Reviews of Swensen's @ Changi Airport T3
Food were all so so. But for this price it's not on par.
Maybe should just go swensens for the dessert.
Mashed potatoes should have some sauce btw, too dry and bland without.
Baked rice have no baked fragrance...
Only the Mac & cheese is good!
Tiny steak, overdone. Not great. Felt understaffed, people in line waited 10 minutes to be seated even when there were empty tables. Food was mediocre, portions were not generous, and cooking was average.
Came on 02 September for dinner with my family, one of our order is Dry Laksa Linguine is sold out but the manager KHO CHING didn't tell us until we ask another staff about our order which is about 20 minutes later, when we ask her, she just say "oh, no one tell you all it's sold out?" Very bad service by the manager, very disappointed this time round.
Pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the outlet. Staff are very courteous and willing to help when we had issues in redeeming the free drink.
Food was cooked just right. We had breaded chicken and it was juicy and tender. Yummy! Salmon and mushroom baked rice had a good portion. Salmon was very fresh!
Swensen's at Changi Airport T3 offers a familiar and comforting dining experience. While their Western dishes are decent, the real star is their ice cream. With a wide variety of flavors, from classic to exotic, their ice cream is creamy and delicious. The service is efficient, making it a great choice for a quick bite or a sweet treat before your flight.
Overall:
Swensen's @ Changi Airport T3 is a reliable choice for a satisfying meal or a sweet treat before your flight. While the food options are diverse, the ice cream remains the highlight. If you're looking for a familiar and comforting dining experience in the airport, Swensen's is a good option.
Food is good with reasonable price, but super short-handed. We were having a group dinner during Puasa period, it was very crowded while most of the customers break fasting here. Kitchen and front staffs are not able to cope the overwhelming food orders; we were told that we need to wait for 40 mins for dessert order. That was crazy… the staffs are all multi-tasking and running in and out, I know they were trying their best and exhaust; I hope the management could do something to improve and assist them.
I had reserved for 30 pax for a 7yr old’s bday party. I was advised to pre order my food and did that. I had extra people from my original reservation and the manager Shaquil, was more than kind and helpful. All the food was ready and nothing missed out. We ordered drinks there and they came as quickly too. With so many kids and adults, they did fantastic. Food was fine, desserts were great and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you Shaquil for your patience and kindness.
The bbq chicken sauce was extremely awful. Ice lemon tea was too sweet and i returned it back to counter. The Fish and chips and the fried chicken in basket was a good choice. Finished off with ice cream waffle. Service was subpar… I guessed they were all understaffed.
In the early 80s, going to Swenson at Changi Airport is the main event. It is a place to be seen having a meal and slurping down ice-cream. The times are changing. I decided to visit this outlet at T3 for a quick meal. Ordered the omelette with ham and a coffee to go. The food is ordinary but it does not taste horrible. The service is good. This is one of my go to places if I need to have a quick meal. The decoration at T3 is modern although I do miss the trolley cart decorations at the first Swenson at Changi Terminal 1 (which was the only Terminal at that time). Overall experience - you got nothing to lose if it is just to fill the stomach. The ice cream is still a favorite though!
Food was good. Didn't know why our seats stink a lot. So they changed our seats. It's crowded on Saturday lunch. There was a queue outside. And when we were shown to our seats, we were told we had to wait 40 min for our food. Staff were very quiet and hard to get their attention to order food. Current promotion is one kid 12 and below dine free for every main course ordered from 11am to 2pm.
Food is decent and honestly delicious, with great portion. Just dont expect fancy gourmet western food here though.
Waitress named Kay kept getting our orders wrong on the first tme and had to go to other staff a couple of times to get it right. Thank you shaquil and Fadli for assisting us. Not forgetting Hilmi for manning the ice cream station
service was good but the quality of food has dipped, paid $28.90 for the smallest portion of chicken and a decently sized steak. Is chicken so expensive that they can’t give a bigger piece?
5 star for the service. Attentive and fast service. Offer ice water for free, Taking order, serve food, clear plates etc. Exellent.
Food looks good with my photo taking skills :)
but I cant give 5 star cos steak is in fact small and thin. Cant justify $23-25.
A very noisy place because it’s full of kids screaming. If you want some ice cream only perhaps you can consider going to Godiva. The staff is too busy so a lot of waiting is expected. Do not come here if you are in a rush! The ice cream is okay not as nice as before I think.
Service was pretty slow here. Need to remind our orders of drinks to get it. Food was prompt though. Certainly very crowded on weekend. Be prepare to queue for more than 20mins if u have bigger group
Great service and delicious food as always, a wonderful choice to eat here before or after one's flight.
The garlic impossible vegetarian burger, looked like a beef burger, oozing with "some blood" when u cut it open. It was nice at first but after a few mouthfuls, there was this lingering aftertaste which my sis and I could not stand it. (I only ate 2 small bites). Not wishing to waste food, we still finished it. Maybe it was because we do not eat beef...🤔😅 (tks to a friend for the recommendation, but I don't like it😜)
the buns were soft and lightly toasted. Garlic sauce was thick, gooey and yummy! for serious garlic lovers😘
Forgo the fries and love the crunchy fresh coleslaw. 😊
Find it a bit expensive...
Swensen’s is like my favorite ice cream place since I was a kid! I love the little American flag on the Coit Tower! And Banana Split is an all time favorite!
Love it here!
Food is great. Price wise need to go during weeekday then is sedap
Happy place but not open 24 hours. Ice cream melts easily. Place brings back so many happy memories.
Very good food, busy place, but attentive and pleasant service
2nd time here! Love this outlet 🥰

Swensen dessert and food are amazing and affordable! Great to bring family to enjoy a sumptuous lunch or dinner.
