Reviews of Paradise Pizza & Elixir Coffee and Wine - Holland
Had a quick dinner with a friend here as it was relatively near where I stayed. Ambience was comfortable and chill. Staff were pretty polite and friendly too.
They had a happy hour 1 for 1 beer or wine, during dinner time, which was nice.
Highlight of the night was the Lemon Butter pasta. Not too heavy, but also works well to whet your appetite.
Their tiramisu at the end was also superb. Had distinct coffee flavour, with a light cream topping. Wouldn’t mind coming back again!
From pizza , pasta, delicious appetizers and desserts are served at this beautiful Italian restaurant. Their pizzas are freshly made upon order using 48-hour fermented sourdough. Served enticingly with crispy leopard-spotted crusts, chewy interiors, and creative toppings. 👍🏻🤩
We recommend; 😋
🧀 DEEP FRIED BURRATA
🍕 BISMARK BLANC
🍮 DARN GOOD TIRAMISU
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Paradise Pizza. Tucked away in the quiet residence of Parksuites, it serves up their unique twist of Italian cuisine. The highlight for us was the deep fried burrata, topped with balsamic pearls for an all-rounded texture and flavour. Will surely be back to try the other items on their menu as they look so appealing.
A nice quaint pizza and coffee place (though I didn’t have coffee) below some low rise condo. Nice neighbourhood feel.
I liked the wagyu bolognese as it was fragrant and the taste was nice and balanced. Pizza with the sourdough is good too my first time having a white pizza. The prosciutto crunch was not over done. The tiramisu was good to end the meal.
Nice pleasant experience. This place closes earlier than most at 9pm.
Came here on a weekday night as a group of four.
We like that their dishes had a little influence from other cuisines, not too much but enough to make them exciting and accessible.
Their pizzas were really good, the dough was fluffy but had a nice crispy texture. Only feedback was to add just a little bit more toppings.
The only dish we didn’t like were the chicken wings. The batter didn’t really stick to the wings, and it was too thick. The peanut butter was a bit overwhelming too.
We will be back for both pizzas and brunch!
Really a cozy and hidden gem to dine! I can for the dining city 38++ 3 course dinner.
So worth it!
Peach salad is soo good.
Pizza is great with the nice amount of charred crust. I enjoy the dessert the most. their Tiramisu is really amazing 😆.
Cozy pizza place at Holland Grove!
We started off with the Fried Burrata and got the Bismarck Blanc Pizza and Burrata Pomodoro pasta to share. The deep-fried burrata was a great starter — crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. I especially enjoyed the burst of balsamic pearls with the pomodoro sauce, which paired perfectly with the cheese.
The Bismarck Blanc pizza was my personal favorite. The sous-vide egg, cheese, and ham went so well with the sourdough crust, making for a hearty mix of flavors in every bite. It also felt lighter compared to regular pizzas, which I really appreciated.
We finished with their tiramisu, the perfect way to wrap up the meal. It was just the right amount of light and creamy. Overall, it was a delicious and satisfying experience, with great ambiance and service. Would recommend!
Really comfy vibes and great food! Their Burrata is really really good. An outer casing of solid cheese with a soft texture inside, it really served to whet my appetite for the Jap A Dog pizza we ordered that really had a nice umami-flavor that left me wanting more!
Their tiramisu was great as well, a nice espresso flavor with creamy, cheesy undertones. Definitely enjoyed my time here!
We had a lovely time at Paradise Pizza. The fried burrata was a real spectacle, thickened eith cheese with a crispy outering. The wagyu pasta had an interesting and unique texture which we couldn't get enough of. The signature piece of our dinner was the Jap A Dog sourdough pizza, a mixture of arabiki sausage, bonito flakes and mayonnaise. If you're looking for Italian bites in the neighbourhood, do give them a try!
I ordered the Bismarck Blanc pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the mentaiko lemon pasta.
The staff recommended the Bismarck Blanc as their signature, and I can see why! The crispy bacon was a bit salty, but perfectly balanced by the soft-boiled egg. The sourdough crust was a standout—chewy with a nice crispy edge.
The mentaiko lemon pasta was so refreshing and addictive, with the roe bursting with flavor in every bite—definitely a unique pasta experience!
Overall, the dining experience was very satisfying, and the staff were attentive throughout. Highly recommend!”
We indulge in artisanal pizzas and enjoy some great coffee and wine with equal ease and excellence here.
