Date of visit: Fri 26 July 2024 Time : 12 pm First time here. Only walk-in no reservations allowed. About 2 or 3 tables already seated. Place pretty small. Ordered Set 1 priced at $87 : prime beef, pork belly piece and sesame balls. They will roll up the sesame rice mixture into rice balls for you or you DIY. They also help to BBQ the meats for us. The beef is excellent. The rice balls as well. The pork belly soso. We didn’t finish the pickle side dishes. Free small cup of Haagen Daz ice-cream is complimentary. Overall, service is excellent.

Nice food and a good variety of side dishes. The banchan I like the most is the sweet potato which is so mushy and yummy. Complimentary cold water is served just like in an authentic Korean restaurant. Prices are on the high side though.

It’s been awhile since i had obba bbq, and it was so nice! All the food is so delicious and I highly recommend the chapjae and pancake! There is this side dish- vinegar scallion salad tasted super good. The staff will help to grill the meat and I have to say that the meat was great as well. So satisfying. Lastly there is free haagen dazs ice cream before you left the restaurant. Hope they can allow to have in the restaurant instead the during my next visit.

Great service, tasty food. Order the $88 pork set for family. Pork were fresh & flavourful. Free flow side dishes with quick refill. Set comes with steam egg & we choose Jjampon which came with chewy noodles, fresh seafood & tasty soup. Staffs were friendly & attentive. Free Haagen-Dazs ice cream too after meal. Highly Recommended!

First time visiting. Enter your phone number at the queue kiosk when you reached the shop. Check the queue via their whatsapp number and wait for staff to call you in. Scan the qr code at your table to order via the online menu. Submit your order and the drinks will be brought out almost immediately. My party of 2 ordered the Set C which consist of beef and pork for bbq, it comes with a choice between the selected stews or noodles (we chose jjajangmyeon) and a small gyeran jjim. I liked the bbq pork belly, pork ribs as these were the fattier cuts. Oh, there's also 2 pieces of cheese included in the grill. First time trying that as well. Thank you to the oppa who helped us to grill the meats. For side dishes, my fav were the kimchi and apple salad. For drinks, I had the Chungha Sparkling and it was nicely sweet. After your meal, make payment at the cashier and one could take the complimentary ice-cream to eat outside. We were super stuffed after enjoying the set.

One of the best Korean BBQ places I've been. Long wait to get in (we had 9 guests so you can understand why) but definitely worth the wait! The starters were generous and when the waitress saw my nephew enjoying the kimchi soo much, she brought another plate just for him! The pictures will tell you the whole story!

Black bean sauce noodles is good, tasty. Steam egg is too dry. Marinated beef and pork are good but slice beef was disappointing as it’s really tough to chew. Very good customer service and friendly stuff. Appx SGD90 for the meal.

I don't even like the jjajang in Korea but I liked this. The service here is super good and the lady who served us should get a promotion to manager or something because our experience would not have been as good without her. MANAGEMENT PLEASE READ. Don't ever let this woman go because your business won't be the same without her. kimbap was subpar. This place though. Hair ties and bibs provided, listerine in the toilet. Restaurants in SG need to learn from this place because they are doing something right. Love it. 9/10

I really enjoyed eating at this outlet, the service is great, and the food is great!!! Will definitely return again. Am also thrilled that the portion sizes are generous (which is a bit plus in this shrinkflating food economy). We ordered a meal for 2 and had leftovers to bring home! The servers also took a lot of initiative in clearing our plates, refilling our banchan, and offering me an apron as I was wearing white.

