Reviews of Supply & Demand, Orchardgateway
Ordered the Squid Ink Rissotto with Seared Scallops.
Risotto is not consistent. My peers ordered Risotto also but have better tasting and consistency. There are some good tasting dishes like their Garlic Truffle Fries.
Saving grace is their Oysters. Fresh and easy to go down. Really the highlight of my meal 😋
Went for dinner last week with friends. We had a fried calamari, fresh oysters and sausages as starter; these are really good. I had Risotto, which taste good, the rice texture is a little hard; not to my liking. There is a pizza for sharing, this is good too. As for drinks, I had a Liang Teh Lager, and it is just ok. Not much of Liang Teh taste for information.
Overall, the place has nice food and good environment. There was live singing performance too on the day.
A friend treated me to dinner here on a Friday evening. We ordered the signature pizza, spinach salad, fried drumlets and pork satay to share and they were all delicious. The drinks were tasty and unique too. I had a coconut, cucumber and lychee drink, and it was served in a metal milk(?)/ sauce pot. If you go there on Friday evening, there's even a live performance and you can make your song request by scanning a qr code. It can get too noisy to talk, which was why we chose to sit outside the restaurant.
Food taste is mediocre for this price.
The pizza $25 is probably the most tasteless pizza I ever ate. Chicken is normal. Only thing that is nice is their fries .
Would not be back
Many choices of pizza, the pizza crust is crust and slightly chewy, variety type of fries, surprisingly Oyster was so good 🦪 $2.5 each, better than the one at xxxxx bank, for Live Band timing Friday 630-930pm, Saturday12-3pm & 630-930pm, Sunday 12-3pm only, the Singer delivered amazing performance, fill with emotion & skill, such a nice place to chill and gathering, definitely will come back again.
Dirty cha chaan Teng fries
$17++ for regular
Fried luncheon meat, mozzarella cheese, Japanese mayo, hot siracha sauce
I love this combination. The fries are served piping hot and well paired with the Japanese mayo and siracha. I always order this dish when I dine in.
It’s a good comforting mix of fried luncheon meat and mozzarella cheese. Go for the regular if you’re sharing with someone.
Vodka el salmone
vodka and sautéed onions infused tomato cream sauce with smoked salmon and parsley ($28++ for regular).
This can either be described as a dish that is refreshingly light on the palate, or one that is surprisingly bland. I was hoping for a slightly deeper taste from the vodka, but I could only appreciate the tomato cream sauce.
That being said, texture of the pasta was perfect and the smoked salmon was decent.
Risotto al Frutti di mare seafood risotto
($29++ for regular)
If you like a more powerful combination of flavours, this seafood risotto fulfills that. A nice creamy texture, on a background of chicken broth and Parmesan cheese. The white wine provided nice hints of added flavour. Overall a nice balanced dish.
There was a live band when I went!
Kind of hidden from sight. Hidden in a corner. This place is packed after 12 on weekends. Live singer play around 1pm on weekends. Came for their around the world brunch with many varieties to choose from . Their drinks are good too. Many tend to come here with friends to chill. The vibes are good here. Very laid back atmosphere.. food is fantastic enough because of its wide choices. Mess tin of fries is great for sharing . Quality itself worthy of price point. Wish I had rooms for cakes. Maybe next time.
Wide range of delicious pizza, pasta and more to choose from. Kids we awed by 3 pages of pizza options and 1 page just for different fries options. For adults, good range of drinks & cocktails to choose from. Service from staff was great though a packed crowd.
We ordered the hummus, truffle fries, pizza, carbonara and goma cake.
Food was good overall (especially the goma cake). However the truffle fries barely had any truffle taste and was too heavily salted.
This restaurant is packed on weekends and the attraction is probably the live band and mostly female crowd. The food is actually pretty decent but I’d say the pizza was better than the Vongole pasta (which was rather salty). Service can be slow due to the large number of tables the waitress needs to attend to.
Crowded on Friday evening so it can be rather noisy. The live singing(male singer) was quite good and the service staff are friendly. As we are a bigger group, we get to tried more dishes and overall, most of us rated the food and beverages as average.
Food is decent, service can be improved i asked the waiter for napkins twice in the end i have to go to the counter to get it myself!
One of best pastas and nice dishes and appetisers.
Will come back for ASIAN INSPIRED SPICY SALMON POKE and SPICY SZECHUAN CHILLI INSPIRED AGLIO OLIO.
Great place for big groups food sharing.
Overall satisfy with all the food we ordered.