🍽️Deep Fried Burrata $24
Delightful burrata which is creamy, rich, and delicate on the inside, with a crispy outer shell. The pomodoro adds a bright acidity to balance the richness of the burrata and peppery notes from arugula provides an enjoyable contrast to the fried burrata. Balsamic brings depth and a touch of acidity which complements the other ingredients. 👍
🍕Bismark Blanc Pizza $26
Definitely a luxurious twist on traditional pizza with its combination of white sauce, fior di latte, parma ham and sous vide egg. This pizza is indulgent, combining creamy, salty, and savory notes with a soft, almost silky texture from the egg and cheese. Perfect balance of richness from the egg and ham with the mild white sauce. Must try!
🍝Mentaiko Lemon Butter Pasta $22
Wonderful mix of textures—silky from the butter, creamy from the mentaiko, and crunchy from the tobiko—with the lemon cutting through the richness. We enjoyed this harmonious blend of umami with bright citrus notes.
☕Darn Good Tiramisu $14
Optimal balance of creamy, bitter, and sweet with the coffee flavor complementing the moist mascarpone. Light, creamy and addictive!
🍋Yuzu Cooler $6
☕Mocha $7
We loved the cosy vibes and variety of pizzas with diverse ingredients served with their in-house made sourdough pizza base.
The dinner I had at Paradise Pizza was amazing!! We were served by Jo who was incredibly attentive to all of our requests. She recommended us to get the Fried Burrata, Mentaiko Butter Lemon Pasta and Assam Pizza.
Fried burrata was very delicious, not too heavy on the oil and cheese was very oozy. Mentaiko pasta was super unexpected, tangy, salty, and very rich with umami flavours. Assam pizza was just the right amount of spice, with Asian favourites like the tastes of ginger, lemongrass etc. We had tiramisu dessert to end the night, very indulgent and sinful :)
⭐️
Really nice and cosy place with great food. The pizza Jap A Dog is nicely made, fluffy base with a nice combination of ingredients. The tiramisu is also darn good!
Came 2nd time to chill but today want to try their brunch.
Ordered the truffle ham omelette on toast but was abit disappointed. Overall presentation is very good. The egg omelette is as thick as the toast but not soft and doesn't have running egg white or yolk in it. I should have choose other dish with scramble egg instead. Don't really have truffle taste. Will not recommend this dish as there is still other things in their breakfast menu.
Their coffee is very good 👍
This hidden restaurant located in one of the new condo near Holland V, we saw this because there was a burpple promo, it was really nice to visit there given it is so new.
When we were there. We saw a few groups there, some came alone, some came as a group, enjoying each other companies over food and wine.
We ordered a sourdough pizza and a pasta and also a recommended sides.
Our fav among all was the sides which was broccoli so the roasted prosciutto ham serve with a mayo dressing.
Pasta we opt for mushroom Alfredo, it was decent but it tasted way better with their home made chili crunch which they also sell it in bottles.
The sourdough pizza was good, the dough was at just the right amount of chewiness and light, goes well with the pepperoni and cheese, and again got elevated because we added the chilli crunch in it.
Overall this area is great to explore because it is still so new so less human traffic and with the promo, it does serve as a draw to there. Oh and did I say parking was free when we visited there, I wonder if it was by design because it has not fully welcome all the shops yet.
Savoring the rich flavors at Elixir Coffee and Wine, Holland Grove. 🌿✨ First with the Bruleed French Toast, a delightful twist on a classic, and it was absolutely delicious. 🍞 Then, the Cali Cali Sourdough Pizza brought a unique taste to the table, a must-try for pizza lovers. 🍕 The Truffle Cacio e Pepe was a blend of luxurious truffle and perfectly cooked pasta, an indulgence in every bite. 🍝 The Fried Baby Octopus added a crispy, savory touch to the meal. 🐙 Each dish was rich in flavor, making the entire brunch experience delightful and satisfying. Definitely a top spot for a sumptuous weekend brunch! 🍽️
Wonderful local cafe/restaurant with above average quality food and service. We tried the full breakfast "morning fry up" and the pepperoni pizza for good cross menu sample. The full breakfast has a good portion size, scrambled eggs were perfect, sausage patties were highly flavourful, mushrooms were done to perfection with some onions and the vine tomatoes had a lovely hint of bar-b-que from the griddle, as did the toast. The pizza was a cut above too, with a distinct fresh taste of tomatoes and quality cheese and pepperoni. This sums up this small but well furnished establishment, great service and great food well cooked with great ingredients. Finally the coffee, fantastic. Definitely worth seeking out if you are in the Holland Village vicinity.
