Reviews of Pita Bakery
❤️ It was one of the best falafel we ever had!!! The mango and turmeric dip was sooooooo delicious!!! The baba ganoush deserves a special shoutout!!!!! My partner and I couldn't handle the heat from Harisa, but that's on us. People with good spice tolerance will love it!!
The pita bread is so fresh and yummy we ordered garlic and Cajun pita bread!!!
Ask for Alisa she was awesome to interact with us in the short time she had!!!!
💕💕💕💕
We are repeat customers of Pita Bakery because of the quality of their food- tasty and consistent. Tonight I was disappointed at the serving of vegan gyro we ordered for the first time as it did not look like the photo on the menu. For $19 we received one gyro and none of the accoutrements pictured in the photo. Meanwhile, the $38 taste-everything platter looked exactly like the dish pictured in the menu. I pointed out the discrepancy and was told the gyro photo was just an illustration “from management”. Later, though a server gave us two small side dishes, saying they were complimentary. Meanwhile, the $38 taste-everything platter we also ordered looked exactly like the dish pictured in the menu. I’m attaching photos here. I feel this is a case of false advertising.
maybe its not my taste but the falafel was very bitter after taste. i expected more spices and more flavour but it was js the spicy taste with the bitter falafel. the place also no aircon. thought could chill from the hot sun. also 1 pita bread w fillings is 18 sgd?? overpriced.
Great vegan food , we tried taste all platter and order 5 extra pita breads of different flavours.
Everything is so nice here. Pita bread is soft and fluffy. Freshly made falafel is delicious with crispy exterior and soft on the inside with good bite texture. Hummus and babaganoush are tasty too.
[Update] On another visit, was served by a lady at the cashier. She seemed impatient. We asked if there is paywave, she had this look that was sort of at the brink of snapping at us and replied with a stern tone "nets and cash only". Dunno if she was having a bad day but this doesn't mean that she can simply treat customers this way. looking at her service, not sure if want to return anymore no matter how nice the food is.
First time here and absolutely loved!! the pita chips and hummus. Will be back
I had the pita sandwich which had ample amount of falafel. The falafel was not dry at all. Only issue I had was that they were too generous with the sauce. The pita was breaking apart at the bottom. Perhaps it would be better if it was served on a plate instead of napskins as it can get quite messy.

Ordered the
I'm HUNGRY set
@S$19.00
Had the Hummus with Falafel set + 2 Pita (Seasame/Garlic)
Hummus is still very good , texture is great, a splash of 🌶 was nice.
Falafel very crispy and crunchy, great favour.
Pita I still prefer the garlic , sesame pita not much sesame taste tho.
The server was very friendly ,
Their pita chips are a MUST-HAVE! Also their falafels are moist and crunchy!
Went to Haji Lane on a Thursday night befor the long weekend.
Streets were full with many people.
Found this cute place at the back alley.
Ordered falafel sandwich and a bread. Taste was good and service was fast but prices were high. 11 sgd for a falafel sandwich was too high plus the size of the serving was also not enough.
If you are around Haji lane you can visit this place.
The pita here is amazing! (Available in both whole grain and normal flavour) love the falafel and hummus here too the ingredients feels super fresh and burst into flavours in your mouth upon every bite. Been to this place twice and it hasn't disappoint! :)
Good customer service, friendly crew. Decent fresh taste to all their items. You get what you paid for, freshly made and piping hot falafel. Crunchy on the outside and grainy flavourful bits on the inside. Coupled with a creamy hummus.
Would definitely be back!!
Found this vegan & halal-friendly place to be very homely and welcoming. Enjoyed the fill-free sandwich ($9) which consisted of of falafel balls & mixed vegetables drizzled with a variety of sauces. Also bought a side of babaganoush ($5) that tasted very similar to hummus. The staff was also very welcoming & helpful.
Note: if using Burpple 1-for-1 (takeaway), you just have to buy any item on their menu in order to utilize their dining area - as advised by their staff. There were around 4-5 tables in the seating area.
Will definitely be back for more!
We used Burpple’s 1 for 1 and got 2 full free pita sandwiches and pita chips! The sandwiches were PACKED with a gajillion mini falafels and veggies. The sauce for the salad I think is a mix of tahini, amba and harissa. The pita chips made such a good snack - they were like crispy biscuit fingers coated in a thick layer of their in house seasoning. A little salty, but so so addictive!