Awesome signature pizza generously loaded with toppings. The ravioli with white wine sauce with clams was umami good. The oysters were small but fresh and decent. Nice cosy dim lit interior with a modern-rustic charm. Solo live singer-songwriter during dinner serving made the atmosphere even more lively than it already was. Looks like a great place for a fun group or family outing. Shiok. Will be back.
Great atmosphere, great music, great pastas but really bad fries.
The atmosphere was just right for a date, with great music playing from the live performer. Food was slow to come out and they gave our orders to the wrong table, but both pastas were great with perfectly done pasta and very flavourful sauces. We got the aglio olio and putanesca and we both preferred the aglio olio. Would not get chicken in my pasta again as I expected maybe a small chicken chop but got small chicken cubes cooked with the pasta.
But the fries were really bad. Dont let the image deceive you the full portion size was massive, a mess tin full of fries. Fries were crispy but underseasoned and we could only taste the truffle seasoning on like 5% of the fries and the sauces were so little I finshed it before even half the fries were done. The garlic was quite yummy but would advise against order fries, or at least the truffle fries.
Nevertheless, I will probably still come back for the great pastas and ambience.
Good environment + good vibes + good service! is a must visit for pizza lover!
visited Supply & Demand since few years ago when I was still studying in Singapore, until now still can’t forget their pizza! (I can’t find a better one in Johor, LOL)
the ‘morning after’ and their garlic truffle fries is a must! *the entire shop full with garlic truffle fries smell, can imagine how many ppl order for it, Pasta not bad too. Price consider okay compare to others in CBD area.
*will be long queue if weekend and during peak hour.
Time for some Fish and Chips!
I wouldn’t say the Fish and Chips is good here but they are decent tasting. The fried batter is a bit too soggy for my liking. 😓
Supply & Demand at Orchard Gateway is a very small restaurant with the space maximise to pack with customers. It can get very noisy and (very warm as the AC is weak) not conducive if you are hoping to have a good convo with friends. The crew also seem clueless and not attentive. We have to keep reminding them of our orders constantly.
I would recommend the Supply & Demand restaurant at Novena, Mandalay Road. That is an awesome place for introverts and IG crazy extroverts. You will not get tired snapping pictures at the numerous instagrammable spots in the restaurant. 🤳🤭

Tried their lunch promotion. Portions are big and foods taste great. Very good deals. Their peso thin crust pizza taste refreshing with the generous greens topping. Will be great if there’s more options for their sides.
French fries sweet potato is good and crispy.
Pizza just normal.
Pasta not bad also
Need to do reservation as it really crowded
Great service, great ambience, great food. The "omakase" style for the meats was very memorable too.
The only thing was that we were seated at a table where this random purple light kept flashing at us from time to time which felt kinda like we were getting slapped in regular intervals if you could imagine, so I'm sad to say I can't give them 5 stars this time.
If you do go, ask for the table without the purple lights!
My Mentaiko scallop pasta was good. Poutine fries were ok. More gravy would mKe it better. Thai spicy pork pasta did not look good at first but taste was ok.
Want to come again and try all other menu.
Came to the one at orchard gateway as my friend thought I should give it a try since we're around the area. They have small portions available for pasta for small eaters or if you're sharing sides. Service needs a little more attention as the waiter looked a little impatient when taking our orders. Loved the truffle fries and mushrooms pasta.
Enjoyed the pasta! Truffle fries were great but couldn’t really taste much truffle. The roasted garlic was good though! 🧄
UPDATED photos with my 2nd visit.
First visit:
Food is fantastic if you can get in when u see a short queue. Worst is their slow queue and wait. Once u get past it, their menu, settings, price and quality are all there. What we ordered, all are superb. Portion is very good.
Love the ambience! And the live music was the cherry on top for a wonderful Saturday night. Amazing food and service.
Strongly recommend to anyone who loves cool acoustic live performance paired with finger foods. Dinner menu also available and exceptionally delicious! 💯
Will bring my friends here again 5/5
Love the ambience and food! Ordered garlic truffle sweet potato fries and it tastes really good! Good for sharing 2-3 pax. Also, ordered Pesto Genovese with Burratina. Burratina is a type of cheese. I ordered the petite (small) size for myself. It delicious and the portion is just nice for me. I went there with my bestie. So, both of us ordered petite size main course and the truffle fries. For us, it's very filling and we really enjoyed the dishes as well as the vibe and ambience of the restaurant/cafe.
My friend ordered the Brazilian Chicken, waited for ~ 30 mins. She went to check twice and they said it was ‘coming’. Finally, the waiter said “sorry, the chef overcooked the chicken. Need to wait another 30-40 mins for it to be done again. Would you like to order something else instead?” This could have been handled in a better way such as serving another similar dish immediately or offering a close alternative with lesser waiting time.