The staff here are very friendly especially Daniel. Daniel always greet us with warm welcome smiling face and attend to our needs efficiently. We went there to celebrate our friend's birthday. It's one of the best and authentic korean bbq restaurant in singapore. Must try : pork jowl, tofu stew (soondobu jjigae). Service was good and they always make you feel welcomed and the best part of all is their staff will help to grill the meat for you 👍

We had a farewell lunch with friends at this branch and the food was amazing! We came for the opening time (11:30am) for lunch and the queue was already quite long. So recommend to go earlier if you want to get in right after the restaurant is open. The service was really good - We ordered recommended (must try) beef set and pork set2, jaengban seafood jjajang (I think this is the best taste out of all oppa branches) for 3 men and 1 lady - it was more than enough portion for all four of us! The food set up was fast probably because we were the first ones that got the table, but the staff who cooked our meat for us made the food even better!!! As a korean, I am satisfied with the meat and the other dishes as well. Totally recommend for you to go for lunch with your friends👍🏻 Ps. The free ice cream after meal service is awesome too! It’s hagen-daz mini-ice cream that they are offering🥰

Long day for the staff but they still served w pride and enthusiasm. Queue was ling but very well managed. We were a group of 11 and food came at a very good pace upon order. Very authentic Korean BBQ lunch set! Which we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed for 35$ per pax. Great attentive service and tasty beef and pork slices! Conveniently located along cheong Chin nam road and looks very busy with Korean patrons! They don’t take reservations so please arrive early. Enjoy !

I forgot how good this place was (it’s been a while). Most kbbq places kinda taste the same ish but this is a clear cut above the rest - flawless meat grill execution, fantastic condiments / many side dishes, impeccable service!! Visited yesterday for dinner. Arrived slightly after 630pm, was informed by the very apologetic staff that waiting time will be around 30 to 40 mins. Took my queue number and waited. Within 15 minutes, the staff called to notify that a table is available and whether I would still be going over. Ordered the pork BBQ set for 2 - 3 pax, the Jokbal + Bossam combo and Tang Suk Yuk. The BBQ set comes with a soup and steamed eggs, but more importantly, the staff will attentively grill the meat while replenishing any side dishes that are running out. The meat tasted really good without any smell, tender, juicy and satisfying. The highlight for me was the jokbal and bossam. The additional condiments and side-dishes accompanying the dish just give it that extra ceremonial oommpf. Although both are cuts from the trotter and belly, the taste was light and not at all greasy. As per mentioned by many reviews here, the service is really something that sets this shop apart from their competitors along the same stretch of road. Do try and not be intimidated by the waiting time!

In the past I always tried instant jjajangmyeon to know how it tastes really like, but it is always a horror for me because it just tastes weird. Ever since I tried Obba Jjajangmyeon, Im in love with it and often head all the way to here although I stay at North-East area. Food was great, free flow side dishes and atmosphere are all on point as well. Even their service was best too. Exactly last month ago, The car (My sis's) that I drove there half way tire puncture. When I was about to leave the place, passerby stopped and suggests that I should not drive further although petrol is just 2 min away. I was lost and this was my first time encounter such incident hence after contacting with my sister knowing that I have a spare tire at the car boot, I tried for awhile to change the tire on my own. As I do not have any experience, it was too hard for me to unscrew and get the tire changed. Two of OBBA jjajang korean service staffs walk pass and one of them offer to help 🥹🥺 I was extremely grateful and feeling embarrassed for not being able to do much. After the hard work, I was finally able to drive it to the nearest tire shop to get my tire fixed. Just want to share my experience that I had and O.BBa jjajang defiantly deserve a 5 stars review for the food and service they have. ❤️ It would be even better if their side dishes are always different too 😋

I recently had the pleasure of dining at o.bba jjajang & BBQ and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The charcoal BBQ added a delicious smoky flavor to all the meats, which were incredibly tasty. What truly stood out to me was the excellent service provided by the brand manager, a handsome Korean guy who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top-notch. Not only did he take care of us adults, but he also made sure the kids were happy and well taken care of. As if the great food and service weren't enough, they even offer free Häagen-Dazs ice cream, which was a delightful treat to end the meal. Overall, o.bba jjajang & BBQ is a fantastic place for families and friends to enjoy authentic Korean food in a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

My favorite place for the best Jjajangmyeon, Jjamppong and Tangsuyuk set. As always, the portion is great, and jjajangmyeon is so tangy and savory, but my favorite is jjamppong. Jjamppong is loaded with seafood, has generous portions, and boasts a spicy yet deeply flavorful soup. Tangsuyuk is so chewy, crispy and delicious. The service is always top-notch! OBBa is the best Korean restaurant in Singapore!