⭐️ taste it all! Platter for 2 - they are #halalsg #vegansg #kosher #allnatural #nopreservatives

Did you know that @pitabakerysingapore has been around for 8 years?!✨ serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine freshly baked everyday from scratch🤩their in-house special hummus, babaganoush and falafel base are produce on a daily basis as well👍 when you can’t travel to Middle East, you can still enjoy middle eastern cuisine conveniently and affordably✨ even in your home 🏠 they are on foodpanda 🐼✨ highly recommend their pita chip ($3) which is fried pita bread sticks holly, I didn’t realized till the end😂 truly have the savory and crisp of potato fries☺️💕 but healthier!🙌 do check them out! They are on @burpple as well🎉 thank you for inviting @pitabakerysingapore 💕
One of our favourite places for authentic Mediterranean fare: Pita Bakery @pitabakerysingapore! If you are not sure what to order, get their 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 (serves 2 pax)! For $25, the platter comes with falafels, baba ghanoush, hummus and 3 in-house dips (tahini, harissa and amba) to pair with their freshly baked pita bread. Absolutely love dipping the pillowy soft pita into the irresistibly velvety & rich hummus- it makes our hearts go pita pita (sorry lame pun 😆)! If you love a smokier and more savoury flavour profile, the baba ghanoush is a good option.
Their deep-fried falafel balls work well with any dip. While they are crunchy on the outside, it was slightly drier compared to the last time we had it. Still quite satisfying to go along with the rest of the platter!

📍 Address: 29 Bali Lane, Singapore 189865 (approximately 2-min walk from the Masjid Sultan)
This brought me back to my trip to Israel in 2019. Hummus, pitas, falafel and dips for days. Slightly pricey but served with flair and finesse. Crew gave us some spicy eggplant dish to try and it was interesting. We dabao-ed pitas to heat up at home to eat with curry the next day.
back then it was mostly a place to buy pitas and hummus/other dips for takeaway, but now you can sit and eat here too! the food here is amazing, whether eaten fresh or for takeaway, I could really consider going vegetarian for the food here
Finally visited this place!. This small bakery churns out a variety of freshly made pita daily. A wonderful aroma greets you as soon as you walk in. The friendly staff at the counter offered me a cute little falafel to try and it is amazingly delicious. Ended up ordering a Falafel sandwich ($7), a small tub of hummus and an extra zaatar pita to go. The sandwich pita was soft, fluffy and so fresh - stuffed with balls of falafel made to order, medley of vege, pickled cabbage, tahini sauce, mango sauce and their spicy chili sauce. Loved every bite. You can savour your order al fresco - there's a couple of tall tables and chairs out at the front.
Had a craving for falafel and pitas so googled and popped over for a takeout.
The falafel was delicious along with fluffy pitas and great tasting hummus. Wished the falafel was a bit bigger tho.
Happy to find a go-to place now for both. Deffo recommended.
Falafel and pita sticks were great. The rest are so-so. Pita bread and hummus was average and tasted quite bitter - there r better ones in the area.
nice falafels, crispy on the outside and soft/not dry inside, but a little bit salty for my preference. hummus is ok, has a slight bitter aftertaste. im not sure how pita bread is like usually and zatar pita bread seems dense?
may come back if I'm craving falafel/ hummus.
Love it, generous on the hummus and sauces. Pita bread was amazing. Tried the safron+cinnamon & thyme pita. Smells like heaven
Pita Bakery is a vegan food joint with fresh and tasty food options. Their Pita sandwich and chips are my favourite go-to options. I don't remember the name of the dessert they have, but it's a nice rose flavoured thing, which is the perfect sweet, has roasted peanuts for the crunch and extra flavour and is a must try. Overall, it is a small resturant with good food available to sit and enjoy with your friends or even alone.
Well seasoned, reasonably priced food. When you walk in you're greeted with a fantastic cumin smell and enveloped in a warm, freshly baked pita scent. The salad is crisp with a refreshing tang, pita chips are fried but not so much that they lose a bit of the fluffy centre. The falafel are a lot smaller than I had anticipated but super delicious. They accept paynow!!
Popped in on a whim this morning and really enjoyed my breakfast! Crispy outside, soft inside, and not greasy at all, these were the best falafels I'd had in a while, served piping hot in pita bread that was airy and fresh. I'd love to try other items on the menu next time.
