is indistinguishable from more fashionable and expensive Spanish food establishments in Singapore like La Taperia and Binomio. The range of tapas is sufficient to allow you to try everything. The paella is top notch. Prepare to spend $70 upwards per person with alcohol.
Back here a second time. Good Spanish food. Easy street parking. Some food I finished before I remembered to take a picture.
Back again for the third time, or maybe fourth. Who is counting. Continue to enjoy the food and sangria with friends.
Booked for a friend bday celebration as we always wanted to visit. It's was a prefect evening there! The food are good, nice ambience and great service. We will be back again for sure!
We’ve always enjoyed our dinners here but today’s service by both Izu and manager Marie was Exceptional! My wife had a runny nose and after dinner Izul served her a complimentary lemon ginger tea.
And throughout the entire dinner, both Marie and Izul was constantly checking up on with as well as chatted with us like old friends.
Such warm and logely service ! Well done Izul and Marie, Thank You. We will be back.
Went there yesterday for a birthday celebration. The food served was great and the service was fantastic. The atmosphere was just as nice too. The only comment I have is the background music was a little soft though. But again, it didn't affect our good dining experience there. Will definitely come back again.
Great food. I suggest not getting the gambas if you are going for the paella, unless you are a prawn lover.
Like the food tastes good but meat balls are a bit salty. The prawn in oil and the pork is nice.
Cosy little restaurant that serves really good Spanish food. It’s a must to make reservations to avoid disappointment. We all love the roast pig. It’s absolutely fabulous!
Quaint little restaurant tucked in the corner of Bukit Timah road. Great service staff and Spanish food. Lots of regulars so try to make a reservation before dropping in!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at My Little Spanish Place restaurant that left me with a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an exceptional meal.
The food at this restaurant was nothing short of delicious.
However, what truly stood out to me was the impressive restaurant manager, Jerriek. His professionalism and dedication to providing excellent service were truly commendable.
He went above and beyond to ensure that every guest was well taken care of, and his sincerity was palpable. From recommending the perfect dishes to addressing any concerns or special requests, the manager’s presence added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.
Overall, we left the restaurant feeling not only satisfied but also impressed. The combination of delicious food and the exceptional service provided by the restaurant manager made for an unforgettable evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Food is out of this world. One of the best garlic prawn I’ve tasted the gravy is super addictive. Iberico pork is good as well. The paella is heavenly. If you’re into Gin&Tonic I highly recommend the Gin&Tonic with berries or cinnamon&orange. Service is great, restaurant staffs are friendly. Will definitely visit again.
A wonderful experience with great service and great food. The paella is a must try:) a quaint and comfortable place that reminds u of the comforts of dining at home.
This place is a good place for gathering. Thumb up for the great food. At the beginning there was a small miscommunication but the restaurant manager Jerrick really did a good job by stepping in and sort it out for us. He even checked our order and recommends us what other dishes to order. Indeed now not many restaurant able to find such a nice and friendly manager that able go round table to check on customers with their orders and asked for feedback. This is our first visit, he can really make us feel like home. One of the staff which I forgotten his name he was very friendly too. He mixed up my surprise for our birthday girl and kept apologising to me. Ended up the birthday girl was very happy with the surprise.
But sad to say, he is leaving this place and it will be a great loss to the restaurant. We can only wish him all the best. Hope our next visit to this restaurant will still be a great place for gathering and receive warm welcome.
Was plesently suprised!!Love the spanish food and it's a good place to share tapas 🤗 It's quite far from town but worth the drive.
Predominantly a wine, paellas, tapas place - nice warm ambience. Seating for both inside and outside. Limited parking outside.
Very good Spanish restaurant in Bukit Timah. Excellent for a suburban restaurant but not quite at the level of some of the Spanish places in town.
The best squid ink paella. Delicious tapas. Exceptional service.
We are grateful to Jerriek and team for going the extra mile, providing a surprise finish to our already wonderful meal. The thoughtful and sweet (literally) gesture really made our visit an extra memorable one! The food was also very good, and we especially enjoyed the house paella with fresh prawns and tender chicken, made extra crusty upon our request. The broccolini with romesco sauce was also very well done.
Had a party for 10 at My Little Spanish Place to celebrate a birthday. The experience was excellent from menu planning, sitting arrangement, food quality and service. Highly recommend for a cosy dinner or a party celebration.