One of the authentic Korean restaurants in the vicinity. Staff is mostly Korean. The jjajangmyeon was sweet I'm taste and chewy in texture. Korean stew was delicious and reliable. Tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) was a little too sweet but tasted authentic.

Service is good and food is great. We used to patronize Seorae at JEM but chanced upon this yesterday. The waiters and waitresses here are attentive and friendly. We ordered their $59 set and especially love their marinated and 2mm pork. This place is popular and parking is also a challenge during peak hours. We went in when it opened at 11.30am for lunch.

They’re always busy but the food is good. My go to order is always the jjajang myeon - probably the best around here! Even when it’s take out, the restaurant packs the food nicely and there are instructions on how to heat up some of them. The banchan is also be included.

However, limited car parking might require certain waiting time. Ventilation will need to improve, the indoor bbq will leave clothes and hair smelling of smoke meat.

Got the 돼치한마리 (Pork) BBQ set for 4 pax and it was just nice. It came with 5 plates of different pork slices, steam eggs, one choice of noodle (seafood jjampong), pancake (kimchi cheese pancake) & one packet of their o.bba jjajang instant jajangmyeon including! Never failed to impress me, the service and food quality was up there 👍🏻

Go for set C combination of pork and beef. Comes with kimchi soup and baked egg. Quite a handful of side dishes to go allow. I find price almost 20% cheaper than my regular visit restaurant at Jurong east. Great food. Will go again.

First visit here just tried the set A inclusive of sweet and sour pork, jajiang noodles and seafood noodles in a set which is very worth for 2-3 persons share only cost $48.. The seafood, didn't expect such a big bowl with noodles below also and because have another bowl of jajiang mian plus sweet and sour pork in set, too filling for both of us that nearly cannot finish because we are not big eaters... Rate as follows: 3.5* for Jjajang myeon 2* for fried pork - because dislike this kind of thick starchy flour and too rubbery with little meat that too chewy for me but the sweet sour sauce ok.. 3* for seafood noodles - too much noodles but good for 3 small eater sharing for set A

The place is packed during peak hours so do arrive early if you want to get a seat. The jjajangmyeon is great, like the best Ive eaten so far and value for money. Tangsuyuk tastes like those sweet and sour pork you can get at caifan stall and seafood pancake taste normal but I think both are too pricey. Will return for the noodle!

Ordered the pork set (~$59++) and that is definitely enough for 2 pax, but we still gey kiang and order jjajang myeon, sooo full 😕 Love the free flow side dishes and the staffs were not stingy about them as well! Queued for ~50mins (thank u to le bf for queuing for me 😉). Highly recommend and I’ll be back!

Had to dock a star off because we tried to call ahead and reserve a table and was unable to do so due to a language barrier. Would advise that the managers have both korean and English speaking staff available on the phone line.

The beef is super tender and the servers are very attentive even during a full house situation. Portion is pretty worth it for the price. Only issue was that the soondubu that came with the set wasn't piping hot and the dubu was cold in the middle. Nice food but steam egg was a bit overcooked, had a burnt taste. Service was great! Requested to pack away left over pancake and the service staff provided a new pack of sauce with the takeaway. Wait wasn't too long, came on a PH lunch and waited less than 15 mins. Music is a bit too loud though, difficult to hear conversation even from someone just sitting opposite the table.

Quality of food is consistent across all outlets. Attentive and friendly service staff; they noticed our side dishes were empty and were quick in offering refills for us without having to ask. We were offered a yakult drink at the end of the meal and this reminded us of the hospitality of a typical restaurant in Korea.

The Jjajangmyeon set is really worth trying. You can eat your fill for $20. The employees don't speak Korean, but the manager is Korean, so even people who aren't good at English have no trouble communicating. I've always heard about this store, but I never knew it opened near my house. It's really convenient.
