The main star of the dish is definitely the chili, which is generously served. Tried original with level 10 and 12 - 12 was too one-dimensionally hot, while 10 has the right balance of spiciness (runny nose and sweat at the back of your neck kind) and flavour.

I love their Trio Sambal so much! I started with level 7 for the spiciness level, then decrease to 5, and now I’m at 3. I would be ashamed if i have to go lower haha.. if you love spicy food, you have to try this place! The chilli is good and the chicken is tender. I love to add the chicken wings as well. Love them!!!

They have this special Ayam Geprek Nasi Goreng which you can't find at other places.. No regrets trying it, really delicious and good customer service! Will return for more!

Very hot and spicy chilli. And the good thing is that you could customise your chilli level. Honestly the fluffy rice and the egg are the best. Chicken is just average though.

Had the original with level 10 and the green chili one. Right quality for the price. Some pieces of fried chicken are slightly crispy but others are not. Over-ally ok.

Was pleasantly surprised with Papa ayam. Colleagues wanted to eat here. I normally don’t like to eat ayam penyet because of the bones etc. and I cannot take too much spice. Papa Ayam has solved that as they help to ‘peel’ the chicken for you and you can choose the level of spicyness. Perfect! Had their indomee/rice combo box. Comfort food at its best. Will def return for a second round. Pls open one store in the WEST!!

Crazy delicious Ayam Geprek. Had mine with nasi goreng which was also pretty good. Cashier and cook team were all smiling and happy, which is always nice. Tables and chairs all a little ratty but it's really an eat&go stall, so wasn't a problem for me. Food note: The signature garlic sambal is customizable. At level 1, it's a mild tang with a hint of heat. It isn't spicy at all. At level 15, good luck!

Ordered original ayam geprek with level 15 spicy. The sambal tastes a bit off; it's not very spicy (tastes like level 5) and sour. Kinda tastes like the sambal has gone off. It's either that or there was too much tomatoes, maybe. Disappointing. I'll stick to the Somerset branch in the future. Rice portion is nice and big. Sambal matah tastes good; tasty and fresh. Great and tasty! Sambal is so good and have level of spiciness so suit me because I don’t like spicy and can just order level 1/2 spiciness. Recommended!

We feel very blessed to have Papa Ayam so that we can have sate taichan in Singapore! The sambal for taichan is very fresh and on point. If it can be a bit more spicy and they use some MSG/Totole on the chicken, it will be completely an original taichan. Tried the sambal matah version as well. Again, it's very on point. Very good.

The portions are very reasonable for the price and the food is quite tasty, but the stand out ingredient is the sambal. Goes wonderfully with the chicken, and definitely spicy enough if you desire it so.
