Reviews of Paofan Paradise 泡饭天-T.K Kitchen
Heard of their $38 Lobster Hotpot. Sounds unbelievable, so come try try. This $38 lobster hotpot is the ultimate steal – you don't just get one huge lobster, you get FIVE, and there's still ton of clams in the pot!!!! You think that's all? Just wait until you taste the broth - it's subtly sweet with a crustacean flavor that'll hook you!
But wait, the real magic happens now – you get to pair the pot with meat, seafood, veggies, and other hotpot must-haves!
In addition to this lobster hotpot they offer other signature dishes such as Lala Pot, Flowercrab Paofan, Ginseng Chicken Paofan, Curry Fishhead, and various Zi Char options. But I haven't try before.
Tried the Pao Fan Seafood pot. Yummy!
The serving portion was generous. The seafood was assembled by flower crab, prawn, scallop and lala. The soup that married the seafood was wonderful. It has a flavourful delight of light butter, sweetness and just got better when you eat. Unlike some others which the soup may taste nice, you feel "gelat" after a while. The Tk version here the soup remained lustful to your taste butts.
Well enough said... go try yourself.
Oh the price is also reasonable. Paid $40 for the Seafood Pao Fan.
Their lobster hotpot is legend. saw lccy98 tiktok content, 300k+ views, like power leh. $38 for 5 lobsters is no horse run, some others 38 only got 虾 no 龙虾, so cannot hiam liao. When I drink the broth, I can feel my 灵魂 go out 散步. Got the 花雕酒 and the 高粱酒 香味 inside, give u 自我陶醉. Then they still got side dish u can dip into the broth, is solid until cannot.
Generally, kopitiam is clean. Then u eat at kopitiam of coz the atmosphere cannot expect like u eat at mbs or fine dining restaurant ma.
Flowercrab Paofan was phenomenal! Very flavourful and tasty. Seafood ingredients were fresh! Definitely a must to order !
Flavourful soup esp with added wine! Ingredients are fresh too. Recommended.
Ordered the chicken & tripe pao fan. Cooked in ginseng topped with puffed rice. The portion is good for 3-4 people. Tried the fragrance chicken and stir fried vegetables also. Loved the food. If you are at the Pandan reservoir for exercise, you can easily end it here with a great meal.
Went there to try due to the numerous positive reviews by bloggers. Especially food King.
Overall. Food is average. Not expensive.
Ambience is run down.
The pao fan is an over hype. Due to the broth not flavourful enough.
Best dish of the day. Red wine pork.
Ordered flower crab paofan ($38) and prawn paste chicken ($12). Good tasting broth for paofan and generous amount of chicken for chicken.
Some downside is the seafood ingredients are not fresh, prawn is so rubbery. Also very costly at $38. Good to try but don’t think I’ll be back soon as I think they’re many paofan that are cheaper with better ingredients in the food scene now.
Great Paofan on the west side. I tried the flowercrab paofan and the ginseng chicken, both were nice ! Love their wine ribs as well, quite yummy ! Rest of the dishes are hit or miss
The red wine pork rib is tender. But the red wine taste is not consistent on every single piece. Some have stronger taste.
The pao fan for me is okay only. The soup not thick enough. Only until the last portion the flavour of the soup comes out.
Ginseng chicken paofan $35
1 slow cooked chicken, fried rice in a claypot of herbal ingredients.
Good for 3pax tho advertised for 2
Best shared with >2 pax and order side dishes such as red wine pork ribs and daily specials.
Came to try the famous pao fan and pork ribs with family. Certainly live up to its reputation - everyone was fun of praise for the food, and a revisit is already in the pipelines. Keep it up!
Had trouble locating as we were looking for big logo paodan something 😂. It’s actually tucked inside a corner coffee shop under Blk 37, TK zhichar stall. One bowl can serve 2 to 3 pax. Tried the flower crab, we like the taste 🤤
If you want to take the order, have the decency to let customers know how long it takes for the food to be served. Bloody tabao one pack of food need 30mins because it's more convenient to cook with another order. It would take a lot to convince me to return.
Update: If you had indeed as you claimed to have notified me of 30min waiting time and I ordered, do you really think I would write this review? Nevertheless I will help you out. Just suggesting for things to be done better. Perhaps a display that you can flip over the ordering counter when orders get too many.
Take away the XO Fish paofan. Very nice, & worth the $45 (+$1 for boxes). Has equivalent of a very fresh whole Ang-ko-li fish. Good for 4 full assembled portions.
Food is nice and price very reasonable. But must wait quite a while and long queue. Must go over earlier to avoid too long waiting time
Good quality zi char in the west. Be prepared to wait for at least an hour if going during prime dining time.
Food is average. Good to try out but won’t come all the way here just for the food.
Butter squid wasn’t good. Too much flour. You can hardly find the squid in it.
Love the ginseng chicken pao fan and tze char. A satisfying meal indeed! Recommended!
Came back a few times alrdy, the flamming red wine ribs is the best
Tried the Claypot Noodle, back to basic and ingredients were generous for $9 !
Great food, excellent service. Will definitely come back for more. 👍👍👍
Great food and wonderful people from Paofan Paradise! Ordering was simple and quick responses from the team with after food checks!
We loved the ginseng chicken paofan and the signature seafood paofan was awesome too!!
Very very disappointed
All the way from the east to try the dish n was told they close on 3pm n open at 4pm again but didn't update on their operating hours, this was last Sunday.
Today I purposely come early at 2.15pm but was told they're close until 4pm by the worker,I was very upset n tell them they ask me come before 3pm last week but they say ya but their last order is 2.45pm but I check the time is only 2.15pm n they insist they won't take order anymore because they had already off the light n I'm not alone, there are another couple left disappointed also.
Sorry although I never hv the chance to taste ur food but Sorry to say that even ur food taste super nice but with this kind of management u won't go far, trust me thks.
Reasonable price. Boss is friendly. Coffeshop is rather rundown though. Some upgrading work needs to be done for better dining experience.
Good Pork Ribs, ginseng chicken pao fun - for consumers who love not too overpowering/strong ginseng chicken taste
Great food that comes with a long wait. Must haves are either the 蟹 or 鸡 泡饭.
The food is good & fresh. Better to takeaway as sitting space may be scarce on weekends.
Tasty and delicious pai fan.
The boss is super friendly and sincere... The food is nice... Value for money..
Flower Crab Pao Fan is just amazing!!
