Reviews of Salad & Cream
Chanced upon this gem of a hawker stall at Yishun Park Hawker Centre manned by a young lady. For $6.90, this chicken bowl was huge! My kid loved the broccoli soup (not in pic, that’s one way for children to eat their vege). All the best to this young hawker!
This salad stall is underrated, the quality and portion are really good and worth it for the price. Their grilled chicken legs are always juicy, tender and flavorful. The owner is very friendly and remembers what you like/don’t like. Maybe one thing that can be improved is the variety of sides.
I’ve been frequenting this salad shop for about half a year. Portion sizes are superb and the food’s tasty! The stall owner has a good flavour palette and all the side options complement well with your main. And it’s also priced extremely well and doesn’t burn a hole in your wallet! It’s affordable and there are days where I grab both lunch and dinner from her. Due to the variety, it doesn’t get boring for me.
There’s a veggie and rice mix as your base in case you aren’t ready to completely cut out your carbs. Plus there’s usually an option for mashed potatoes or pasta for some carby indulgence.
She also doesn’t use iceberg lettuce which is great. I’ve tried both her fish and chicken options which are well marinated and tasty.

After the renovation, it’s still as great as ever and the owner has spiced things up with more stuff on the menu. I’m thankful there wasn’t a price increase
love the poke bowl here. Generous portion and value for money! Food is really yummy and healthy and i crave for it everyday!
Great healthy option in the neighbourhood! Though simple, the salad was tasty and affordable. Grilled prawn was my choice of protein, and it was cooked upon ordering. There was a wide range of sauces to choose from too
Will definitely be back! Hope to see more protein options like chicken breast and nutritional info
Affordable healthy meal in heartland. Design of stall is nice and attract young people, however, remember that this is a hawker. There is area for improvement in terms of visibility of menu, flow of ordering process , etc.
Can learn from how subway and stuff’d indicate their ordering process on panel to guide their customer. Payment should be the last part so you allow customer to add additional sides at extra cost.
Probably the tastiest salad I’ve ever tried!! Love the variety and the fresh ingredients◡̈
Have been looking for a healthy option in this area for a long time and this stall definitely hits the spot. Love the flavours and the price is definitely worth it!
Huge portion and very tasty, though i did not take any dressing. Reasonable priced and healthy, will patronise this stall again
Very affordable and portion is generous. The vegetables are fresh and fruits are sweet. My favorite go to stall for a healthy meal! Closed on Monday and Friday.
Ordered Grilled Chicken leg salad @ $6.90 big portion & super worth it😊 very tasty~ me and my husband decided instead of self make next time just come dabao from here will do, less troublesome 😁
(*timbre app will get 10% discount)
Generous portions for the price. Tasty as well. Can consider having more sides options
. Value for money
Glad to have a healthy option in the heartlands. The food is affordable and portions are good!
Price is affordable and ingredients is fresh. Support young hawkers !!!
The best Salad in Yishun.
Love it !
As someone who likes salad, have to say that this is a really value-for-money option- the portion is big and the vege used are fresh. You can get a side for $0.90 as an add on, a base from $1 (including rice and soba) and a protein from $3.50. $6.90 bowls are already big enough for small eaters!
However, u do need to add your own sauce to the base which comes Cajun but the proteins/ sides are nicely seasoned. The grilled chicken is tender and the prawns are well- cooked. The smoked salmon is at 25g per serving ( so some might think it’s quite little).
The selection might not be as great as some bento bowls (eg no quinoa or rocket leaves) but the value more than makes up for it.
Highly recommend this store :)
