My go to place for delicious finger licking sambar , Thosai, idly and rice meals. Many wonderful family and business gatherings. Generous servings and affordable prices all year round. Air-conditioned and tucked in a cosy corner of SAFRA Mt. Faber club.

Great food, just a bit overpriced. Chicken biryani is so satisfying and has a very big portion. Still, I rather commute to Little India where I can feast more for much cheaper. Careful the outside seats, may get mosquitoes sometimes.

The Indian cuisine at Sakunthala has all the richness of spice you’ve been looking for. Whether it is the colour, taste, aroma or flavour, you will be impressed by how each dish represents true Indian cooking. “Outstanding and authentic south Indian cuisine in a no frills ambience. Focus is on nice clean wholesome awesome tasty and lip smacking food that tickles the tastebuds with extreme joy. A not to miss experience.

The food quality is amazing. The Ala carte order and the tandoori items are just so mouth watering compared to rest of the branches. I have been eating at race course and syed alwi branch from a long time and then my friend suggested me to go to safra mount Faber branch and i am must say the food quality of the Ala carte items and the drinks are far better than rest of the branches. Sakunthalas best branch is Safra mount Faber. The only negative thing was the service men was not understanding my order and couldn't explain the items to me. And the service is slow. But the food quality is amazing and enjoyed all the delicacies

Came here the first time to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Everything here are so amazing. Love the food and the service. One of the crew, Mohd Muhahid especially, provide me and family a splendid service. Thumbs up to him and the crew here. Will definitely come again. It is hard to get good service nowadays ‘ Keep it up Mujahid 👍👍

Sakunthala’s takeaway mutton set is everyone’s most popular choice for group game nights. Huge halal portions. Veggies are unusually tasty and the curries are delicious. And there are there so many sauces to confuse the indecisive. Idk why they even bother to sell anything else when the mutton is so delish.

Daily veg is great! Staff were helpful. Prawn masala yum. Pepper chicken was a bit tough. Masala tea at $2.30 a mug. Pricing was reasonable.
