Good pizza in general, loved the thin crust. We got one with the mushrooms and egg in the middle (can't remember the weird name) and then got the $1 chicken satay pizza deal with one main (valid for dine-in only else +$5 for take-away box). Pizzas came in 12" hand-stretched dough which was very good but the toppings were not evenly distributed and/or a little lacking such that one person could actually comfortably finish one whole pizza (8 slices) by himself/herself. Chicken satay pizza was too heavy on the rempah/spices that over-powered the chicken and the satay sauce if there was any at all. So it was "jelat" after maybe 2 slices so I am not sure if I will be back to try their other fusion pizzas. Service was friendly and good but then again the two of us were the only ones in the restaurant for lunch service! So as a whole it's a bit pricey for the casual concept with better pizzas to be had elsewhere for the price.

Our first visit to Picolino at Shaw Plaza left a lasting impression, thanks to the warm and attentive service. We started with the Spaghetti Aglio Olio, which featured fresh prawns, tender squid, and a kick of bird's eye chili. While it’s a simple dish, the flavors were extraordinary and exceeded our expectations. Even our child finished it in record time! We also shared the Longanisa Hawaiian pizza, made fresh on the spot. The combination of Longanisa sausage, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese was perfectly balanced, making it one of the tastiest pizzas we've ever had. This restaurant has certainly earned a return visit from us. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Picolino for making our dining experience truly unforgettable.

We had dinner at the Balestier outlet on a Saturday evening and it's not crowded. The mixed meat pizza and truffle mac&cheese were so so good!!! The caesar salad was generally good. I do wish they can add a bit more sauce and bacon chips to make it prefect. In addition, it will be nice to cut the hard-boiled egg into slices. It's easier to mix with the salad. It's easier when sharing the salad. My overall experience is really good. The service crew was very attentive and helpful.

Dropped by Picolino for the first time & it was a great dining experience 🥰 Had the calamari for appetisers, followed by Gochujang Chicken Pizza (Pizza was filled with the right amount of toppings & wasn’t too overwhelming) We also tried Thai Basil Chicken Fusilli Lunghi, right amount of spices & pasta choice 🍝

One of the nicest tiramisu I ever eaten! So delicious that i forgot to take a photo until halfway through. Service staff was very attentive as well and actively check on you to see if you need anything.

Been here twice, both times for dinner. The crowd was not too bad and I didn't have to wait long for the food to be served. Liked the pizzas, they have creative ones on promo, and the beef stew pasta. However the choco lava cake was a miss. It didn't come piping hot and the chocolate was not flowing. The dessert shouldnt be charged such prices for its standards.

For us, some hits and misses with the food. Duck rillette flavour is interesting and well done. Calamari was excellent, lovely batter and tender inside (not chewy at all). We enjoyed the poached pear too. Sweet potato fries had a good crispy on the outside tender on the inside and a nice dip. Mentaiko pasta was a little too creamy for our liking. Milo Dinosaur pana cotta was difficult to eat from a small-mouth jar, the only Milo we could taste was the powder dusting. We rate the service 4-star simply because the food arrived all at once - drinks, appetisers and mains all at once. We had to quickly eat as we didn’t wish the food to turn cold. Service staff are good and professional though. 👍🏻

Everything about this restaurant is perfect. The margherita pizza is the best I've ever had. I LOVE that they put pesto and I don't think it's wrong at all - turns out they put pesto on it in Genoa. So I hope they don't remove pesto from the ingredients. The scamorza I'd give a 7/10 (it's tasty but not WOW like what I felt with the margherita). The tiramisu is so good, it's authentic and actually tastes like tiramisu instead of just predominantly sugar. 10/10 for sure. The service is great too! And the atmosphere is nice and chill. Not noisy or anything. I visit this restaurant a few times a month now.

Love the food here especially their burrata pizza and cacio e pepe. Most of their dishes are excellent. Pizzas are crispy and slightly thin while the side is puffy. Pastas are done al dente.