Nice ambiance, and popular with the weekends crowd. My favourite appetiser would be the Parma Ham Crostini with Peach. The carbonara was flavourful and super like the crispy bacon.
Always a nice place to have some pasta which you can customise to a certain extent e.g. choosing between spaghetti or penne or whether you prefer to have meat, seafood or vegetables with it. I had the aglio olio peperocino penne with shrimps which wasn't oily and had a tinge of spiciness that made the taste more well-rounded. Would have preferred a larger portion though considering the price.
The yakitori chicken skewers were flavourful and the texture of the meat was tender and juicy. The accompanying mixed vegetables didn't go so well with the yakitori though since they felt a tad oily. Would have been better to have vegetables presented in a lighter or more refreshing manner so as to balance the flavour from the yakitori.
The tiramisu is probably my favourite among the three with a nice balance between the alcohol-soaked finger biscuits, cheese and the chocolate elements. It was a satisfying end to the meal although I must admit that the price is kinda on the high side but still acceptable considering the portion size and quality of the taste.
Service was great and the staff were very attentive and polite despite the weekend crowds. Very grateful for the fact they gave me a chair to sit while waiting for a table when I asked for it - this made the wait a lot more bearable considering that I was having back pain.
A nice cafe serving Italian food in Somerset!
✔️ Nice vibes and atmosphere, great for chilling with friends
✔️ Wide variety of food options on the menu, with some unique flavors too
✔️ Food is not bad
✖️ Quite crowded, so suggest to make a reservation before heading down
✖️ Food is pretty pricey, I find it not so value-for-money for the portions
Overall, food is not bad and nice vibes. However, honestly don’t find it so value-for-money. Pretty expensive!
Pasta delicious and there is live music.
Never a disappointment to visit this place for food. Ordered their brunch series and prawn aglio olio pasta and both were worth the long wait. Do try their cocktail during the HH as it is definitely worth the price.
Ordered regular pasta, the portion was great!
Thin crust pizza was okay, able to do to half half.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Came on a Saturday and was just in time to nab a seat at 1pm. Immediately after a snaking queue formed so definitely get a reservation. The food is not bad and quite fun depending on what you prefer. I had the salmon poke which comes with garlic flatbread instead of rice. It could have less raw onions. On food alone, I would give 3.5 stars but the place is very nosy and menu is too long. Their new brunch menu looks interesting though the descriptions are lengthy.
Please recommend a reasonably priced restaurant in the Orchard Road area that serves pork milanese for lunch sets.
We ordered in some pizzas, and they were great! The pizzas were still warm (we didn’t have heat it up), its crust still fluffy, and the ingredients still fresh and un-soggy. They arrived on time too, which is very important for me because my family members get hungry very punctually haha.
Favorite flavours were:
• Truffle & Egg - very strong truffle taste, perfect for truffle lovers!
• Avocado e Pesto - this vegetarian option packed a punch of flavour! Loved the generous chunks of avocados and avos
Four Seasons was kinda all over the place and had too much olives, and I wasn’t a fan of The Liberal because of the nacho cheese sauce.
We had 3 pizzas and it fed 5 moderately large eaters very well. We even had leftovers!
Order now for 25% off plus free delivery with min. $68 spend 🥰🥰🥰
Location: Orchard.
Time of visit: 3pm.
Food ordered: Unagi rice bowl, beef rice bowl, fries and hummus.
Taste: ok
Price: Average SGD$55 per person.
Payment: Cash and credit cards.
Service: You queue, they lead you to your seat, you order, they serve, you eat, you ask for bill, you pay, you go.
Atmosphere: Decent size table, spacing between table also ok.
Pros: Large selection of pizza, pasta, wine and tea. Live music from Fri to Sun.
Cons: Beef on beef bowl has too much hard to chew fat. Rice bowl also a bit salty.
Risotto frutti de mare? Don't bother.
Pasta nero seafood? Nicer than risotto.
Pizza parma ham & spicy salami? Ok can.
Garlic bread? Half bread thinly sliced 6pcs $10 - no thanks.
Food is good. Really loved their carbonara creamoso pasta despite small serving (we ordered “petite”, definitely true to the name). As we were there for weekend brunch, we also ordered their turkey-style brunch which was splendid, definitely coming back for more. 3 of us also ordered a regular sized signature pizza which was also very much satisfactory and filled us up. Free water provided. However, the service was rather slow and the pizza took around 50min to be served since our initial order. Other than that, the vibes of the place and general atmosphere is enjoyable
Comfy place with a nice lunch of decent carbonara and pizza
Beer is good too but the oysters are mediocre. I doubt they are freshly shucked. I guess that’s why they are $2/pc
Cappuccino is really sad so go for their beer pls!
