The food quality is not bad, but the fry chicken is a little dry. It is a little pricey, with a total cost of about $170. Sweet and sour pork feels like meat, unlike in some places added a lot of flour. The duck tastes a little overpowering the yam. Fry bee Hoon is worth the order.

May2023 First visit & wasn’t disappointed. All the dishes and desserts were very tasty. My only gripe is the price of Chinese tea which was $7.8++ per head !! Try avoiding tables that are directly beneath the spot lights because it can get quite warm on a hot day. Staff were attentive and courteous. Update-Aug 2023 Food & services still top notch.

My first visit to this branch, having visited the Kitchener and Jurong Point branches years ago, we thought we'd drop by and support them after reading good things about them recently. The place is your typical Chinese restaurant, busy with both patrons and staff. The service was very good. Putien serves great Heng Hua (Xinghua) cuisine. We enjoyed their Ca Fen (擦粉）which pairs well with pepper and vinegar. There's a 20 minute wait for the Fried Oyster Omelette, but it's worth the wait, as it was done somewhat differently from the regular ones. The cockles, while small, were fresh and delicious. The staff was warm, efficient and friendly, and added to the dining experience. It's a great place to go for Heng Hua food, and I would recommend it

Love everything about here. Good quality food, always satisfied! My favourite dishes are stir fried yam, fried bee Hoon, lor mee ! Great place for family and kids and big groups to share the dishes! Service is above average.

The service here is way way better than the raffles city outlet. Was informed the dining time limited to one hour, we are two pax so the dinner could be quick but for big group gathering might be a bit rush. Enjoyed the food thanks 👍

Pricing is reasonable. Good food quality and tasty. The beehoon is great. 4stars is for the food. Environmental is unwelcoming, probably I come late at 225pm. I double confirmed if they don't mind else I could understand they want to rest as I heard a young lady said 'wah still got customer coming in meh'. The young man accepted my walk in. While a lady was taking my order, another tall lady approached her and told her right in front me ' faster, kitchen want to close'. First visit to Putien recommended by friends as usually I only having Japanese food. Order done in 236pm. Food served fast, complete in 245pm. Finished my meal and left at 308pm. Rushing like hell, as all the staffs are just right behind me. Having their lunch where I absolutely understand but as professional seem u accepted me, shouldn't talking, chatting and laughing loudly behind me. Although food is tasty but a bit too rush and noisy, unable to enjoy at all. Maybe should try ION outlet next time as my friend is regular there and better services

The standard of food has been mostly consistent. However, the set meal menu could be better. In 6-person Set A, there's sea cucumber and abalone. Both are accompanied by large amounts of tough pork belly and undercooked broccoli. This results in two very similar looking and tasting dishes that feel like a practical joke.

We have always loved going to this restaurant for stomach-warming dishes that gives homestyle meals vibes. I love that regardless of which outlets they are, food and staff services are always consistent. Most impressionable of all, this restaurant is very child-friendly and offers complimentary meal (usually healthy porridge with small side dishes) with children cutleries. Very thoughtful of them.

Family friendly. They literally watched my first born grew up, pregnancy days and my second born. They were very detailed in reminding me about pregnancy safe dishes. Love their interactions with my kids and all the staffs are very friendly. Always happy to see them for dinner with our kids! Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant. They even have free kids meals, consisting of fried rice, and sweet n sour pork. Not a fixed menu for kids, but this is what my kids had that night. Service is tip top, they try their best to accomodate requests.

Oyster omelette more flour than egg or oyster. Was served lukewarm too. Not sure why they cannot serve all the dishes at once. The soup came first (western dining?) , then 5 min later, the oyster omelete, 5 min later the beehoon.

Wonderful service from the crew at this outlet! I went there with my family and the staff serving us was polite, accommodative and very patient. By far the best outlet I have been to and also the only outlet that actually told me there was a Putien membership (when I have been visiting other outlets so many times but not one soul told me about the membership?!)