Delicious pizzas with Napoli style crust~ the quality of pepperoni is top notch! one for one alcohol is a great deal too.
Great dining experience, loved the food and cozy environment! Favourites of the night were the tiramisu and Hawaiian pizza. Service was exceptional too
Had dinner catchup with my friend at elixir paradise pizza and the atmosphere was great with good service and food. The mentaiko pasta was very tasty and the tiramisu is a must get!
The restaurant week deal was not that special, i would probably more prefer the normal brunch menu though. The rice bowl we had were ok. To be honest, the rice actually taste better than the steak lol.
Would definitely go try their brunch menu and big breakfast on my next visit there.
One word to describe their breakfast; SOLID! The portion of breakfast works is huge with lots of variety! We tired their truffle egg prosciutto too and We love it. There’s enough truffle oil and it’s yummy!
Definitely worth the calories.
pricey but they are one of the fewer cafes that provide decent quality dishes. the breakfast work is too much for one person, would be good to order and share. very decent, though nothing spectacular.
the creme brulee french toast was very tasty though i would appreciate if they hold back on the icing sugar. overall still a high 4!
Went on a Sunday after our run at Macritchie. Surprisingly there wasn’t a queue. Service was great. The place itself has a pretty dim lighting though. We ordered 4 mains in total using Burpple deals plus a dessert fr the 5 of us and they’re incredibly filling. Also the scrambled eggs were super well done! Will definitely be back again :)
A satisfying breakfast at Elixir Boutique Roasters located in Serene Center. I personally loved the Truffle Egg Prosciutto, wifey like the simple poached eggs on sourdough. Big eater for teenagers can filled themselves with the Breakfast Works set, and the highly recommended Brulee French Toast for the sweet tooth !!!
IG: @live2njoy
Cool place to have brunch. Food wise nothing special and the thick tough bacon spoils the overall feel, however I love that they actually gave kale as the veg and I love how they did the tomatoes. Give additional 1 star for the nice friendly staff and ambiance.
Super good brunch food at Elixir Boutique Roasters! :) One of my favourites was the Brûlée French Toast! The plating is so gorgeous and it tastes even better than it looks! The Breakfast Works was really delicious too with soft fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, juicy sausages and smoked salmon! It's a perfect place to relax, enjoy the sumptuous food and to catch up with friends!
Pleasant brunch location in Bukit Timah. Prices on the higher end.
Black cold brew
Iced Vanilla Latte
Spaghetti Bolognese - Rich tomato sauce teases the palate with every bite without being overwhelming
Brulee French Toast - combines well with caramelized sugar & custard
Got the brûlée French toast because I’ve heard nothing but good stuff about this dish! Pleased to say that it is a #wouldIeatitagain YES!
The brûlée provided a good contrast to the gooey custard centre without being too sweet and too soggy. Right balance between the brûlée, bread and custard. Fruits were yummy too. Though the chantilly cream… good to have but not fussed about it if it wasn’t there.
Flat white was good too! Strong and not acidic at all. Very enjoyable.
Friend had the Angus Flat Iron bowl and commented the beef was a bit gamey — but my 5 stars is for the toast anyway.
The brunch here hits the spot. The scrambled eggs were excellent, though the brioche felt a little dry
Came here in a Sunday afternoon. It was rather crowded and had quite a queue - though the queue moved quickly (probably because they do kindly request customers to give up their seat once they’re done, which is quite nice considering the long queue).
Food is delicious, and quite worth it with the Burpple 1-for-1. Should note that place is not the biggest, and when crowded can get a bit noisy, but altogether quite a lovely brunch experience. Also note that the bar area allows you to see the chefs at work - which is lovely, but also you may come away smelling a bit of your food!
Amazing brunch cafe!
The vibe isn’t so special but the taste of all dishes are crazy. You can meet one of the best french toasts here. The coffee is good as well!
Woke up and headed straight to meet a fren at Elixir Boutique Roaster Serene centre. With an early stomach I wasn't ready for mains or lunch portion and went for what seems unique the impossible shakshouka. Essentially this is Greek cheese. It tasted like semi sweet yougurt with poached egg. Interesting food I must say. I don't get to eat this at cafes usually. The coffee is straight up bold and full bodied. They have single origins beans as well. My friend had "The breakfast works" which includes most of the breakfast stuff portion size is great. This is by far the nicest social distancing tape I have seen in public places. Gold tape on black furnishing.
