Reviews of Sakon Thai Village
I’m a huge Thai food lover and the dishes here were pretty authentic IMO!
Both the Tom Yum Seafood Noodle Soup and Phad Thai Seafood were the must-order items! The former was spicy but super shiok, while the latter tasted just like the real stuff I get in Thailand.
Service was good and didn’t have to wait long for the food to be served.
Love their food! Tom yum seafood was spicy and shiok and prawns were fresh too!! My gal loves the Tiger Prawns vermicelli alot and ate almost 3/4 of it. Lemongrass drink was also so good. Helps to.chill me down after having the Tom Yum soup.
Strong great flavors and a wide range of items on the menu. Pretty decent place for family dinners.
All items ordered for the night were pretty decent, but I'd pay special attention to the Vermicelli and Crispy tofu.
The chili that came with the salted egg fried rice was also pretty awesome.
Do watch out for the spice levels - even the tumeric chicken was hot-spicy.
Sakhon T.V is located near macdonalds, just beside the taxi & passenger drop and off area.
Was there for dinner. Their beef kway teow is nice, though some beef slices were overcooked and tough. The fried fish with Thai sauce did not work for me, it feels like eating flour rather than fish. Bbq chicken was okay, but could not make out what the sauce was.
Must-try is their prawn vermicelli, flavourful with wok hei. Would be even better if the dish was served in a mini wok instead of on a plate.
Worth a visit for decent, value-for-money Thai food with a nice ambiance. Sakon Thai’s entrance is located outside of Seletar Mall on level 1.
Recently dined with the following menu:
The Tom Yum Seafood Hor Fun was a flavor bomb—spicy and comforting! The Prawn Vermicelli was also a hit, super tasty and packed with prawns.
The Pineapple Fried Rice was a nice mix of sweet and savory, and it’s definitely one of the must-order. The crispy chicken was also something I would order again! The crisp was so good paired with it’s own sweet chilli sauce :)
We also ordered Thai Iced Milk Tea and Thai Iced Green Milk Tea—both were super refreshing and not too sweet. Along with Lemongrass Cold drink was a perfect way to cool off.
Overall, great vibes and delicious food! Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.
Loved everything that we had. Id say it's fusion cos they also serve localised thai version of some dishes. Loved the atmosphere. It's cosy and really nice interiors. People are warm too. Definitely a must try of you are thai food lover like me
Food are nice . Especially Prawn Vermicelli, Pad thai seafood and Pineapple fried rice ! Highly recommended and its suitable for kids too . Tom yum Seafood horfun is good if you take spicy food . The thai milk tea and green tea is nice not too sweet . Taste good and portion are generous . Ambience is good , very clean and staff are friendly and attentive . Location is convenient just out right outside of the pick up point.
Me and my husband is back at this place for the second time and the food here is delicious. It's probably one of, if not the best Thai Food we've eaten. I reordered the Kuay Teow (Seafood) for myself and Tom Yum Fried Rice for my husband, both with egg. We also added on a Stir Fried Mushroom Kai Lan on the side. Spice level is suitable for our tastebuds. Bonus, this place is also Halal Certified. We will definitely come back again and order different dishes.
Nice place to visit if you are looking for Halal Thai Food. I really enjoy my foods here, you must try their Tom Yum Seafood Hor Fun. All the dishes portion is good and also affordable price. I definitely recommend this to let you try with friends and family!
Went for Thai cuisine and they didn't disappoint us.! Enjoyed the foods there, we ordered totally 3 dishes
1.Red tom yom soup
2.pineapple fried rice
3.and for sweet taste we choose their authentic mango sticky rice
and as a free complementary they served us their crispy chicken drumlet which taste very good for free of cost 😸 and the special mention goes to a mini luggage purse 👜 which is also a free gift the gift is very memorable one because they printed the restaurant's logo and Name in it
Over all their services and the ambience is neat and clean🤗
First time knowing that there is this Thai store near me, so decided to try it out, the food is prepared freshly so when the food come is hot n nice, love their ice green milk tea!
Their store very nice, filled with Thai decorations, as if i am in Thailand already, very nice place.