Tried the Mafalde Cacio E Pepe + Hamburg Steak, as well as the Smoked Scarmoza pizza. Pasta was not as salty as expected, and definitely less flavourful than the dishes you'll get from pasta stalls out there. The pairing with fried egg was different, but it kinda worked. A runny egg also came with the pizza, and it was decent. Slightly expensive menu compared to other restaurants. Would be great if they served iced water.

Fantastic food by Les amis brand! I didn’t realise it was rebranded from Lino which I used to frequent over at Shaw centre. Food is still undoubtedly of high quality, good portion size & taste. We will be back for more. Thank you too to the team for taking care of us for lunch 😉

Staffs provide very good service and the foods are nice. Must try the smoked salmon & kale pizza and the sweet potato fries with cheese. Will come back again.

KAM HEONG VONGOLE was a disappointment as they have change their recipe to have more gravy and watery. I personally prefer the dry and baked version. Other than that, pizza and pasta was amazing. Buratta pizza was mind blowing... Great service as well!

Dinner. Weekday. 2+1. Living in the gastronomic paradise which is Balestier and one who has widely travelled it's hard to be impressed with food. However.... Picolino has proven itself to be up there with the best. Ordered the Aglio Olio, Lamb Pizza (Pictured) and an Alfredo kids meal (Diner pictured). First up was the Aglio Olio... It came generously portioned with Prawns and Squid, which in itself is more than expected in spite of the price point. Taste maybe on the salty side for something but I chalk that up to the seafood offerings in the dish; nothing a good glass of medium bodied wine won't wash out (I did). The pasta was Al dente and not some wet hokkien noodle textured mess. 4/5 The kids meal came next. Consumed by an almost 2 year old ... It's generous in portions and tasted great; the little boss finished half the penne and most of the mushrooms! Fussy eater kids are ... I can only say the taste was to the baby's liking. 5/5 The lamb pizza! It was almost perfect. It came with a drizzle of mint leaves on top (pictured) and trying it with the chilli flakes and Tabasco... I recommend sticking with the original flavourings but ask for a little extra mint leaves if it's suits you .. I asked for some and they were happy to oblige; no rolling of eyes detected... Kudos to good service. 5/5 Spent approx $140 and it was money well spent. See you guys again! 18/02/24 Back again for some dessert and pizza! Lamb pizza still as good as ever. 5/5 Tried their Milo Panna-cotta and non baked cheesecake. 4/5 for the Milo but can't give much props to the cheesecake... Kinda missed the mark on taste. Not a buzz-kill and everyone is allowed a day off. Will be back for sure

I recently chanced upon this place near where I m staying. It's fairly new in my neighborhood. We went to try their pizza since there's promotion now for all the Le Amis restaurants. Wow we were so impressed by the pizza!! Love the pizzas and of course the service there . Subsequently I went back with my colleagues for their set lunch. This time round I tried the pasta n dessert . Again love the pasta esp the Aglio Olio. Last night I hosted a birthday celebration for my husband and my best gf. We have a big group of 16 of us . The restaurant staff Mr Joshua is so helpful. Helped me with all the reservation, food preparation etc His service is great. All of us enjoyed the food so much and will definitely frequent this place for yummy pizza n pasta .

Pizza that we ordered was really good. Service was ok. It's worthwhile to visit.

have eaten multiple times before , margherita pizza is a must try! had truffle macaroni which wasnt as great as the pizza and tasted quite soggy. Atmsophere is alright and fine i guess, service is also alright too. Vegetarian lasagna is absolutely gross for take out. Do not recommend the vegan options .

Came here on a workday with some colleagues- was surprised that the place wasn’t crowded at all, given that the food was rather affordably priced and tasty! Would definitely come back again.. if you’re around the Balestier area definitely drop by for some decent Asian-Italian fusion fare.

I had dinner on Apr 15. Ordered the sprats, tortellini, gnocchi, pizza and mojitos. Service was fast and food was good. Servers were enthusiastic. I will definitely return to try other items. Saves me the journey of going to the Scotts road outlet. I would advise that the restaurant station someone at the entrance as I noticed many non patrons just using the restaurant to walk through to the other side! 🙄