Pretty cool place to hang out and have brunch. Ordered the big breakfast and ice latte. The big breakfast's portion is quite huge - will recommend to share if you're going with a girlfriend. Eggs are cooked beautifully and the butter toast is not bad.
A very nice brunch place that’s not too crowded
Their sourdough is fresh and paired with honey and some spices on the side. Was an interesting combination as we have not tried that before
Serving is also generous for the price point
Coffee is good too.
Started the year with indulging in some mind-blowing brunch food. The Brûlée French Toast has got to be my absolute favorite - chunky brioche slice with slightly burnt caramelly edges, topped with a beautiful array of fruits and a dollop of homemade chantilly cream. Truffle Eggs Proscuitto is definitely a game-changer with Elixir serving several slivers of parma ham and shaved truffles.
Though the service was relatively slow (30mins from order to service) but the quality definitely made up for the long wait time. Looking forward to my next brunch date at Elixir 🍳
Cozy space for a lazy weekend brunch. The Wagyu Beef Cheek Rendang was delicious with tender beef, crispy keropoks and fragrant butterfly pea rice, though some of the rice came out not fully cooked - think the staff was a little busy. The Truffle Eggs Prosciutto is a lot more filling than it looks due to the high density of the bread! Truffle shavings add an elegant touch to the dish, but I wished for a little more given the strongly collaborative nature of the tastes in the dish.
Excellent pizza! The Hot Assam is the best fusion pizza I’ve ever had and my 2 year old loved the Hawaiian. There’s a public playground just outside too- great stop for families.
Lovely and tasty Bismarck Blanc pizza in an unpretentious and cozy corner.
Went on a monday noon, order a Duck cassoulet and Vanilla Latte for my brunch. The food is great and yummy, vanilla latte is damn nice, great balance between the bitterness and sweetness. staff are friendly, cozy atmosphere for the great food.
Really hearty breakfast food! Tried the French toast and breakfast platter, the bread was really good and the portions were large. The coffee is also of really good quality.
Having a truffle eggs prosciutto was creamy scrambled eggs on a thick toasted brioche with shaved truffle and parma ham. Great portion and great service. Also, hot chocolate to go with such a breakfast made it all so more warmer.
Met my friend for a long overdue catchup. It’s a cosy restaurant.
Their sourdough pizza are very special. Personally I think their price are quite reasonable.
Parksuites is under Far East Organisation.
the French toast was soooooo pricey but after tasting it, I think it was definitely worth a try at least once!!
There was so many layers to it, and every fruit in it was pretty fresh and very filling.
The breakfast set also came in a pretty huge portion.
The French toast was really good probably one of the best I’ve tried in Singapore. Won’t recommend the savoury menu though tried the beef chilli but a bit too salty
Had the vanilla latte and wagyu beef rendang. Presentation of the dish was nice. Blue rice was free flow! Not much sitting area inside (2 x tables of 6 seats each & the rest were counter bar stools of approx 14 stools). Dining space outside was around 4 tables. Can use entertainer app (1 for 1 main dish).
We had a wonderfully relaxing brunch, the Hot Mama pizza and brûlée French toast were absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic. Loved the playlist
Ordered two dishes - their famed French toast and scramble eggs. Cannot complain about both. The French toast was as delectable as all reviewers mentioned and scramble eggs was creamy and luxurious. Only downside was the coffee which pales in comparison to the two dishes. Great find for us ☺️
Great food, lovely experience.
Try the beef rendang, its amazing with the blue rice
Staff is super friendly.
Wait to get your table can be tricky and can take upto 30 minutes. Be patient, it's worth it
The Breakfast Works is definitely a one platter meal fit for a king. Everything tasted fresh especially the tomatoes which were bursting with flavor. Brioche bread was toasted perfectly and went so well with the creamy eggs.
Vistited this place before the start of circuit breaker; nice atmosphere with very good food! I ordered the Breakfast Works and the scrambled eggs were to die for; amazing creamy eggs and overall hearty dish. Would love to visit again soon.
The cozy atmosphere was great for catching up with my friend over breakfast. I enjoyed tucking into the bread in my Truffle Eggs Prosciutto, which was satisfyingly soft and not too crumbly. Overall, I found that the various ingredients complemented each other well.