The portions were large and the hummus was delicious. It's a cozy hangout.
Excellent food and service at affordable prices! My friend group (pax of 3) ordered one Taste it all plate ($28.9) which has all the menus. The plate had vegan falafel, two pita bread, three dips, hummus, baba ghanoush, pita chips, and salad. We ordered two more pita bread but the portion was enough to satisfy us all! Although the place is quite small, there were enough seats for us and the staff were really polite. I would love to visit again ;)
First time there, staff very nice to introduce food and got complimentary dip (babaganoush) to try along with the pita bread + hummus/falafel set. The only star deducted is bcos of tidiness.
Love the food here. It’s tasty and homely. I like that they have different flavours of pita and their classic hummus is to die for. Must try. This place Could have more seating, but I guess that’s the charm of it.
Great place, great food, a fantastic place to drop in for a quick bite when in the area. Love their Babagaboush…
the pitas were so fluffy with good portions. the garlic pita was good too, but wished they'd serve more hummus in the small bowl ($4, not pictured)
$13 pita, not bad but expensive
Always absolutely delicious, healthy and fresh tasting. We only ever get the Taste it all and for 2 of us, it is a generous portion that is filling and satisfying without being heavy or overly salty- perfect balance of flavous. I believe we have been here about 15 times now and love it so much.
Tried the delicious new coconut pudding - muhlahibi . So satisfying and not overly sweet or cloying nor heavy.
We love the lady who runs the place too, Lisa or Alissa . Ever friendly and welcoming . This is just a perfect experience and gastronomical delight.
Super delicious! Everything is vegan, so everyone can enjoy their great food. I recently went for their home deliver, which has acceptable delivery fees.
What a wonderful place
It's a small little shop that offers a lot especially for people with special needs like kosher halal peanut-free vegan etc.
Special shout out to adelina and Suresh
Thank you guys so much for treating your customers with royalty Hope to visit again. 🙏
Great vegan middle eastern food at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Love the soft and pillowy pitas. Hummus, babaganoush and tahini were all fragrant. Pickles were just the right amount of tartness. Limited seating though.
Hummus and feta ball are very nice and freshly made. The pita bread is a bit too thick. But overall a nice and affordable restaurant
the food is really well presented and appetizing, as well as super tasty!
very good service
the guy let us try the sauce when we were wondering which to choose
since this is our first time so we cannot compare whether it’s really good taste or not
but found it quite nice
Best.Pita.And.Hummus.Ever
This place has the best pita and hummus in Singapore. The falafel is out of this world as well! I don't think I will ever go elsewhere to enjoy hummus and pita bread in Singapore.
Best pitas in Singapore. Great deal especially if you get the 5+1 pitas. The Feel Free is a must try. I’ve gone here many times and it’s a nice weekday or weekend meal.
Liked the pita chips, nice crisp on the outside and well seasoned. Felafels were good too
Great pita and pita chips, falafel is very good. Tried the falafel sandwich on this visit- very good and spicy!
I recently visited Pita Bakery in Singapore and I was blown away by the delicious offerings they had. The pita bread was fresh and soft, and the fillings were so flavorful and generous. I tried their classic falafel, and were fantastic. I was also impressed by the variety of dips and sauces available to accompany the pita. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. I highly recommend Pita Bakery to anyone looking for a quick, satisfying meal or a snack on the go. It's definitely worth a visit!
First of all the ambience is very nice. Variety of pitas offered on the table at a very very reasonable price. Presentation of the food on table is excellent...eye catching...tasted few varieties of pitas....very delicious...young to old, everybody will like it...prices are clearly indicated on the signboard from which you can decide on which you can eat with your budget...good for a small family gathering to munch...vegan falafel was awesome...it's a unique experience and a good journey towards healthy eating...Love it and recommend it to any one to try and enjoy their food.
The staff and the manager is very accommodating plus the food is very very great. Hummus had me at first bite. WILL RECOMMEND THIS TO MY FRIENDS AND WILL GO BACK!!!
I recently visited Pita Bakery and was very impressed with the quality of the food. The freshly made pita bread was delicious and the hummus and falafel were both full of flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some delicious Mediterranean food.
