I ordered the Ebiko Chicken Burger Set ($7.95) for lunch, and was thoroughly disappointed, especially for the price. The burger (9th, 10th picture) at first glance felt like an "Expectation vs. Reality" moment, especially since the burger bun was pitifully skinny. The taste, however, was amazing, and I recommend it to anyone who wants a very good burger and does not mind the looks. The burger alone costs $5.95 for 1 patty and $8.15 for 2 patties. The fries tasted bland and were not crispy at all. I have no idea if it is because of the condensation on the packaging or if it is my overly high expectations, given that McDonald's serves the exact same type of fries. Plain fries cost $2.95 for a small portion and $4.50 for a big portion. The drink (Lemon Sprite) tasted like regular Sprite, and cost $2.95 for a cup. One thing that I think they could improve on is to change the bun that they use. I can't help but think people may be disappointed by how the burger looks chronically different from the picture. There are burger places out there (e.g. McDonald's) that serve decent-looking buns for cheaper too, and there isn't much excuse why they can't do the same. The staff could also look more motivated. While I was waiting to collect my order, the lady on duty that day (04112024) looked as if she did not want to be there that day. I also noticed that after wearing her mask she did not wash her hands before handing food.

Finally opened one at west side, been travelling all the way to Bugis just to get a bite of this Shiok-ness!