Happy to be here for breakfast today and the weather is just nice plus the food&drinks are nicely balanced! The staff here are very friendly too!! The coffee is another plus 👍👍 we’ll visit here quite often I believe so🥰🥳🌹👍
Who doesn't love a nice weekend brunch? Slow relaxed cup of coffee, with The Breakfast Works (eggs, grilled bacon slab, kurobuta pork sausage, smoked salmon, griddled plum tomatoes, crushed potatoes) @ Elixir Boutique Roasters. Great atmosphere, even greater food! Nice portions, with quality ingredients. We'll be back :)
For a restaurant with this price point and service charge, there really wasn't much service. We came on a Sunday morning and it should have been a warning that the adjacent bakery cafe was bustling and this place was quite empty. Despite there being significant staff behind the counter (some doing prep work, the barista/bartender testing out a drink, the rest standing around relaxedly and chit-chatting [as compared to a briefing]), we seated ourselves, collected our own menus from the counter, and then went back to the counter to order. The service staff at the counter seemed none too pleased that I came to bother her with my order.
One of our dishes came first... Then another table that came after us had all their dishes, then our second dish came. When I looked askance at how we were to eat with our hands, the staff said I could collect cutlery at the counter... hidden behind the water jugs which we also collected ourselves (after asking, because they didn't tell us beforehand)
It's really a pity because the sweet brioche (as in the picture) was very good. The truffle scrambled eggs with procciutto on brioche ($22++) was reasonable, with fluffy scrambled eggs and a dash of truffle oil.
We tried both a black and a white coffee and they were decent. In Singapore, many blends are designed to take with milk but I felt the black here was pretty good without.
Overall, would not recommend at this price point/service level unless Micro Bakery & Kitchen next door is full/closed. And if you do go regardless, I would recommend the brulée brioche toast.
Definitely a 网红店 with a 网红 kinda queue.
Let’s start with the positive: really good coffee, mix of outdoor and indoor seats, nice crowd, fancy plates, cups etc...
However, sorry to say, but the food (shakshuka in the photo) came cold... I got a “breakfast works” and the sausage was also cold... quite disappointing considering the price level. Also service charge doesn’t seem really justified since most of things is DIY (order, water, etc.)
Good coffee, decent sourdough pizza.
Good
Public Parking at Adam Road Hawker
No wifi
I think the food was well-cooked because the scrambled has the right consistency.
The kales were toasted.
Great food and huge portions, the rendang was very well done and paired quite nicely with the rice. Breakfast platter was massive, could be enough for 2 adults. Friendly service as well!
Consistently excellent. I've been 3 times now, once for brunch, once for dinner and once just for a drink. Every time, the service has been some of the best I've experienced in Singapore. Really friendly, welcoming and accomodating. The pizzas are great and brunch was also very tasty. Happy hour from 5 till close is a lovely touch. A neighbourhood gem.
Had a nice brunch on a Saturday morning. Ordered Turkish eggs which didn’t suit my palette as it was more on the sour side and had other herbs to it. However the bread that came with it was delish! Haha
Great food. Great service especially by Joe! Everybody should drop by this quaint neighbourhood to enjoy a good meal with loved ones.
Love the food here!!! My favorite got to be the Truffle Eggs Proscuitto. I didn't really enjoy the Turkish Eggs. If you're coming here for brunch on a weekend and want to avoid sitting outside, it'll be better to come before noon as it got real packed from 12pm onwards and they didn't have many indoor seats. Coffee was too acidic for my liking so I enjoyed the vanilla latte which was sweet but still tolerable. Will be back to try more!
Early lunch for 2. Fantastic food, chef is talented and done it nicely. The coffee is fantastic too. Found the lightning a bit too dim, especially those sitting inside the restaurant. But over ambiance is good. Sitting limited so be prepared to wait. Will definitely be back.
Good quality, friendly service, and a very reasonable price. At the same time, nothing outstanding for returning back if this is not your nearby cafe. But if Elixir is nearby you, you should give them a try 👍
Was looking for coffee places near Botanic Gardens, and this popped up as one of the options. At night, they're a full scale restaurant serving bbq food, but in the day they operate a cafe out of the same place. They're nowhere close to as popular as Micro, but they definitely try the job done in terms of feeding good coffee. They also have WiFi and a good enough sitting space, helping me with my WFH situation.
Chill ambiance with the best french toast I've ever had! Portions were really huge, great for sharing. Staff was also approachable and friendly (:
Visited for brunch.
A staff member will come to take your order. I ate the popular French toast. The seasonal fruit at this time is pomegranate. I felt that the sweet and sour taste of the pomegranate went very well with the French toast. It looked fresh and delicious.
The staff are also very welcoming. The inside of the store is also clean and has a calm atmosphere. We had a great time.
