Ate here on new years eve. It took awhile to get a table but the staff were very busy as the place was packed. The food took quite awhile to arrive, the lasagna is ordered came in under 10 mins. However, the steak that my father had ordered took around 30mims to come. the food was very well seasoned but i do wish the portions for the lasagna would be more generous. Overall it was a good experience 😊

Was lucky to spot 1-for-1 birthday treat on my GE app! We had the Black pepper seafood pasta, which was moist yet not spicy, comes with mussels, crabstick & fish fillet (abit tough). U can’t go wrong with their Fish & chips (generous with the tartar sauce)! Otherwise, the weekday lunch top-up is a pretty good deal too. IG @pingguo301

This restaurant is definitely short handed but I would like to give compliments to the Manager, Wan and the waiter Jed. Both are very helpful and fast in attending to our needs. The manager can be seen busy serving customers, collecting payments and clearing up the tables, he worked non-stop. Despite of this, he is still nice and patient in serving his customers with a smile. Jed is also helpful and friendly in his service. Good job! Nevertheless hope the management can increase manpower in this outlet.

this place is kinda understaff so food is delivered quite slowly to my table. i waited for around 20-30 mins just for 3 dishes to be served. however overall, food is okay, especially the mushroom soup and spaghetti. in my opinion, price is reasonable for what ive ordered (i paid around $60 for 3 dishes: mac & cheese, mushroom soup and steak with 2 side dishes). but for individual dishes it might be abit too expensive atmosphere is basic, but it gives out comfortable vibes to eat in.

I would like to compliment Manager Wan for delivering excellent customer service. This restaurant is very short-handed thus he has to attend to customers’ requests all the time. Often see him multitask. Though busy, he is still very patient and friendly. Supervisor Jed is also very helpful and hardworking. I hope this restaurant will have more staff so to shorten the waiting time for food/desserts.

Dessert time at Swensens! Our all time favorite with Coit Tower! We also had strawberry and chocolate sundaes. Very well prepared and so presentable! Great sevice from Jed who prepared and served it. Duty Manager too was excellent! Keep up the great service! Will be back for more🙂

Enjoyable food, though the winner is definitely the ice cream. The sundaes are always a delight, especially Sticky Chewy Chocolate. Service and quality has been slipping all the time though.

Have been here on several occasions. Service is fast. This outlet is big, so I always manage to get a table quickly irrespective of weekday or weekend. I like their lasagna. Huge fan of their ice creams anyday. This time I went on to try the impossible burger since I'm a vegetarian. It was tasty. I only wish they served the coleslaw in a bowl, cos it was messy just having it on the salad leaf.

Overall: 👍👍👍👎👎😅 Swensen was one of my favorite, many years ago. And they have great selection of food. Desserts are still their specialties, though. But there's something wrong on the way this food chain is being managed. There's really something wrong, else, we'll only see good reviews here. Food: I ordered baked chicken rice. And yeah, just so plain. I dont see any value to it. Don't get me wrong, my stomach felt satisfied. My taste palette however was saying, what a minute... that's it? We also ordered Sweet Potato Fries, which is worth $11.50 😂 haha. So i really thought it was really worth it. I really hope this food chain bounce back. Such a precious business. 🙏

The staff were very responsive and friendly. We celebrated birthday in the restaurant and the staff happily shared with us on the birthday benefits when approached. Special shout out to Farah for accommodating to our requests! My family and I enjoyed our time in the restaurant.

Went there to celebrate my birthday with my family. The service there was fast and friendly. I would like to compliment Wan and Aaron on the great service they have given. Any concerns my family had were quickly handled with professionalism and care. During a previous visit, my sister had accidentally left behind her phone at the restaurant and Wan was kind enough to hold onto it until we return. Keep up the good work! :D

I’ve eaten mostly breakfast here and sometimes desserts. The breakfast is nice but it used to be better a few years ago, the sizes have gone down and the price up. The waffle and pancake combo was my favourite. They have good choices of desserts and also offers ice-cream cake which are a delight and offer a change from regular cakes.

Am here now with my gal for her post birthday meal. Lunch time crowd building up. Restaurant obvious bit under staff. But the restaurant manager is helpful, prompt and professional. When ask for service, he responded immediately knowing his staff are busy. Saw the rest of the kitchen staff came out to help also. Like the team spirit and brought back find memories of mine when I worked in a F&B restaurant before. Special mentioned Farah, think she's the supervisor? Friendly n patient. Food is delicious. Serving size is good. One main dish can be quite filling. However, Staff needs to be a bit more helpful in explaining the menu. Seating arrangements is good. But the table i was at dance with every mive. This is bad.

I have always loved their desserts but their service was super disappointing! Ordered 4 ice creams but we had to wait 45min before it was served that too after we enquired about our orders. Even the cold water was served after we asked for it...15min after. When I voiced my unhappiness about their service, the staff didn't even apologised and didn't even jot down my concerns. He just brushed me off after receiving my payment. Boohoo for a bad service! Utter disappointment!

Swensens has amazing ice cream without doubt. There is an array of flavours to choose from and all of them are good. When it comes to the actual main dishes the food is below standard. I personally find it not worth it for the price. Come here for the ice cream and cakes but not for the main dishes.