2nd time eating at a Swensen's.
I'm going to be BRUTAL with my Review.
✅️Food is Delicious
✅️Staff are friendly and fast kitchen staff+serving as well
⚠️Price is Outrageous, I just think its food that's overpriced
⚠️No Sauces Provided (e.g. Chilli for my Fries) Why must I ask for chilli when they can simply provide it at ALL tables?
⚠️No Ipad/QR Code at this Outlet to Order, it's all traditional caveman technology
BBQ Chicken doesnt taste like BBQ as you would think.
It's a restaurant~ice cream parlour brand that Singaporeans who were born in the 70s and 80s grew up with. It's always a nice treat to have a sundae with your family and reminisce about how it really never changed since the days you were kids. Perennial favourites ~ Coit Street Tower, Ring-a-ding-a-ling, Sticky Chewy Chocolate, can stand on their own as Sundae Greats even with the stiff competition from ice cream specialty shops mushrooming all over the island. The chain has evolved with the times and have taken out and introduced new food items to stay with the times. But sometimes, I do wish that they stick with the old favorites like the jumbo hotdog or the spaghetti bolognese. New additions like Crayfish beehoon and laksa are nice, but it's not San Francisco Swensen's. So bring back the oldie but goodies!
Very good service especially Jerome helped us to take photos.
The candle & lighter were given by one of the staffs.
Very good food
Lady at the ice cream counter short hair and white shirt did an amazing service . Thank you for making the experience better 🙏🏾
Being a massive and very established chain, the food here is objectively “good”. To judge this branch from the others by its food is not ideal. This score, therefore, is a representation of its environment and service. However, if you’re reading this and need help on deciding whether to eat at Swensen’s for the first time, I’ve also included my score for the food though it does not affect the final score.
Food:
Known for the ice cream, which was also what we came here for, the food here receives the following score:
Taste: 8.5/10
Presentation: 8/10
Value for money: 7/10
Recommendation (first-time-basis): 9/10
Environment:
The ambience is what you would expect of a regular Swensen’—cosy, relaxed, casual dining—plus slightly more noise than other settings possibly due to arrangement of seatings and less partitions/booth seats compared to other branches. It earns a solid 4/5 but a 3/5 compared to the other branches.
Service:
Served mainly by Shaquil and a young lady—whose name I did not catch—on a birthday’s night, the experience is a 1/5. This is a number that could be attributed to various factors on both parties and therefore is merely a representation of my personal experience.
Other than food service, response was slow despite it being post-peak period where the place was only half occupied.
However, also possibly due to various factors, a wrong order was brought to our table. This however, does not play as much of a concern to the tally as it did not affect the experience.
The average of both factors brought me to the final score of 3/5 but more of a strong 2.
Staff Ibrahim very attentive and patient taking nice photos for me
Sufyan - Hardest working staff for the evening, Thank you for serving our table of 10. Food could be better tonight.
Good breakfast choice for travelers. The big, filling plate gives good energy.
Good food at a great price. Comfortable atmosphere and a good kids menu.
The last time I had Swensen was like 2 years back at T2. Menu pretty much the same but we have to access it through scanning the qr code that was on the table. Some qr code need to be replace as it couldn't been detect. I personally dislike using my phone to view the menu. What happen when my phone battery was low, I definitely wont want to deplete even more. Secondly M1 had poor connection at Terminal 3. This was what my friend and 1 were experiencing when we were sitted at the corner of the restaurant. Hope Swensen will be able to improvise on the above suggestion. I went twice on the same day as I had bad craving for the ice cream. Love their ice cream and their Black pepper seafood pasta was good.
Definitely will visit soon for the ice cream again 😋
Don’t really know too many family friendly restaurants that run 24 hours so this is really good for those late night occasions. There’s usually a queue but the turnaround is pretty quick. Good service & good food.
Favourite place for at at least 30 years in Singapore. Although prices have gone up tremendously, it is still affordable. They have many varieties for lunch & dinner. If you are looking for dessert, their in house made ice cream is still good. Rocky Road, Yam, Pistachio almonds, Green mint, Coffee..Go for coit tower or Gold rush, Merrimint....
Best Swensen's outlet in Sg, they have an Asian selection of food since it is located at the airport. The outlet is huge, meaning you will most likely get a seat during lunch time. Great service and selection of desserts and ice-creams. The DURIAN ice-cream is also a MUST TRY.
Quality has been compromised over the years. No longer money's worth. Can get better food at some of rhe lesser known cafes.
Swensens keeps updating their dishes to keep current. The service at this branch was fast and food was good.
I think Changi Airport's Swensen is the only place that serves local delight. The mee goreng is as heavenly as the salted gula melaka heaven.
Nice and cozy. Located near Kopitiam. Very convenient
Nice food..and friendly staffs..very welcoming
Standard dropped. The day supervisor is not very friendly either to customers or his staff.
The embiance was quiet and nice and the service was good too
My "go to" place for meals whenever family's at the airport
It's in terminal 1 too... but I'm in terminal 3, bro, on the Basement 2 floor. Friends, you know the famous one, the ice cream is ok...
The food was prepared early and tastes bad after heating. A little disappointed after eating.
The shop opens early in the morning. If anyone travels early in the morning, stop by this shop to find something to eat. I saw the name of the shop was Swensen. Don't think that he only has itin. They also have food for sale here. For this morning Let's get it all together.
There are not many vegetarian foods here. Vegetarian friends should pay attention: the French fries here are fried together with fried chicken and other foods. The ice cream is delicious. The vegetarian burgers and mushroom soup are spicy. The service is good. If it is a birthday, And free ice cream!
The best ice cream restaurant since I was little until now, the taste has never changed. The best taste I have ever eaten...
Good food. Good food.
