Reviews of Nakhon Kitchen
Affordable Thai restaurant with widespread of dishes to choose from. You can find a authentic thai experience, of cos cannot compare to golden mile side thou. Would not highly recommend but when there's no Q, U may want to try... Not worth for the Q thou...
This is a authentic Thai restaurant that has constantly serve the best Thai cuisine here in Singapore.
The menu offers the usual Thai dishes that are Singaporean favorite. The cooking however, is of another level all together.
Cooked by Thais in the kitchen, the standard is really high. We ordered the Red Snapper in lime and chili and it is as good as you will get it in back in Thailand. 😋
We had the pleasure of visiting them across Singapore (several outlets) and the taste is as constant as their queues. Come early….. prepare to wait and prepare to feast!

Go to place for authentic Thai food.
We ordered Pineapple fried rice, mango salad and stir fried chicken.
They offer good quality Thai food. The portion is sufficient for 2 or more and really value for money. I particularly enjoyed the Basil Pork Fried Rice and the Stir Fried Kang Kung. Shout-out to their Red Ruby because out of so many red ruby desserts that I tried at other Thai restaurants, they offer the cheapest Red Ruby dessert and serve the most generous amount of red ruby. Really enjoyed the lunch.
One of the two popular Thai restaurants on the same stretch of shop houses. Had patronised a few times before. Food is pretty good, with the usual popular dishes.
Had their fried red snapper with mango salad. Was expecting the salad with sauce but it came dry. May be this is the proper way for this dish?
The star was actually the humble kang Kong fried Thai style. Tom Yam Kung turned up as expected.
No fancy dishes here, all down to earth comfy food. Good for family dinner once in a while.
This neighbourhood Thai food spot has been a go-to for a while now, and it never disappoints. The Thai milk tea is not only aesthetic, with visible separation between the milk and tea, but it's also delicious. The tom yum soup has a perfect balance of sourness and spiciness, while the basil chicken and broccoli are both flavourful and cooked to perfection. Best of all, the prices are affordable, making it a great option for a quick and satisfying meal. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!
we spent total of $34 for the whole meal.. portion were just nice for 2pax! There's a long queue after we left, best recommend to drop by before 6pm. 💕
This is so worth it!!! worth the price and the portion!
Service wise: pretty good! food served fast, staff were attentive and friendly.
best recommended : Tom Yum Soup , the spiciness and the sourness were on point and it balanced it well, recommended for people who can take spicy. 👍👍
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 / 5 Stars
Great food and great price, friendly staff. The food here are decently price and well flavoured.
I personally highly recommend the garlic fried pork paired with the chili. Although it is not the kind that melts in your mouth, it had a nice chewing texture which I enjoyed together with rice. Additionally, the zesty chili packs a punch and is suitable for pairing with any of dishes.
However my family were not a big fan of the clam seafood noodles. The taste was ok but the clam shells were sadly all broken into the noodles, making it a little difficult to consume it smoothly.
Nonetheless, was still a great experience!🍾😃
Food quality has dropped from the previous time I was here in 2019… maybe that’s why there wasn’t a crowd during weekend lunch time.
Fishcake and deep-fried squid are not that good. The green curry and fried kangkong are quite okay.
Really always enjoy my visits here. The service is great and the food is always consistently good. Moreover they are very pocket friendly. With the outdoor seating, it’s also pet friendly and the staff were so nice to give us additional stools for my fur baby’s carrier to be placed beside us. Def recommend.
Never fails to impress!
Consistency across all their outlets meant that you get to enjoy good Thai food regardless of which outlet you go!
🥘the kick from the bowl of tomyum soup leaves you wanting more..
🥬kangkong thai style was okay, prefer their belachan one
🍗minced chicken is a new dish for us, and it’s awesome!
🍗fried pork with garlic is well flavoured and fried
🍗pandan leaves chicken is tastefully flavoured as always
🥚the secret item that’s not on the menu : omelette! Always a must have at a Thai restaurant 👍🏻
6 dishes and a drink for $44 and 4 pax, no doubt the best in Singapore in terms of price and quality!
Went there earlier as most if the time the place will be crowded during lunch and especially dinner. The wait for the dishes to be serve is short slightly below 10 minutes . it serve authentic Thai food and even played Thai music and once a while you can even hear honking from the vehicle on the road and you have the feeling that you are in Thailand itself. The food wise is create and not too expensive. One of the best try dishes is the craypot vermicelli with prawn and of course the dessert Car park is conveniently behind the store inside HDB carpark.
Reasonably priced Thai food! There's always a queue here on weekends so if you would like to dine in on weekends, go early to skip the crowd. The Tom Yam soup and Pandan chicken here is great and you should give it a try!! The service here is fast and I would go back again especially during low-crowd hours! Mango sticky rice is not bad, just that the mango is a little small for the amount of rice!