I give four stars because everyone has room to improve and no one is perfect. Everyone is capable of growth and progress, so four stars acknowledges that everyone can take steps to better themselves
Great opportunity to enjoy authentic delicious mediterranean dishes.
The food was fresh and tasty, the stuff was welcoming, and the price was more than fair.
Can’t wait for next time 😋
Great vegetarian food, and courteous service. It was delicious 💜
I am new at Singapore and I am a non pork eater. I am so glad that I discovered Pita Bakery specially their falafel it is really good! Guys you must try it!!
If you are looking for a food that is Halal or you are vegan you must try Pita Bakery. I promise you, you wont regret trying this bakery! 🙂
I’ve been a huge fan of pita bakery for more than 3 years now. The taste and quality have always been consistent until recently, which made us wonder if the business was being sold off. The hummus was watery and the sauces weren’t as tasteful as before. The staff have changed and we no longer see the owners on Saturday. It’s a pity that we can no longer taste what it was like before. Pita bakery was good while it lasted.
I recently visited Pita Bakery to order their sharing set for takeaway.
The pita bread was freshly made and had the perfect combination of softness and chewiness. I could tell that it was made with high-quality ingredients and was baked to perfection. The pita bread was served warm, which made it even more enjoyable to eat.
The hummus was also outstanding. It had a smooth and creamy texture and was packed with flavor. The hummus was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of garlic and tahini. I could tell that it was made with fresh ingredients and was of the highest quality.
The falafel was another highlight of my meal. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a delicious blend of spices that gave it a wonderful flavor. The falafel was served with a side of salad, which was fresh and crisp. The salad was a perfect complement to the falafel, adding a refreshing element to the dish.
Overall, my experience at this pita bread bakery was excellent. The food was fresh, delicious, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service was also great, with helpful and friendly staff who packed the food well and ensured that I was able to carry it. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal.
Babaganoush and pita were great, hummus just okay - did not taste that fresh. Service is amazing
Finally get my chance of trying Pita Bakery! Almost every afternoon, it’s crowded! The bread is so fresh! And the hummus spread is smooth and creamy! Definitely will visit again!
This is hands down the best pita and hummus place in Singapore. They imported an actual machine to make the pita so they are nice and fluffy. You can rip them or put stuff inside and it won't break. The hummus is also authentic and delicious. If a taste of the middle East is what you are looking for in Singapore, don't miss it. They also sell takeaway portions and can cater events and parties! The restaurant is also vegan, halal and kosher.
The taste it all is perfect as a light meal for two! Pitas were so fresh and fluffy - we had the za’atar and ras el hanout flavours which were good. Hummus is so creamy and smooth, and we really enjoyed the baba ganoush as well. Can get crowded during meal hours (our order was missed out) and the store is quite small, so arrive early for a seat.
Great for vegetarians and vegans! Nice falafel, hope they expand their menu soon!
Happened to walk pass pita bakery and tried their falafel and pita. Their food are delicious and their service is fantastic. Highly recommended to both vegan and non-vegan.
I feel like I'm transported to Israel when I come here. The pita is baked fresh here! We had the platter with everything inside. I'd say my favourite was their falafels- super cripsy and bite-sized!
The baba ghanoush had a smokey flavour which I loved too. Definitely coming back!
My go to place for authentic, fresh and super yummy middle eastern dishes and delight. Love it !😍
Excellent prices and pitas. Tasty falafel, spicier than one woukd expect, but not unpleasant. Very small but clean location. Drink was fairly expensive.
The thing i like about them the most is that they are extremely environmentally friendly. I didn't see any plastic usage there. The forks, napkins, chairs, tables, cups, bowls all are made by biodegradable materials.
A mediocre fast food restaurant.
We ordered a Taste it all, and it was a middle-of-the-road experience. There was a fair amount of food, but I would have expected more when it has 4.5 stars on Google.
The waiter was disengaged and should pull himself together.
The venue has no personality.
Very tasty pitas with tasty side dips. Very nice and attentive service. Would come back at any time.
I came back because I wanted to try the S$13 sandwich 😋 It was spicy and delicious! Healthy 👌
Very tasty, fresh, pretty and homemade.
The falafel and pita are delicious from iodine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much friends!
I had lovely, authentic Pita similar to the one I had in Mahane Yehuda Market in Israel! Good quality hummus as well. The staff were super friendly. Thank you so much, I will return!
