It's nice to be back to Compass One branch for our dinner. The food was delicious, especially the signature Samsui chicken and the claypot tofu. Eng Eng, our waitress, is especially friendly and helpful. She not only helped us to secure the ongoing early bird promo when it was close to the cutoff time but also highlighted to us about the Citibank promotion. It was a pleasant experience overall and I'll definitely come back in the future.

Located on the 4th level of Compass Point, Soup Restaurant is a family favorite, especially the signature ginger chicken, we love the radish soup too. The fried rice with bits of sausage was old school. We had ordered the 5pax set meal, food was generous and home-cook feel. Its Samsui Ginger Chicken is a classic, a simple and sincere dish of steamed chicken wrapped in lettuce and complimented with ginger sauce that keeps me salivating. Hear the crunch of the leaves, feel the tenderness of the meat, and smell the fragrance of the sauce. Expected to wait for service.

Soup restaurant comes to our mind when we want to go for a good meal. I enjoyed the food very much. It has a lot of variety and is done to the liking of locals. It also gives good space for group gatherings around their round tables. The staff are also very quick to attend to us on refills of tea. At the end, one of the staff also came to ask us for feedback and she is very friendly to give us Chinese New year blessings. I would definitely recommend Soup restaurant as a good place for family and friends to gather for a delicious meal. They also allow you to make reservations. #ILoveSoupRestuarant

Soup Restaurant at Compass One serves delicious Chinese cuisine. The Signature Samsui Ginger Chicken was enjoyed with crunchy lettuce and sesame oil-ginger dip. The mostly chicken breast meat was tender and completely deboned. We ordered two spicy dishes - Spicy Tofu with Minced Pork, and Black Pepper Tiger Prawns. The tofu went well with steamed rice. The Tiger prawns was good although one of them was mushy. Although there was some upselling for us to order their set menu packages, service was satisfactory. Overall, a good meal.

Quite amazed by the taste of all their food. Portion was enough for 4-6 pax as we ordered the 5 pax set. Added their steamed/cooked/boiled chicken which we love it. Service was fast and efficient. $0.40 for a piece of wet tissue is a little too much! Angry with that. Overall was okay because there weren’t too many people.

The food was up to standard and quite delicious. The staff were mostly senior aunties and they could be quite "Rude". I was mildly reprimanded over the phone by the reservation lady for being abit late, and my orders were taken quite impatiently. However, if you should encounter the same experience as me, please understand that these aunties are working long-hour shifts in a face paced service environment. I personally feel they do not mean to be nasty, but instead just feeling tired and restless after a long day. I hope that everyone can give them a break from the negative comments and not be so quick to judge. If u have the opportunity, i recommend that u give this outlet a try and give some understanding to the staff as well if u were to receive an unwhelming service experience.

Food is pretty good. Had tofu prawns, Sambal Kang Kung, minced meat with chestnut and soup of the day. The service was good. The server who attended to us - Lee Ming was helpful and very friendly with a touch of humour. They didn't chase us out when it was reaching closing time and she still refilled our tea.

I have had the pleasure of ordering food from The Soup Restaurant @ Compass One this CNY and experienced exceptional service from Alicia and her team hustling and bustling about in these extraordinary times. Even though it was a last minute arrangement, Alicia still went out of her way to accommodate to my requests, which was extremely heartwarming. Always loved their homely food fare, but i appreciate the people more. After all, a restaurant with staff willing to go the extra mile is always worth patronising and returning to. Our family has always been loyal customers of Soup Restaurant. To support their 30th Anniversary, we ordered their special set menu online. The order was fulfilled by another branch with great disappointment in their service and food quality. I dropped my feedback and was surprised by the immediate acknowledgement of their HQ Customer Service. Henry arranged for his customer service colleague, Victor and their Compass One branch to rectify the issue specifically. Victor follow-up promptly with a replacement dinner delivery arrangement. This time, we managed to enjoy the good old tasty food, beautiful presentation as if we were dining in. Every dishes has the "wok hei", totally yummy. Both Henry and Victor demonstrated remarkable professionalism and amazing customer service. Thanks for taking care of customers like us. Because you both make a difference, we will return again. Happy 30th Anniversary!

If u are a fan of traditional steamed chicken, then Soup is probably 1 of the better place to go and savour the yummy taste of kampong style chicken 🐔. The good thing about Soup is that not just abt chicken, but it actually has a decent menu of other typical home cooked dishes plus that ever important selection of traditional double boiled soups. Importnat bcos with the busy lifestyle of the modern SG household, it'll be a challenge to find time to prepare soups unless there's a maid on standby or for the lucky ones, dotting parents/grand parents who still have a heart to stress over the hot stove and prepare these soups for their adult kids... 😊 Anyway prices AT Soup are not exactly cheap but quality is very decent although portions are a tad smallish. Will add some picts in due course. Enjoy

This restaurant is popular as one of Singapore's delicious dishes, but I think it deserves more attention. However, I don't like the fact that when a place becomes popular, it becomes crowded and prices go up, making it difficult to go there.