We ordered the value set for three, shared by four, at Sakron Thai for lunch. The red tom yum soup was spicy and aromatic, the tender turmeric chicken with special Thai sauce was flavorful, the whole crispy seabass was perfectly cooked, and the mango sticky rice was a delightful finish.
The attentive and friendly service crew made the experience even better.
Delicious thai food in your neighbourhood! I love the tom yum soup and pad thai. Satisfied my thai food craving
Went to Sakon Thai and I like that their menu is crafted with authentic ingredients and traditional recipes to ensure each dish captures the bold and vibrant flavours Thailand is known for.
We had Thai Basil rice,Honey Chicken with rice, Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet with rice and Thai Bbq Beef with rice and all of it were so good!
Paired with lemongrass drinks and green thai milk tea is the best. Will definitely be back again and most importantly, it's pocket friendly too!
I love the Thai Cusines here! The spicy levels can be a great kick for those who enjoy spicy food! Yet there’s also options for non-spicy lovers here.
Lunch set is very worth it as it comes with a drink. You can also try the tapioca cake it’s
Super good!
Very underrated and offers one of the best fried rice dishes on the island, with a very unexpected tang to the chili. The dish name is very long, and therefore very delicious. I think it's thai style salted egg fried rice with minced chicken. With every bite I feel ready to lengthen the name with more awards and accolades.
The set meals here are pretty affordable, especially cos they're meant for twonpax and above. The food quality here is also pretty good; really tasty and consistent.
The biggest gripe is the complimentary plate of fried chicken we got cos of minimum spend (I assume, cos they didn't specify). We couldn't finish it and wanted to take it to-go, but they said we weren't allowed to. So they'd rather waste the food and throw it out than have us finish it at home? In this economy, we're still OK with food wastage? So disappointing and it doesn't make sense.
Basil Chicken and Kangkong not bad, should give it a try, the price is reasonable too, $ 39.90 2 pax set meals, after services and GST is less than $ 50.
I came here for lunch alone. There wasn't much of a crowd. Sat in a cozy place. Halal thai food. I would have given it 4 stars but the popiah they served me was not cooked proper and 1 of it was still partially frozen. I sent it back to the kitchen. Food tasted average. Eat to satisfy your thai food craving but there are other places if you are looking for tasty thai food.
Thai basil chicken here is to die for!!! Inexpensive as well. Worth it.
Dined in here with my two kids yesterday night. Ladies that assisted were really helpful and proactive. Food was one of the best thai foods i've experienced for awhile. Shout out to the team for always maintaining a smile despite the crowd. Only downside for me was price. definitely on the higher side. Would come back again for sure for my thai fixes.
Really love the food! Really authentic thai food hahaha love the atmosphere too! Oh! And the thai milk tea YUMS
Food was good and satisfied my cravings for thai food!
Nice food … And A lot of menu to choose from, !!
Wow! The food is authentic. The best Thai food I had. The taste tingle your taste bud and your soul. Super good.
Tried the red ruby dessert today again. This time, there is practically no water chestnut but hard flour, cutting down on ingredients, bad move.
Food is good, staff is friendly, v little people cause its kinda at the back if you know what i mean. Thai food quite legit
Food is fairly priced for the venue. Had the Pad Thai and Papaya said which was good.
Worth a try.
Food are served hot and delicious. Service staff are very friendly and warmth. Prices are economical and value for money.
Had take away from here. Food taste is very good. Svr wise is good at counter. I feel the Price is reasonable.😀😀
Sambal fried rice and Tom yum is good.
Tom yum don't taste like Tom yum, it's like mixture of Kimchi
Please remove your service charge will be great
Food was delicious
We ordered pineapple fried rice, a coconut, fried fish cake and fried seafood kuetiaw. All were good. However, the complimentary fried chicken was a great disappointment. It was too salty. Price wise, the final bill was reasonable. The restaurant can only a limited number of customers because it is quite small.
We ordered pineapple fried rice, coconut, fried fish cakes and fried seafood cakes. all is well. However, the free fried chicken was a huge disappointment. Too salty. Price wise, the final bill was reasonable. Since the restaurant is small, it can only accommodate a limited number of customers.
You must eat their Thai food, the price is reasonable and the environment is good, ya g ini hala sayang 😍😍😍
