Reviews of Pranakorn
Recently opened Thai cafe. Retained previous decor of Moments cafe. I suppose to safe costs. The lunch set menu is good. Pricing is reasonable. Avoid the green curry. While the taste was fine the curry is watery and the chicken not cooked well. Hope they improve.
This place has a nice inviting vibe. The auntie serving the tables is so friendly and efficient 👍🏻
Food was great, and not too salty as well!
Prices are reasonable as well.
Will definitely come back if I’m craving for Thai food (and happen to be around the area) 😄
This outlet was recently opened in Serangoon Ave 3.
They took over the Moments cafe & keep the old furnishing.
Was told to wait 20mins upon paying at the cashier after submitting order via QR.
Food was served ard 35mins later but that’s fine as we took the opportunity to chat with our family.
We had Tom yum seafood soup, omelette & fried pork cake.
Wished the soup could be more spicy tho, fried omelette is crisp & pork cake is tasty.
Service is slow probably they need some time to settle down.
Will go again to try other dishes.
ok food , nice fish and fried egg .
tho' some are a little too salty for me .
A small eatery serving Thai dishes. We ordered the basil pork rice and mango sticky rice. Food wise is above average. They also have a good range of dishes. It's a nice place to have lunch or dinner.
The food are nice but for some reasons some dishes as well as drinks example lemongrass drinks are not available 🥹🥹
Love the curry that I ordered as it is not too spicy & very appetising so I ate the whole bowl of rice 😀😀
The drinks a bit too sweet but hope they could “fine tune” to make it not too sweet :)
So yummy. Taste exactly same as thailand food. Real food. By real thai
One of the best Thai food I have tried in Singapore. The best dish I recommend is steamed seabass with lime and chilli. Thai style fried kangkung is delicious too.
Honestly the dishes that we have ordered are good! Fish is fresh and the broth is refreshing! Pork cake is amazing and spicy lala is good too.. Kang Kong is average though. Milk tea is a little sweet for me.
Overall, a happy and satisfied meal...
We will be back again
12/10/21 - Love the Thai food here. A must try and you will know why.
14/07/21 - Excellent taste of Thai authentic delicacies. Love the ambience. The staffs are friendly and helpful.
Plus point as they have no service charge and no 7% GST on the bill and they only accept Nets or Cash. Food portion is decent for 3 and taste just reminded me to Thailand. Yes, they are operate by Thais native (commonly). Although they are crowds but the wait time is decent. Pork cake is slightly salty but tasty. The ingredients they put in the Seafood Tom Yum Souo are generous amount of fish, prawn, squid and mushroom. Steamed sea bass is value for money if you got many people on the table. Thai lime sauce just won’t go wrong every time, it’s appetizing and the garlic chili just make the perfect match to the dish. A good meal needs to end with sweet Thailand famous “mango sticky rice”. It’s unbelievable tasted just like those in Thailand (except for the mango). Bon petite.
good and polite staff
food taste is good
mango sticky rice must try
2nd visit- Good food, basil pork & pad Thai 👍,.. 1st visit - Thai style stream fish fresh and nice!! Variety of choice for selection for our family of 5, authentic traditional Thai food love it..
Visited here a couple of times.
Dishes were generally good. The most recent visit came with more people, came up to $12/pax for 5 dishes. The Moo Ping and Omelettes were standouts, whilst the tom yum soup was ok.
For individual dishes, the noodle options (e.g pad thai) is much better than the rice options (e.g fried rice).
Conclusion: come here in big groups to order dishes because its alot tastier than the individual-portioned food.
Even if you are not craving for Thai food, try this restaurant. I assure you that you will love the food here! Have been eating in this restaurant for years, superb standard!
Red tomyum in a claypot ,similar to Golden mile Thai food shops but I still miss the Thai Tom yum there
Service staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Food options were good, but was on the salty side so maybe request for less salt when ordering.
Quite a nice place for Thai food. The $30 lemon soup steam fish is probably the highlight of my meal there. A pity they don’t serve the black pepper tanghoon prawn that I was craving for. Total bill of $75 for 3 pax. Only cash or nets payment. Take note.
Love the pork skewers, yum yum.. 😋
2nd visit to their new shop at Serangoon. It was located at Loyang previously. Value for money.
Tom yom soup is the best, and too hot, but so good. Try out other dishes like crustaceans, veggies and chicken winglets. Super nice wooden chair...
Came on a weekday lunch time at 12 plus. Can be quite crowded. Waited quite long as their kitchen is small.
Ordered a set lunch Thai basil (can choose between chicken or pork). Comes with a black tea. Can top up to ice lemon tea or Thai milk tea for 30cents or 50cents.
Very fresh mince chicken, marinated sauce with a fantastic egg. Rice is fresh and grainy. 👍
Tuck away from the bursting main stream of restaurant lies an authentic Thai restaurant at Changi Village. Very tasty food such as Red curry pork, prawn in yellow curry & their Tom Yum.
