We tried Madness burger, Beef brisket, onion rings, tater tots, beer battered chicken. Absolute divine. The beef rice was just perfect for my Asian pallet! First time ever I had western spicy sauces that have perfect amounts of spiciness, umami’s and tangy taste. It’s just so wild how everything is so wholesome. The owner recommended good stuffs to us!!

Not my first time here, but I've not been here for ages! We ordered the pork ribs and pulled pork. So glad that quality and standards still remain the same! This is a good place to chill and dine at if you are around Joo Chiat area!

Go on Thursdays for their $10 burgers (update, now it's $12) that comes served with fries and happy hour all day! Baby back ribs were not too shabby though my dining companion thinks they were a touch tough. Corn bread was a surprise. Fries were great, onion rings a lil too greasy for me though my companion thinks otherwise. Real onion rings :p Overall, will be back for sure. Service was excellent too. P.s $1 buffalo wings on Wednesdays!

Finally a place where all Canadians and hockey fans can call home! Great atmosphere for drinks and food and hockey game on tv. The steak here is good quality meat and cooked well with solid sides. Must come back sometime to try their craft beer on tab. The owner also sponsors local ice hockey team in SIHA. A true fan and promoter of hockey.

Was brought to this place and it was porkylicious. Tried the cider for Toffee Apple and it was something different and tasty. Their baby back ribs was simply soft and delicious. Tender and juicy. The pulled pork sandwich was stuffed till it can't go into my mouth. Needs more gravy else it will be slightly dry. Their buffalo wings is a must try. Take the spicy ones. Those who can't handle spicy, their dips of blue cheese will ease that burn. Great atmosphere and friendly staffs.

When I saw that this place was owned by Americans I had hopes for the bbq meats but it turned out to be quite middling. The bbq sauce waa uneven on the meats, the meat is itself was quite dry and bony. The babyback ribs was not tender and juicy but clearly having a midlife crisis. The corn bread was disappointing. But they seem to have a good selection of beers.

Made this my Mother’s Day dinner, 2 years in a row. Didn’t get to dine in there due to restriction but the food tasted great even from the boxes. If you can only order an item, go for the wet rub brisket. Tender and flavourful. Reminds me of my Alabama days. Wish list - hot links (sausages), white toast, cornbread, half and half sweet tea.

Come for everything else but the food. Service and atmosphere was nice, and possibly the drinks (which we didn't order). We had baby ribs (didn't really shine, felt more dry and lacking flavour, had to douse with the sauce provided separately). Smoked beer battered fish was interesting, good really taste the smokiness but unfortunately along with excessive grease and limp fish quality). Fries and sweet potato fries were passable. Coleslaw was good. Couldn't bring myself to finish the food...

3rd time back! This time round, the got the order wrong. We wanted the chilli cheese beef burger and the texas burger but the waitress heard it wrongly somehow and gave us a texas burger with ADDED chilli cheese beef on it and it destroyed the whole burger. So I'm just wondering, why didn't the chef question such a weird combination of burger ??? Besides that screw up, everything else was good. Order their chillies beef nachos, the sauce was fantastic! Finally found this familiar taste after 2 decades of searching. Last similar taste was in USA. We also ordered smoked baby back ribs & St Louis pork ribs combo. The baby ribs are the best! Soft, juicy and meat drop off the bone. St Louis was a little disappointing, meat was well smoked but tougher. Meat sticked to bone. Lastly, The Monster medium rare 🍔, it's absolutely delicious, tasty and lots of fries. Definitely will come back again for the chillies nachos, baby back ribs & Burger. Possibly will try out beef short ribs next time too.

Quite like the ambience here, very American with their self brewed beers & a wide range of wine to go with the food. We had grilled salmon, baby pork rib rack & St Louis spare rib, papa Robbie burger & their signature Smokey's classic burger. The salmon was light & grilled just right with crispy skin. The baby rack was sweet & tender & full of bbq flavour. The st Louis spare rib which was coated with their house sauce was meaty & tender but rather salty to my liking. The papa burger beef patty was thick & tasty though a little dry. It comes with salad, onion & fries. The Smokey's burger beef patty was dry & come separate with the onion & pickles, though I would prefer tat they were stacked into the bun & patty. All these were drowned down with Deschutes twilight ale & Heretic EZ juices IPA. Total bill: $178.90.