Good Thai food adapted to local taste buds. There is chilli padi in most of the dishes and even mango salad. We ordered green curry (chicken), Tom yum soup (seafood), fried pork knuckle, mango salad, fried shrimp pancake and mango sticky rice. Would recommend to people or locals who are not accustomed to "the heaviness" of certain Thai food. Thumbs up for service!
Great Thai food! But slightly pricey but still affordable. Fish was steamed well and sauce compliment it well. The pad thai is good too and not salty like most other places! Highly recommended for those in the area.
Not bad. Definitely not the best Thai meal I have had, but the price point is very reasonable with many dishes in the $6-$10 range. Good environment and customer service too.
Had eaten here some time back, only just review today. Happen to be there quite late and there wasn’t any queue, so we decide to give it a try, I always like Thai food and the didn’t disappoint. Both food and service is good. Worth mention is the pandan chicken and Kang Kong.
Good and affordable thai food, short waiting time, good food, friendly service staff (will explain to you what the dishes taste like if you are new to the cuisine), reasonable/big portions, cooling, clean.
One of the places that will come to my mind when craving thai food.
Dishes are tasty, spicy and tangy. Fried glass noodles has a good balance of seafood. Phad thai is on the sweet side. We also enjoyed the creamy tom yam soup, rich, sour and spicy in a good way! Iced green milk tea is not overly sweet to extinguish any spice 'fires' especially after the meal.
This restaurant is very popular, if you want to try on the weekends during the meal times, you usually have to queue for a while, there are several outlets in Singapore already
We usually order 6-8 dishes for my family of 4 pax, and only cost around 60 dollars, so full and satisfied
Strongly recommend their green curry, seafood pancake, pandan leave chicken... Actually we love all their dishes and come to this restaurant almost every quarter.
Wondeful value for money thai food. Very reasonable prices, friendly service staff and ample parking available at nearby HDb lots. Wide menu choice and food is served fast. Expect to wait if you go there during lunch or dinner. The wait is worth it
Super authentic Thai food! The clear seafood soup is so addictive! Basil minced pork is one of the popular dish too. Rmb to order the Thai style milk tea 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 come early to queue cuz they don't accept reservation. You don't need to wait for long for the food. It's a must try if u like Thai food.
Food was not too bad. Ordered the prawn tang Hoon. Overall taste is good, but prawns are not fresh.
Best Thai food, try the steam fish (lemon garlic), veg options available in request for Green curry. Minced chicken is out of the world. Finish it with Red Ruby.
Cash only
I thought it surprised me with the experience which I had many years ago. Now, not anymore. I have tasted better ones even in the hawker center. If you are nearby and got nothing better to eat then try it, otherwise eat near your home.
My go-to place for reliable, consistently satisfying, very well-priced authentic Thai food. Must-have is always the Tom Kha Talay, very fragrant with coconut milk and yet not as fiery as Tom Yum. Red Rubies dessert full of those delicious jeweled water chestnut gems. Cash only.
Not too busy later on a Friday night which was nice. Food came out quick and hot. The pandan chicken was moist and flavorful. Salted egg yolk long beans was nice as well. Overall really enjoyed the food and prices were fair. Definitely recommend.
Excellent value. Good thai food in a basic eatery hence prices are Low. Super busy and expect to queue to sit although they now do take away. Chicken wings nice and spicy level great
Everything is good except for their daily deliveries of goods… Delivery guys deliver goods so wee timings, making so much noises during sleeping timings, staffs make so much noises after closing timing… Don’t their boss tell them to be courteous & have some mannerisms… Don’t they know that people need to sleep & next day have to wake up early for their work… I hope the owner & the boss can teach & put some senses in them
Very much bang for the buck!
But it doesnt mean the food is amazingly special tasty, good and fresh. I would visit again for sure!
Best Thai food! Must try the tomyam (thick base).
Food is good but not sure why they stopped serving complementary plain water, which makes Nangfa Thai beside more stand out as compared to this.
Tried their mango sticky rice only and it was good. Costs $5. Will go back to try more varieties.
Awesome food, awesome service, great price great value! Do remember to go early for dinner, cos queue starts to grow from 630pm.
Authentic and good food and good place
Try to reach before 6pm if you are heading there for dinner.
Portions are quite small for approx $6-$9 a dish. Got to try the Mango salad fried fish, was really good!
Affordable Thai fare that is tasty and consistent. Everything on the menu is generally a safe bet that is above average in taste to the Singaporean palette.
Good service, and good food, though a little less spicy than I was expecting!
Affordable restaurant, friendly service.
We did a takeaway as there were long queues even at six-ish in the evening. So be prepared to wait if you want to eat in! All the dishes we ordered were tasty - pineapple fried rice, green curry chicken and prawn, kangkong with belachan, etc. Service was organised too. I would normally have dropped one star if any outlet had such a long wait, but I do see that they are already as efficient as possible given the space constraints.
Pros: reasonably priced Thai food, if no queue/crowd and you have full attention of the kitchen.
