Reviews of Symmetry
Not easy to find the place. But finally!
Food is quite good. The toast I have is good.
Waffles had a bit of weird taste. Flat white is good. Good coffee bean.
Service is ok. Even though it was not crowded, need to ask then to top up my water.
Still can come back again. 👍🏻
We tried the food and the the dishes are Beef Wellington and Aglio Olio Prawn.
For the Beef Wellington the beef was tender and juice, the outer pastry was flaky which compliment with each other.
And the aglio olio was an abolute delight. Its very different with the aglio olio i tried in other restaurants.
Fantastic service, very proactive and friendly.
Food was great as well!
Thank you for having us :)
Mains were around $30
Sides were around $20
Speciality Coffee were around $10
Alcoholic beverages were around $20
The most incredible brunch spot. My fiancée had the Shakshouka which came with a gloriously light focaccia. I went for the Eggs Benedict which came on a bed of diced mushrooms. The eggs were cooked to perfection! We will be making a return trip.
Got Full Symmetry Breakfast & Dirty Eggs. The food was great and very filling though it might be a bit pricey for a weekend brunch.
I especially liked the egg gratin was a nice order and cooked favourably, the toast w guacamole was a great touch.
Dirty eggs were a lil spicy which was surprising.
Staff was very friendly. Cafe was just a lil dark and noisy cause it was so full
The food is absolutely incredible. Great quality and tasty dishes, especially the eggs benedict. Festive menu and decorations 🙌🏻
Great food! A bit on the expensive side, but quality, freshness, & flavor win so it's worth it. Friendly service and cool vibe
A serendipitous afternoon as I needed a good coffee as much as I needed a refreshing sparkling drink, and also to have my sweet tooth fix ... was near Symmetry SG and upon entering, somehow my attention zoomed in on the Iced Golden Bear and Waffle (with a burst of flavours & colours) - from a long menu list of mains and drinks.
Her team was accommodating and attentive and needless to say, even just by a non mains meal encounter, she is one of my top Cafes in Sg surely.
Strolling to get breakfast, yet we had this big brunch thanks to Symmetry. We didn’t make any reservations therefore only get to stay around 45-50 minutes.
Their brunch food collection was 🩷🩷🩷. Coffee was good. I got to taste the ice golden bear and the vegan mushroom bread.
Great place for dinner. Service was great too. Portion of food is big, so I would suggest sharing for normal eater.
I thought the two dishes were rather well done and creative, guacamole and bits of other accompaniment that made it stood out. n Pricey though for two brunches with coffee at $90 thereabout.
From ten years ago until now, Symmetry has been consistently serving up yummy food. A trusted spot for a date night/ lunch. Only downer for me is that the music tends to be very loud here.
quaint and pretty café.
we ordered their big breakfast and waffles. personally felt that their big breakfast tasted average, but their waffles on the other hand were so good!! the sourness of the fresh berry compote helped to balance out the sweetness from the maple syrup, and the blueberry icecream was perfect (wasn’t too sweet). they served a pretty mean coffee too, really aromatic blend.
chill vibes all around, can’t wait to be back!
Lovely brunch at Symmetry, fantastic coffee and great food. The service was very efficient and attentive.
Quality ingredients used in the dishes here. Came here with family for a birthday dinner and we enjoyed our food very much. There’s free corkage if you purchase a bottle of wine too but do try the cocktails as they are awesome. I’ll recommend the seafood linguine, pani puri lobster balls, and hummus. Service is excellent here too. We will be back again.
Really nice brunch place. the food is a bit expensive but tasty - especially the salmon&asparagus pancake set, which was delicious. Seating outside was much nicer than our original indoor table - the music was too loud and the room was lacking of light, especially on a Sunday afternoon. (Indoor is perfect as a bar though, great selection of beers!). Beverages are definitely overpriced, but the staff's kindness makes up for it. Would visit again!