Had a wonderful lunch with my best friend yesterday. The ambience was good. The food and drinks is really awesome and very delicious. The staffs were friendly and humble.
Went there for Father's day , food wise ok for pasta n pizza but I guess their donburi so so only.
As for their service staff not very friendly as none of them have a smile.
Good place for pizza! Long queue but worth it. The fries was spot on and they have good beer price. The pizza was super and highly recommend.
The cabonara I opted for was a sumptuous delight, boasting a luscious and velvety texture. This place offers a charming setting to unwind and enjoy a delightful dinner.
First time here and the dinning experience were good! There is a singing band, suitable for birthday and other celebration. Price above average, but worth it.
The food was awesome! Recommend the pizzas! Hope y'all enjoy as much as my family and I do!
They serve a good variety of vegetarian items, all clearly marked with leaf symbol.
I love their pizzas and their dough is made in-house daily. I counted 7 vegetarian pizza flavours, with exciting ones such as Avocado E Pesto, Taleggio Spinaci and Al Fungi.
Featured is the Vegetariano pizza, which sounds basic but is surprisingly good! Think artichoke, olives, spinach leaves and farm mushrooms in generous amount. I thoroughly enjoyed their pizza.
They also serve at least 10 vegetarian pasta flavours, such as Panna E Aglio with mushroom and spinach, and Tartufo E Funghi, which caught my eye. And their
Truffle Mushroom Risotto looks really promising.
food was good when eating on the weekdays (less busy). however, when i ate there on a weekend, they seemed to forget my order, and when i prompted them for the food, i think they rushed the order which ended up burning the dish. also placed an order for pasta, waited around 25 min for it, when i asked the server to hurry up the pasta, in the end the order wasn't even in the system and had to wait extra 15 min. please, please implement a QR ordering system to help the busy servers and to ensure that all orders are captured by the system.
The food was above average and the staff was very helpful.
Had the petite trailer park fries and they were very generous with the portion.
The food was good overall.
Had brunch but surprising empty even though it's Saturday noon. Food is pretty good. Not quite a place I would go back again.
Delicious food 😋 and great service, order Beef Steak, signature's pizza and a Truffle fries 🍟
Food was average. Wouldn't make a special trip here. Decided on this place because the other restaurants were packed.
Really great experience as usual, maybe this time it was a little overwhelming of truffle and cheese, felt that it was quite rich to the extent my friends and I were pretty full
Love the ambience! Very cozy place with tasty food! Ordered truffle pasta and sevenbcheese pizza
The restaurant is excellent and well worth the visit, the interior design is wonderful, and the potatoes with cheese must be tried ... very tasty
Oysters were flat and a little fishy. Not worth getting for $2 a pop. Seafood squid ink pasta was good.
The food is great! Staffs are extremely friendly!
Lunch deals. Good meals for the price. Crowded. Need to book.
I came here a while ago and forgot to write a review, the food was surprisingly good, I need to revisit this place soon.
Really expensive for the quality, food is ok but nothing much to shout about. Salted egg yolk fries were really soggy. Truffle fries crispy.
I went for dinner. Pasta was good. The large option is just a normal portion. probably 100gr 4 stars
Rucola salad was good, but no bread with it. 4 stars
Tried the Pizza...1 star
gotta add 10% service charge and 7% GST
Really enjoyed my evening here. Lovely ambience, music and the service was commendable. The crew was attentive, friendly and on the ball. Had some issues with the orders but they were very prompt to make sure that my requests were addressed. Food was really tasty even though it's a little pricey. Overall, a pleasant experience and would definitely bring friends here.
Tried Shrimp Aglio Olio&cream base penne
Both are nice
Live music in afternoon time
It was a delicious restaurant for the price. That pizza is especially delicious when eaten with a soft-boiled egg. Another recommended menu item is Aglio Olio Pasta. The slightly spicy taste cuts through the greasiness, and the shrimp inside are fresh and delicious. It was so delicious that I went again on my birthday. The other menus are also above average, so be sure to try them. For reference, two people ordered 1 pizza, 1 pasta, 1 fries, 1 drink, and 1 beer, and it came out to just under $90.
Pizza is very delicious, but you have to wait a little while
It is recommended to order more other dishes with drinks so that you will not be too hungry.
On holidays, it’s better to come out to dine at 5 or 6 o’clock. The queue will start after 6:30.
Always a good option to eat delicious pasta or pizza. Great atmosphere, almost always with live music. Recommendable.
The pasta here is delicious. The Asian fusion pasta is also delicious.
