Reviews of Ramiza Biryani Dam
8 dollars for a plate of mutton briyani.
Not the cheapest, but taste is good.
I like that the rice isnt too oily.
Was surprised that the stall was able to charge $2 for extra chutney, but i totally understood why once i tried it.
The sharpness of flavours perfectly balances the richness of the fall of the bone tender mutton.
Queue is usually about 6 people ahead of you during peak hour, but each customer buys at least 2 to 3 packets.
Never dissatisfied with Ramiza’s briyani ever since they stepped foot at Geylang! Think they’re the best!
Been craving since the market was closed for 3 months and I just came back from holidays!
Must have it whenever I’m in Geylang and highly recommend!
Came here after the post lunch time crowd for some lunch and happened upon this store. My gosh the briyani was fantastic. Easily one of the best briyanis I’ve had in Singapore! Aromatic, fragrant and not too overpowering. Love it will definitely be back for more
The Dum Chicken Biryani was very fragrant with spices and herbs. The rice was perfectly fluffy and not clumpy and the chicken leg was moist and well-cooked.
There was the spiced onion gravy below the rice which was flavourful and well seasoned though a tad oily personally. The sweet mixed fruit achar was a welcome addition; but I feel that it didn't need the potato & vegetable dal which seemed out of place and more suited to a chapati or parata. (Will ask them not to give that the next time)
Not for those who want chili spice in their biryani and the $8 a tad pricey (imo) for the size of chicken, though generous with the rice.
Had mutton dum biryani ($8), was ok.
Best dam Biryani! Rice is very moist and the meat soft!