Was searching for a dinner place & came across this cafe! Food exceeded our expectations. Ordered the wagyu steak & it was so nicely done. It was not too hard to chew & also not too “rubbery”. We also ordered a pasta called Spicy Pork & Fennel Mafalda , a very interesting concept, feels like a fusion between western & asian. Overall, love the ambiance of the place & there was a live band too, which made the night even better!
I love this place. The coffee is genuine, vibe is casual and the food is consistently high quality. I frequently bring my friends and colleagues here to introduce them to Symmetry. Everyone loves the food and can’t wait to come back again.
It’s a gem, a Singapore treasure!
Food was honestly average for its price point but good service and environment.
Food was quite pricey and mediocre I don’t think I would visit again, was also put off by just one lady who got us our seats and rudely told us we had to give up our table at a certain time (it was about 2-3 hours until said time so it was totally uncalled for - who eats lunch for 3 hours...) But thankfully, all other staff were friendly and food was quite yummy, just didn’t feel what I ordered was value for money. Could have made this at home for 1/5 the price😥
Very friendly staff.
Food is very delicious.
I ordered pork pasta, 31 sg dollar.
Cozy and comfortable ambiance..
vegan food option is available..
overall good.
So many good dishes, just to name a few, nachos, Brussels sprout Fig salad. Service, very attentive. Ambience, very chill, love it.
Definitely coming back again for brunch
Came here for breakfast /brunch and it was a real treat.
I had the big breakfast thing which was only made slightly weird by the kind of sausage.
My wife had smashed avocado on toast with scrambled egg - very good.
We shared waffles at the end which was delightful. But then we are the kind of people who think brunch dessert is a thing
Had our wedding anniversary brunch at the Symmetry.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
From the time we entered until we left, we always had a feeling that we are welcomed and more than just a customer.
For the first time in a long while a restaurant that is obviously not just interested in taking your money but also in doing a great job and making sure, that your stay is pleasant.
The seafood bowl was tasty and hearty.
The crab croquettes were more-ish.
The big brunch was fresh and delicious.
The waffles with ice cream and fresh berries was super delicious and best I had ever!
In addition we received the waffles on the house for our wedding anniversary!
The interior and exterior are both beautifully decorated and we loved the lounge music.
Thank you Nicole - Roque & Allen for being awesome and making our day!
5 Stars to a an all-round and complete satisfying experience.
As Arnold Schwarzenegger said... I'll be back 🙂
We had a great time at the Symmetry
lovely brunch place in tourist spot. A bit pricey but the brunch is good and unique.
They have quite a selection of food and drink, chill place for gathering with friends or beloved one. Went there for brunch with friends and we ordered their bug breakfast, lamb shakouska ($27), big breakfast ($25) where you can have 2 eggs of selection, egg benedict ($25), quiche ($25), waffles and fries. Portion is good enough to get full and taste is good as well.
Delicious food but not cheap! not many seats so better to make reservations :)
Avocado gula malaka is surprisingly good and looks good as well!
Ordered the salmon bagel and Symmetry full breakfast. Everything was fresh and the best part was the salmon and brussel sprouts of the full breakfast. Portion was decent but very expensive even for the location.
One of the nice spot to have brunch session.
Ambience is cozy and relax (for interior)
Food served is generous in portion as well as deliciois
Drinks were delightful too
They do limit the eating time so if you planned to dine in for long hour you might need to check with them in advance
Lovely service and great brunch food. The ambience is pretty rustic and conducive for gatherings/dates ☺️ Tried their signature eggs benedict and I love how they gave it their own "flavour" with the mushrooms and bacon. Very unique. I'd definitely be back 👍
The Dirty Eggs were breathtaking.
I gave it 4 stars because we were seated outside, and it was quite hot. I would have given it 5 stars if I were inside as the place is beautiful.
They have been in operation for a couple of years and known to be a great cafe but similar to many new age cafès, they have a pretty high price point for their menu items. So be prepared to spend at least $60 for 2 pax.