Decent ribs, above-average prices, but be prepared to wait over an hour for mains even when the restaurant isn't full. pros Ribs are decent, full rack ($51 st Louis; $41 baby back) is generous and comes w 2 sides. cons Waiting time -- starters came out in about 30 min, but mains took more than an hour to be served, even though the restaurant wasn't full. Avoid the garlic bread (seemed like they'd microwaved frozen garlic bread) Texture of the smoked fish was too tough

Arguably one of the best baby back ribs. It literally fell off the bones and the bbq sauce are yummy. Fantastic selection of beers as well. Service was prompt and they don't try to push the more expensive stuff into your face. Overall a very enjoyable dinner.

My go-to place for American grill having lived in the Katong area for years. However, I felt they could’ve gave more fries and also the tar tar sauce was chargeable when I asked for it. Also had to pay extra to change the coleslaw to onion rings. Really hope smokey’s wouldn’t stinge in small areas like these, considering that I’m alr paying $32 for the ribs :/ But food was still delicious as usual :)

The very first time I stepped in here along with a great friend on 12th March 2024 evening and certainly wont be the last. Kudos to service staff 'Mr Kavin', here, the only one I need to point out for that matter, for greeting us with his fantastic enthusiasm and top quality service standards. Truly a gifted man with product knowledge of his inventory and suggesting in a split second what beer and what food to start out with. The only one who was doing all the running for all customers present. Thank you for that Kavin. Overall experience as a first time customer here has been extremely positive with great food, drinks and environment. Will be there again in a week and hope to see the rest of the staff being equally as enthutiastic as Kavin. Smokey location is sitting on a gold mine and service standards should come from the heart for the customers from all and not only Kavin.

We visited Smokey’s as a family about a year ago and I must say the rack of ribs and the hot wings were exceptional. The place was buzzing but we didn't wait long for the grub to arrive, but when it did, my word it was good! Also, if you like your unusual bottled beers you can fill ya boots with at least a hundred of them, if you're brave enough! Great experience all told.

Went on a Sunday evening, it was quiet and was a nice place to chill with friends. Staff was friendly, service was pretty fast and there was a wide selection of beer. Foodwise we had the ribs and chicken wings - ribs were good but the chicken wings were harder than I expected. They were deep fried, so maybe a bit overfried? Overall a good experience and I will come back again!

Great dinner place even for big gatherings! Nice atmosphere to just chill and talk. The place was packed but the staff did not make us feel that we need to hurry, so thanks for that! Food was good generally but a little pricey given what was being served. But the atmosphere/ambience totally made up for that. Will definitely visit again to have a good meal with friends!!

Ordered a takeaway of 2 servings of smoked brisket. Each came with two huge thick slices. The trouble I have with American brisket is that they take the cooking time too far. They obliterate all bounciness of the meat for that fall apart texture. You know what else comes with fall apart texture? Dry stringy meat. No problem with that here. The brisket was juicy, Q like a freaking fishball, and just all around properly done. Tell them to put the sauce on the side instead of on the meat for some control and grab a beer. You're in for a good time.

I've lowered my expectations on Western food in Singapore, particularly steak and ribs. So I was pleasantly surprised that I found a decent pub that sells this stuff. The BBQ baby back ribs in this place is quite awesome: the meat falls right off the bone and the strong smoky flavor of the sauce is just fantastic. I also ordered the BBQ wings, which were so so. The sauce was marvelous though, it was so spicy and sour, just the way I like it! I would have loved for the wings to be marinated in the sauce, and then grilled, rather than serving fried wings (no flavor) w/ sauce on the side. Rating: A- (ribs, B for the wings)

For decades there was only one place that reigned supreme on my best ever Ribs places.. Cafe de Klos in Amsterdam (Netherlands). That is, until I had the pleasure of swabbing the fall-off-the-bone tender ribs served at this establishment. I hesitated to have Smokey's ribs dethrone my mental champion and favorite for years, but I eventually conceded. I live happily knowing I have two fantastic places for a meat-only fix when in need. So tried this place as it’s local, the service was good and attentive but I think the food let’s it down a little. You expect a lot for a 24$ burger but this is simply not worth it, 10$ at best. On a positive they have Brooklyn lager. It’s not that o will not come back again but.....

I had a study abroad experience in Buffalo, New York, and I remember eating a lot of buffalo wings. Whenever that comes to mind, I go to this place to eat. On Wednesdays, there is a sale for $1 a piece of wings, so you can eat them without hesitation. If you want spicy wings that you can eat in Buffalo, I recommend ordering spicy or extra spicy flavor. Ghost? I tried that too, but it tasted unfamiliar. On Wednesdays, instead of having a $1 event, they don't give out celery, but they do provide plenty of cream sauce. For beer, I recommend evil twin if you like dark beer and IPA. Other beers are also good enough.
