Reviews of Nanami Izakaya
Had the tonkatsu curry rice. Curry was delicious but i find the tonkatsu too fatty and tough to chew. Set comes with salad and miso soup.
A small restaurant located behind Icon Village. Tried the Maze Soba and it was tasty and portion was just nice. For $10.90++, the soba lunch set comes with free flow green tea, salad and miso soup. A cosy place with indoor and outdoor seating. The service was good and the waitress keeps helping us to top up the green tea without us asking.
A decent lunch on Sunday, good ambient with izakaya feel if you like. Came here with promo so it was worth to try out. Will come again if nearby. Staffs are friendly and helpful, seats are still not many due to safety distancing, but we just waited for a while only.
Great selection of dishes and it was not so saltish ! The deep fried crumbs shisamo fish was fantastic ! Prices reasonable . Try the fish carpaccios - fresh !!
Fried udon, teppanyaki beef, and skewers are all very delicious. The environment is great and the service staff are very nice and took great care of us! Highly recommended. Will definitely come back again!
It was a small shop with outside seatings. Average customer service. Crab cream croquette doesn’t have any visible crab meat which disappointed me but to my surprise the taste is quite good. Next, the yakitori was quite tender and savoury (nearly though not reaching my favourite place Nanbantei). Ordered a few types of sashimi which was quite fresh and sweet. The oysters were creamy and sweet - only downside is it lacks the usual salty taste of oyster which makes it incomplete. Unagi was quite average though would have like it if slightly more crispy on the skin. The chicken hotpot was also quite good with fresh vegetables. All in all, there wasn’t a single superb dish but also not much letdowns. Would recommend coming once to support them.
Small cosy place, great service from the team, good food and good spread of food. Everything we ordered was pretty good and didn't disappoint.
Recommended place to have dinner and drinks.
Came here for lunch on a weekday. Can’t use entertainer app discount as they only serve set meals and not ala carte. Only one staff serving everyone, she tries her best though.
Ordered the chicken karaage don and teriyaki don, both $9.90+, much prefer chicken karaage as it’s nicely fried and crispy yet very very juicy inside. Could have provided more rice though. Glad for some cabbages in the bowl. Hot/ice green tea is complimentary.
If you love free flow alcohol they have a $45 for 2 hours thing going on. Quite a small place that spans two shops so might be good to reserve if they allow
It’s my virgin Eihire, and it’s amazing. This dried stingray fin — thoughtfully warmed up — has a nice bite to it, and while it’s dried, the meat comes with a surprise hint of moisture.
The sashimi plate is super fresh, special shout-out to the Tai, thinly sliced to translucency.
The kaarage may not look like much, but it’s the perfect crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
The condensed milk that came with the cheese potato mochi is a little odd for me (I prefer my sweet and savory to be separated).
My work pal and I shared a warm sake 久保田, and it’s exactly what we needed after a long week at work.
Cozy, cheaper alternative to Public izakaya. Enjoyed the food here especially the gyoza. Yebisu draft was awesome. And they dont charge GST which is a big plus.
Fresh and sweet scallop sashimi, prompt service, FREE iced waters, skewers that are not overly salty. Overall great stuff, would come again.
Randomly found this place to try, we found the food being a bit too salty for our liking.
Our Good Food Wednesday Tanjong Pagar, 1st stop.
Much better then expection and better than the Public Izakaya…. Will come again!
Yaki Udon ($12) is a full-sized plate, good for sharing. Cheese Mentaiko Croquette ($9) is perfectly crisp and fluffy. Chicken Skin ($3) is crispy and fatty and sinful. Yaki Gyoza ($7) and Takoyaki ($7) were good too. Reasonably priced highballs at $8.80. A nice little find in the CBD.
(Steak cubes ($18) were a little underdone and chewy, I might not order that again.)
Food is decent and friendly service staff!
Good service. Used entertainer app for a deal
Staff were friendly; their collection of drinks was wide. Might come back to try their food soon!
Small restaurant with authentic Japanese feel. Ordered the borachirashi don and aburi salmon don. Well worth the price, especially with eatigo discount.
Second time here. Great staff. Great service. Good food at Reasonable prices. Cheap drinks. Great place to hangout with friends
Friendly service with a warm smile... food is very decent. Great place to chill with friends over bites & drinks. I'll be back.
One of the most value for money restaurants I've been to while using eatigo. The fish for the barachirashi is very fresh.
One of the best places to chill and grab a few pints before heading home. Cozy and has a delicious menu.
No frills Japanese place with cheaper sake then some other places
Very Good!
Nice food with great beer
Relaxing atmosphere with great food and beer. Boni and Jervis were friendly and professional.
Worth the money for sure
Great food, awesome service and try the new beer!
Really cozy and yummy izakaya serving eats and drinks at great value!
Delicious food with very reasonable price, waiting time for food was a bit long..
The BEST izakaya in Singapore !!! Authentic, reminds me of years in Tokyo!!
Will be back!
Authentic wafu taste. And reasonable price.
Prompt service, friendly staff, good for a quiet dinner
Cosy easy after work izakaya
quiet and comfortable shop
Nice
macdolands
It looks like the discount at Eatigo is no longer available.
If so, I guess it's a little expensive.
I deducted a star. (2021Aug)

Revisited. It's cheap after all
But if you taste the food well
I guess it's local Japanese cuisine after all.
Shishamo: Almost Japanese
Mackerel grilled: Next is faithful, but still frozen
Tempura: The tempura sauce is unique. ginger?
Fried tofu; tofu is very square
Yakitori; Teriyaki sauce
California roll: This doesn't have vinegared rice at all.
I wonder if I can enjoy it with something other than sushi.
......
An izakaya restaurant with more than half of it on the street. It's a great deal when the beer is cheap and the food is half price. (About 20% off, the price of a regular Singaporean izakaya)
However, if you are not seated inside, it will be quite hot.
When it gets crowded, the service is unusually slow.
Other than these two points, this is the best izakaya in Singapore.
The taste isn't bad either. It has a taste that can attract customers even in Japan. The service is also extremely friendly.
The store staff are friendly.
