. The oysters were incredibly fresh, with a variety of regional options to choose from—each one was briny, sweet, and served on a perfect bed of ice. As for the steak, it was perfectly cooked to my preferred temperature (medium-rare) and had an amazing sear. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and ensuring every detail was taken care of.

8pax + 2 birthday celebrations @ perle noire lor mambong food was pretty ok oyster promotion good 👍 1/2 dozen canadian S$20 Japanese S$22 escargot, crab cake part of S$58 3-course set good 👍 squid tender and tasty a bit Thai style seasoning gambas (prawns) large, fresh and bouncy, seasoning a bit Asian foie gras ok, small serving fry or the price. 250g ribeye steak part of dinner set good pastas were tasty, good size servings, a bit Asian flavours.. vongole and sakuraebi capellini best. carbonara good just not our favourite. squidink tasty, dark which is good, but strangely no chalky taste? Asian flavours not our preferred for squidink pasta, soft boiled egg? Jap style? tiramisu part of dinner set +$5 good..creme brulee good too 8.11.2024

Had a great impression of this restaurant. We came here to celebrate my wife birthday. It is a busy evening but the waiting staffs here led by Tukula are super attentive to our needs and keeping their smiling faces all the time. Very good dining experience here and we are planing to come back to try other foods on the menu very soon.

Food is good. Had the half a dozen oysters promotion when you order a main. Surprisingly for the cheaper price of the oysters, the quality is better than I expected. However, water is chargeable which the waitress did not tell us!

Escargots were really good! Oysters were nice only that it wasn’t fully defrosted so at times there were icicles in the oysters. But the sauces were nice. Steak was okay but could be hotter when served, asked for medium rare but it was a bit too rare such that the middle was a bit lukewarm. Chicken dish was good but the cheese slab next to it was quite overwhelming. Great service and atmosphere though! Would recommend.

Decor was as nice as the other reviewers describe it as. Had the set lunch with my wife, but was not impressed. My steak frites was average. For a steakhouse it really did not meet my expectations. Not juicy but not dry either. The barramundi was great, skin was crispy and the sauce and salsa was nice to me, although the mango was not to my wife's taste.

Beautifully decorated restaurant and superb for date night. The food here is great - oysters, mussels, steak and even the burger was delicious. We were too busy enjoying the food to take photos. We'll certainly be back here often having found a gem of a restaurant. Edited: the dessert came as soon as I uploaded the review. Did I mention you won't be paying through your nose for an excellent meal here?

First time in PN Resto Bar and already left deep impressions with the food and service. We ordered the ribeye medium and boy was the steak cooked on point! My 12yo son had the wagyu burger and enjoyed every single bite right down to the last morsel. Though they were understaffed but not once was the service compromised. Definitely worth revisiting. Thanks Ivan and his team for making this an unforgettable Father's Day celebration.

First time here. I read the reviews were not too bad, decided to give it a try. Overall the foods were good. We ordered mussels and sautéed mushrooms to start. The mussels were fresh and well cooked and mushrooms were sautéed with leeks, it's kind of unusual. There were certainly some influence on Chinese style cooking but it was quite nice. The steak was very nice. I would prefer it to be medium rare but my wife prefer medium. Of course I go with the wife as we were sharing the dishes. What can be improved is the timing of serving the steak. It came right after the starters were served. First of all the table is too crowded with the starters and main together. Secondly after we finished the starters the steak would have been cold. We were surprised that the restaurant over looked basic things like this. Hope that the restaurant management will pay attention to some details like this. Other than that the foods were great. We were quite happy with this place.

Excellent steak and oysters! Oysters come at $19++ for 6 pcs which I think is not a bad deal considering how juicy and fresh they are! They have set menus from Monday - Thursdays which is pretty worth it!

I usually come with friends to enjoy the oysters here, they are fresh and succulent. The other items on the menu such as steak and pasta were also fantastic as were the dessert menu. The creme brulee is really nice although I feel it can be a bit bigger. Inside the bar, its nicely airconditioned and the waitresses are always on point. 5/5!

First time here and love the atmosphere of this place. It is different from the happening street of Holland village where you can chill and catch up with your loved ones kinda vibes. Best thing - drinks are on 20% off till 9pm and they served you a bread to start off with which surprisingly taste super good! To end off, really want to compliment the server there, especially a cute boy (forgotten the name) who is really fun & always checking on us if we need anything. Cheers!

Excellent selection available on the menu at a competitive price point for establishments of its class. Red meats cooked to perfection. My only gripe is the acoustic design of the dining area, making normal conversations between diners sound very jarring.

Our first visit to Black Pearl since reading good review of this place Indeed the steak we ordered not only did not failed us, it was really value for money. We had the grass fed Australian Wagyu Ribeye, sweet potatoes fries and plum creme brulee. The steak was real tender at medium and the sauce blended well with the steak. Sweet potatoes was served piping hot and the dessert was not too sweet which were perfect for us. The place was nicely done but find abit too dim. Staff was very accommodating and service was right. Highly recommended and value for money! They do have other on the menu if you are not a steak person.
