Saffron sips is the place if you are looking for a comprehensive dining experience of Indian food with all the aspects taken care like ambience, hospitality besides the food. The only place where you get the authentic Indian food coupled with a serene ambience ; overseeing the Bedok reservoir with the whistling sound of wind greeting you time to time. The chef Sourav is trained under a renowned Michelin guide rated Chef who brings all his expertise to the fore to actually bring the natural taste of the food that is served.

My family and I had dal tadka, paneer butter masala, garlic naan, tandoori roti. It was very tasty, 10/10, don’t have to go all the way out to Little India for North Indian food. Would definitely come back again. They also had a wide variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Servers were great too!

Went here last night - have been waiting for it to open since Burp went out of business. Friendly staff, bright interior, comfortable seating, and good food with decent portions. We had the mango lassi (not too sweet which was great), veg pokoda, butter chicken (asked for not spicy for our daughter and it came with just the right amount of spice), palak paneer, butter naan, and basmati rice. Everything came out in decent time and tested great. Water was provided free of charge. We ordered through the app - the place is new so not all the photos are uploaded yet but it’s common fare and they’ll be adding them soon. I believe there was the option to modify or add notes but we just told our server. We’re excited to have this nice Indian restaurant addition to the Bedok reservoir area.

Visited Saffron Sips with work friends for a meaningful farewell gathering to celebrate a colleague’s last day. The food was exceptional, with the pomfret fish and methi chicken standing out as personal favorites. Each dish showcased the main ingredients beautifully, with well-balanced sauces that complemented rather than overpowered the flavors. A special shoutout to Chef Sourav for crafting these culinary masterpieces! The restaurant also offers an impressive selection of drinks, making it an ideal spot for both dining and unwinding. The ambiance was delightful, and the stunning view of Bedok Reservoir added a memorable touch to the experience. Highly recommended for great food, drinks, and an unforgettable setting!

If you are looking for ‘tasty Indian cuisine made with love’ then I would recommend you to visit this humble restaurant. We were skeptical from the outside as it was not a busy Saturday evening however we were completely blown away by the authentic North Indian dishes served in this restaurant. We ordered Mutton Biryani too along with Chicken Tikka Masala, Kulcha, Garlic Naan, Jeera Rice and they aced in all dishes. The ‘mutton’ was tender and juicy (as supposed to) from fresh young goat as opposed to frozen meat from sheep which usually tends to be chewy. Even the drinks were top class.. try the Masala Coke or Lassi to assist in nice wind down! We will be back some day (as we live in West!).

I dined at this incredible restaurant twice, and both visits were outstanding. Set in a stunning location overlooking a serene reservoir, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The food is delicious, especially the must-try paneer tikka, crafted by Michelin-starred chefs with experience in Dubai and Malaysia. Delicious food! We had dhal makhani and tandoori pomfret and they were both delicious. Pomfret is big enough to share with two and it's sublime! Will definitely be back (and sorry for the broken plate)...
