This was the first time we tried pepper lunch. The experience was good. The long queue at the start was a little stressful but the queue moved fairly quickly. We were able to scan a QR code to browse the menu and add our order to the cart which made the payment at the cashier very easy and quick. We collected the salad and drinks ourself right after paying and the rest of the stuff (which was extremely hot) was served by the nice staff. The sizzlers were noisy. Chicken meat was in larger chunks but beef was in thin slices. Was quite easy to cook to the beef but the chicken didn’t do so well - I think mostly because of our inexperience of handling relatively larger chunks. We also got the brown curry sauce which was a nice addition to the order. Overall the food tasted great, the service was good, price was reasonable compared to the portion size. Definitely recommend to everyone at least once. We will definitely be heading back.

Staff MEI MEI was extremely friendly and polite. She greeted us really enthusiastically when we lined up in queue waiting to get seated. Very warm and pleasant welcome which gave me a good first impression of Jem Pepper Lunch!

Normal taste and the service was okay. Average place if you want a dinner or lunch. The price is expensive. You can get it cheaper in some hawker.

The food was good but a bit pricey! The environment was okay but it does get a bit warm in there with the weather plus the cooking that takes place right in your face. My friend and I had a pleasant time here. One thing we were really happy with was the service. Everything was swift and all the staff were friendly. Kudos to Mei Mei, we could see and hear her helping everyone enthusiastically, colleagues and customers included. She greeted everyone and made sure everyone was okay! Would most likely come back here when I'm craving Pepper Lunch!

They have good system in place, can place Mobile order while queuing. Also convenient with the table numbering system , place the electronic tracking device on the table and food will be sent to you.

A place that reminds me of childhood! Still tastes as good as the past. Love the variety and the sauces! However, pepper lunch is a little pricey for what it is, fast food. no complains!

These restaurant chains always give reasons of poor service with shortage of manpower. There is a QR code system to order in advance as well as manual order system. Both of them end up still queuing at the counter to make a payment and get a table number. What is the point that shop asks customers to use QR ordering. This is utter nonsense with wasting time of so many people. QR ordering and online payment is no longer high-tech and many shops are using now. They should spend on such investment to produce better productivity and customers' satisfaction.

Visited on 20th June 2022.. We ordered through the QR code and accidentally ordered an extra meal and wanted to change. However, an Indian lady working that evening was persistent in telling us that our order CANNOT be changed. As someone who has worked in F&B, it is very clear that any order done can be canceled and made again, although it takes a bit more effort. Clearly this Indian lady was simply disrespectful and outright lazy. Furthermore, she told us that “ice cream CANNOT takeaway”. Why not? Whether it melts or not, I think it is up to the consumer to do whatever they want with their purchase. Rude and lazy lady, do better.

Food was decent , for the flank steak, chicken n salmon, I mean ,but i ordered 2x40g of broccoli ,size and or quantity given was unexpectedly less than description stated ,40g each order, i order 2x 40g, but end up i only got like 5 or 6 pieces of broccoli only about thumb size roughly, I'm pretty sure its less than 80gram ,as I am pretty experience in this, in terms of how much per quantity, I order one additional broccoli later but was only given 3 small pieces like thumb size, that's barely 40gram, even less!! Should have taken a picture to prove it but oh well.... Next time I will take to prove!

Super duper friendly aunties waved us goodbye when we're leaving the restaurant and fast service! Super strict about distancing and QR check in. Food is Delicious and big portion for Jumbo size! Meat lover have to visit this outlet. 🥰

Not the worst for a virgin try. I did not expect the strong peppery flavour when I first tried it. Truth be told that I was a little upset that the amount of salmon given seemed to be lesser than what was shown on the menu. Definitely worth a shot.

Food is OK for the price. Its slightly to the steeper side. The restaurant will stink up your clothings. Ventilation of the smoke is not professional.
