Good ambience, good live music performance (by Paraneox), good service and good food.
J. L.Food so so...service too slow, can feel not enough staff. We sit at open air, so there is a band. It's not super great, but can still listen. Open air is nice to sit, a lot of fresh air due to it located at the golf club.
M. P.Our choice restaurant for great tze char and seafood dishes in Sembawang area, which comes with a splendid sunset view over the golf course.
The place was formerly run under "Ocean Spoon". The new restaurant "Red Lantern" now offers a greater varieties of delicious tze char dishes, live seafood and Western cuisine. The seafood is fresh and affordable. We ordered 5 dishes for a family of 5, and the bill was under $100.
Currently, restaurant is having promotional offer for drunken prawns at $9.90 - certainly worth going for it! We will surely come back again for our family meals.
j.Food is only average in taste and presentation. Steam fish (soon hock) is ok however it's a little pricey compared with market rates. Was disappointed with the prawn paste chicken... Chicken is not fresh and the dish was poorly done. More than half of the plate was untouched, as we felt it was below par. Service was good though. Environment was satisfactory.

A. C.Contrary to the negative reviews, I had a good experience at the restaurant. Wanted to try the restaurant as there’s live band performance too. Do remember to make a reservation beforehand as there are limited sheltered seats near the band. Went around 6.30pm on a Friday and food was served within 30min. I enjoyed the live band performance by Germaine and Danny which lasted from around 7.30pm-11pm. They were really engaging! The music wasn’t too loud and I could talk to my friends comfortably. Will recommend this place to people who would like to have decent seafood and chill with their friends. Will come back again!

They ordered fish head stove, chili crab, stir-fried green dragon vegetables, and sizzling tofu.
The fish head stove has rich meat and rich soup, the crabs are plump and fresh, the green dragon vegetables are crisp and delicious, and the sizzling tofu sauce is very unique and delicious.
After eating so many homemade dishes, she was finally satisfied.
Last but not least, my mother-in-law also said that the waiters there are very diligent, friendly and enthusiastic.

I. C.Such a hidden gem for dinner. I went to the 2nd level which has nice ambience with strings of warm lights and sky/moon above us.Staff was helpful. Food was reasonably good depending on what you order.. Restaurant has even engaged singers rvery night to entertain us while we eat. Good music. You must try at least once.