Great food great service ! Must try 👍🏻
Decent Thai food with affordable price.. if you like spicy pls asked them to add more...
One of the authentic thai food that you may want to try. ordered this basil minced pork with rice and it taste almost the same i had in thailand (except the spiciness, thailand one is maybe 5x more spicy?) and lastly order their mango sticky rice and surprisingly the mango is so sweet compare to those i had in other thai restaurant in sg. highly recommended
ps forget to take photo of food
nice food hehe but wish they had pineapple fried rice🤗
Very tasty and value for money! Highly recommend the tom yum noodle soup, basil pork rice.
Disappointing . Ordered 3 dishes to go. Pork with rice (tasteless) , chicken and prawn omelette so so . Taste was bland and service poor . No condiments given. These little things no need to ask , should be packed and ready . If not then at least offered to customer before handing over the food items .
Authentic yummy Thai food 😋
Minus 1 star coz they are still out of stock on the Thai noodles .. my fav 101-103 still missing in action 😦
Crazy good mango sticky rice. The best in SG - by far.
Nice Thai eatery at Changi village. Good food, fairly good ambience and reasonable price. Service not absolutely friendly but passable. We had basil pork with rice, omelette with pork n pork cake. There's no honey chicken on the menu which was surprising. Basil pork was good and the omelette was nice n crispy. The pork cake didn't taste much of pork and was quite rubbery. Not really my taste
The food was good but it took about 30 mins to arrive.
Very good thai food, good for quick lunch.
Food:
Tried their seafood fried rice, minced pork, deep fried omelette and Sambal kangkong
The minced pork was quite good, deep fried omelette was excellent and fried rice was decent (good but nothing special)
The Sambal kangkong tasted slightly below average
Service: The servers serve and clean up but do not take orders. Nothing wrong and is ok.
The food came very long after ordering (approx 40 mins). This felt actually quite long than it was.
Price is reasonable (slightly good? for restaurant price) , location is accessible and the place design is nothing special
Hands-down best Thai food on the island! Favorites are the tom yum soup and flower clams. Unfortunately they don't take reservations.
Amazing Thai Food!
Must try their Meat Ball; super mouthwatering!
Their Stir fried Basil with meat dishes are not too spicy, so nudge them a little when ordering if you love a bit more kick!
Thai food, no pretense. Tasty too. I borrow their stock to cook too. Bring more pax to try their range. Solo cannot eat so much. Haven't eaten the full repertoire but slowly and surely will tick all the boxes. No green curry BTW.
Nice. Came back again 2 weeks later :)
Great Thai food at a very reasonable price. Clear Tom Yam soup and Red Curry are yummy but the best dish is the Baked Prawns
Pocket friendly prices. doesn't taste as salty as some Thai food. I wonder abt the no msg, how can fish sauce not have msg? BUT the food is really tasty. Have dined 3 times here. Most of the dishes are delectable.
Great food and flexible to adjust the spiciness (sharing with kids)
The food is excellent and spice definitely not watered down. Love that the food is so authentic!! Only complain I have is the staff are just so bleah… ‘unwelcoming’ and because you have to pay for your food and drinks first. It was just too troublesome to keep getting up to get beers and drinks.
You can sample unpretentious rustic thai food on this most eastern part of Singapore. I like the well designed deco that heightens a sense of anticipation while waiting for the food to arrive. Menu consists of set meals to cater for groups although I thought that there was greater option to order some of their signature ala carte dishes such as their deep fried garlicky wings. The food was served right from their pan and reminded me of comforting home cooked food.Their ice cold lemon grass and black tea are excellent thirst quenchers on hot lazy afternoon. Do note that only cash or netts are accepted.
Thai good restaurant that is no provided Pad Thai.
The food is amazing, ambience is nice and staff are very warm and prices are reasonable .
My wife says this is “ the best Thai food “ she has had in SG.
Definitely recommend a visit .
The tom kha gai was so good!! Would definitely come back in future as we felt that the dishes were delicious and not too overpriced.
Authentic Thai food , home cooked like !
Good flavourful and authentic food. Efficient service.
Yummy authentic Thai in a quaint location.
Good Thai dishes with reasonable prices. Service good. Like this place. Nearby parking may be abit difficult to find.
Great Thai food in cozy clean atmosphere without the being pricey. No service nor gst is a definite bonus.
Tried the basil minced pork rice with egg and the Thai green milk tea and it was fantastic! Worth every penny!
Good food reasonable price. Highly recommended. Accepts CDC voucher!!!
Was mostly good, reasonable prices. However I'm sorry to say that their otah (not cheap) was not to our liking. Too mushy, not firm
Delicious Thai food served here. Reasonable price.
Beer too expensive. My husband drank small bottle of chang beer cost $7.
Recommend the mooping
Just normal thai food squid and fish not fresh
Decent Thai food and prices
Great Thai food in Changi Village..
Have more variety of food choices. Very tasty. Prices are reasonable.