Cons: 1) the queue, oh man, when food is reasonably good value for money, crowd gathers. Before you know it quality of and service drop will inevitably drop as they can't cope; 2) don't go for drinks as each costs almost half to 2/3rd of a typical dish over there
Food is good. Abt 630+ the queue starts. But the staff will come take your order while you wait to improve efficiency. Good neighborhood Thai food.
I have not try any from this Thai food before for many years but it is not difficulty to tell the popularity of the food. Not long ago another app beside it have been covered into F&B biz too, I thought the owner expanded his/her business and took over the shop next to it since have such good business. Since the shop beside started, more ppl are visiting and queuing! Singaporean really love foods! Lately I found out these 2 shops are not owner by same owner! I should try out one of these days :P
Amazing food! We go there several times a week. Sometimes takes a bit to prepare the food, but it always comes out super tasty! Can recommend their phad thai, tom yam soup, pineapple rice and also tom yam fried rice! Staff is also super friendly and can make vegetarian versions of the dishes easily! Really great place
Great food as always
Quite authentic food although catering for local tastes. Pineapple rice had Chinese sausage - duh. Dessert was good. Service was attentive, place can be crowded.
Reliable Thai food. Regular order includes the red tom yam and fried fish with Thai chilli.
As with the outlet at Marine Parade, the food and service is excellent, but it also gets busy. We had green curry chicken, as usual, deep fried sea bass, spicy kang kong, steamed rice followed by sticky rice and mango - all for only $48!
Tried it once with my family and be ready for the insane long dinner queues especially on weekends! Nakhon Kitchen's cuisine isn't that tasty however it is really value for money with good range of Thai food offered.
The tip is to come before 530pm to secure your seats to avoid the long waiting time.
It's Thai food. At Cafe prices. Portion is cute and manageable. The dessert is not quite value for money. Main dishes will be the steamed fish, green curry and tomyam soup. Goes well with white rice.
Have always been a fan of Nakhon - food is authentic and though queue is always long, the wait didn’t take long. But with the recent Circuit Breaker, it’s only open for take away. So my husband ordered at 3pm and said will pick up at 530pm. Their operation is from 12-3pm, 530pm onwards for dinner. Our order is still not ready yet by 610pm and there are many more people ahead of us. What’s the point of ordering ahead right? There needs to be a system here cos if the circuit breaker were to extend and this goes on, I’m not too sure about the sustainability of this place.
Very authentic food! Steamed fish was to die for, pandan chicken literally melts in your mouth. busy place with good vibe. Such a good meal for 3 that costs 50 bucks, yess way!
Thai Food is authentic and reasonable price . Service is also good and friendly staff . Always go to this place for Thai dishes . Highly recommended. Aroy means delicious.
If you love Thai food, you'll love Nakon Thai! One of the most authentic Thai flavours you'll find in Singapore.
Always a delight coming to nakhon kitchen. The tomyum soup is as authentic as it gets, coupled with fried chicken with garlic is an absolute crowd pleaser. Top it off with red rubies for that Thai closure.
Sure this is good...so many different dishes to always try on the next return. Almost reminds me of Krabi. Staff are always great as well.
Not sure why they haven't gone cashless though 🤔
Authentic Thai Food. The fish cakes are the best I have eaten so far. Go early, queue build up during dinner time.
Generally good food. Green chicken curry wasnt up to standard. Dry otah was bland. Squid was wonderful.
Pretty good location with no ice Thai food. It gets busy so get there early
Food tastes generally good and reasonably price. Try to arrive before 7pm as the queue can get quite long after that; partly due to limited seatings.
I like the food always, services was fast and the dishes are very authentic. It was abit cramp and hot but I will definitely come back again. Keep up the good work.
The mango sticky rice & thai milk tea was good! Must try!!👍🏼
Great Thai food for a reasonable price. Staffs are very friendly and their services is good as well.
Affordable priced authentic Thai food, excellent located with ample parking facilities! Great for family gathering to romantic dinners!
Been to this place many times but it seems like the taste of their dishes have depleted tremendoulsy. Service is still as good. What happened? ):
Absolutely one of the best Thai food in Singapore!!! Been here for several times now and service and food is outstanding!!! 😏😍
Great little Thai place. Good value for money. Gets crowded and be prepared to wait. Turnover is quite fast though
Always a great place to visit. Affordable food that does not compromise quality
My go to thai restaurant!! Affordable and delicious! Thank you for the great service as well!
Sunday dinner time service super fast, seems that when an outlet has more people the food is better
Overall good, the fish has no meat, the Thai milk is delicious, and the mango sticky rice is delicious
A very delicious Thai restaurant with a high CP value~~Some dishes are quite spicy~~
Typical Thai dishes are also delicious, mostly with a spicy chili taste. Suitable if you like spicy things.
The place is not big, the food is delicious and authentic, and the service is very attentive
Be careful as there are some that are close to the real taste but are spicier.