Excellent, deserves a Michelin Star. The squid ink paella was exceptionally good, a must eat item.
food was superb. especially love the prawn tapas and mussels. will definitely come back again!!
The place is nice. Staff are friendly and give recommendations on what to order.
Food tasty , well portioned ,however some of the seafood that was order was slightly stale. Had the seafood paella where muscles were a tad mushy . House red was a good paring for the food. Some of the tapas was not up to expectations based on reputation. Recommend to try the bikini and prawns . Rest were passable.
Ambiance was quaint and delightful, spacious and well spaced.
Price is standard for the area. But personally can find better value else where.
Service was decent, they did forget our order and some of the tapas was served late , slightly room temperature when the food arrived and bread was soaked in oil form the waiting around.
Great service and the food was really delicious. My guests enjoyed the meal very much.
Nice service and atmosphere, paella and Spanish ham is recommended but tapas is overpriced
Superb spanish food, lovely ambience. Great staff as well!
Perfect place to get a bit the Spanish feeling....
Spanish bistro... can I say it?
We went there for tapas, and were pleased with the options and quality. The service is quite good, even considering a busy night.
The place feels like Europe and the food reinforce that feeling.
Great bread, good sangria and awesome churros. As vegetarian, I didn't try the jamon, which seems to be the house's specialty (there are four different ones on display). Recommended!
Rich food, great service! Slightly expensive but you get what you pay for here. Thank you for birthday plate 🙂
Made reservation for 2 for Thursday evening.
Ambience: cosy relaxed and casual with Spanish charm. We had a corner table by the window which was very nice.
Food: ordered a variety of tapas and the house paella. All tasted delicious and made with high quality ingredients. You can taste the freshness of the individual ingredients and all well seasoned. If I had to be picky, the paella could use a touch more of the socarrat (crispy charred bottom).
We had a glass of cava each which was very refreshing and crisp. Balanced.
Service: friendly, prompt and information. Always with a smile which was great.
Would definitely come again with small and large groups. For visitors take note to devote a bit more time to finding a parking lot. The immediate parking spaces in front of the restaurant are few so you will need to park in the immediate surrounding public parking which are quite sporadic or you can park straight in Coronation Plaza next door.
The food has been consistently good all these years. I find their food a tad salty but the family loves it. The only complaint I have is that thr waiting is very long. 40 min for the paella and 20-30 min for the mains. Long..
Great Tapas in a very rustic and authentic Catalonian atmosphere, food and service. Barcelona ales great, and waiter was amazing - remembered the entire order...and the next table as well. Will go again, it's popular!
Celebrated wife's bday with awesome friends!
Quaint place with great food and excellent service. We’ll be back soon for sure.
Good reasonable priced food quality maintained in view of many other eateries along same street.
Due small outlet, suggest to book to avoid being turned away.
Authentic Spanish restaurant with tapas and traditional catalonia food. Very good food and wine with good service. However, prices are on the expensive end of the spectrum.
I will recommend my friend with shop My Little Spanish Place those food and wine are very nice both of us are very love it. Thanks for the ChedEdward & with the best food ever, here staff are very friendly ❤ we will visit again here.
Great night here with pretty good tapas. Chorizo not to my liking though. Secreto iberico either. The rest were good. Service was good too. 50+ per pax
Delicious Spanish food. Really enjoyed the patatas bravas and the pork.
Small restaurant,
Food taste nice,
Good service.
Nice Spanish food, a little middle of the road. Try the chorizo which is excellent!
Great dinner! Food and service met elevated expectations.
Fantastic restaurant serving traditional spanish food
It feels like being in Spain
One of the best Spanish restaurants I tried in Singapore.
Tapas and charm. Great date night if you dig tapas
Amazing food. Great ambience.
Food and service are good
I made a reservation for my wedding anniversary and went.
Everything I ate was delicious.
The staff were also kind 🥹💕
I made the paella crispy, but...
It was so delicious. I want to try the moist version next time♪
I was impressed that they prepared a cake for me...
Thank you for the wonderful time! ! ! ❤︎"
I will definitely go again!
Above all, remember to book in advance and at least 24 hours before the grilled sow pig!
Only really good Spanish specialties, especially tapas, paëla, a little below. Expensive wines but you can bring your bottles for a corkage fee which is also a little high!
Lovley quant little restaurant.