The environment is cozy and welcoming which is perfect for a brunch setting. Their staff are really friendly and helpful.
They do serve up some fusion tasty food that will leave you feeling satisfied but for the price point, it isn’t somewhere you would go often.
Tried Australian food in Singapore for the first time. Food portion was alright. Tried the duck leg confit. The portion could have been better. The panna cotta portion is huge and did not expect an ice cream.
The service is good, servers were patient as we were a big group.
Wanted to have branch but unable to make it in time. Ended up having dinner there instead.
We had Seafood Stew and Duo Pork. Both tasted very good especially the Seafood Stew.
Staff were very polite and courteous. We were served some grapes for starter free by the server.
Price is a little on the high side. We spent around $70 for 2 pax.
Beautiful eclectic spot. Great coffee, Great brunch options. I had the Spanish eggs. The service was also impeccable. I have since recommended others visiting Singapore to stop by this alternative popular brunching spot.
Such good food and vibe here. Got the fig & brussel sprout salad, big breakfast platter, iced soy dirty matcha and white coffee. They were all so tasty albeit at a higher price point. The service and music were great too.
We are quite satisfying with all the foods that we had here. What a wonderful chef they have.
It looks like same aglio olio that you can easily find everywhere but they have their own unique recipe, which made my day differ from the rest.
My hubby love Symmetry Egg bens so much. Been visiting them few times for brunch especially. Portion & taste of the food serving are ideal for the price you're paying. Very chill vibes during weekday, service could be improved.
Amazing food styling and taste, my little daughter simply loves it as well as the open air space that she can run around and play. Both of the owner and staffs are extrememly helpful and warm hearted. The outdoor area is very cosy and covered full of various plants. Its a must visit cafe and bar if you had a plan to go bugis area during weekend. Normally you d better make a reservation first, or walk in during early hours like before eleven.
The atmosphere and staff are nice.
The Benedict and speculoos latte are just perfect.
But unfortunately the hash brown is quite cold while serving.
Hope next time can have the “hot” one.
Been here a few times, surprised by their cool dripped coffee, probably the few good ones in SG. Also a great place to chill, wine, and small bites, with relaxing ambience. The food is okay only, a tad disappointed with this avocado mixed christmas breakfast menu.
Definitely worthy to revisit for coffee for sure.
Love the vibes here~ feels like eating at Melbourne
Very chill and good food
The coconut cold brew is surprisingly nice 👍🏼
Great Brunch Menu!
We took the salmon on toast and it was excellent! It was pretty busy so you should reserve ahead if possible
We eat was Symmetry eggs Benedict and Crab on toast. Additional order the smoked sausage and fried egg,2 cups of coffee. Because this restaurant the most famous is egg with a temperature of 62.5 degrees, so you can try it.Feels like an egg popping…hahaha…
Nice and cozy place for brunch. Fresh food and Aussie fusion brunch style.
Highly recommended for hang out with friends.
Very friendly staff , good food & a nice ambience. I highly recommend it. Make sure you book in advance during the weekend as it might get busy during the brunch time.
Second visit I am trying something not so brunch, so here comes the lamb shank. Looks like a bit fusion, and tastes like a bit Mediterranean. Pancake is too sweet to me.. Indoor is darker and outdoor is very green, but always full of people. Definately a super hot spot of brunch .
My mouth was in cloud nine for every single bite of their dishes! A must-try gastronomical experience for all brunch lovers, every cent is worth their weight at Symmetry!
We tried two dishes (pictured), their Symmetry Big Breakfast ($26) and Symmetry Eggs Benedict ($24). Needless to say, we left the cafe filled and satisfied.
Their 64°C eggs were a masterclass, especially when they are paired with the perfectly toasted english muffins or the delectable sourdough slice. Their tater tots are not to be forgetten too, with its crispy and addictive outer layer, and its soft and warm inner layer, its an experience well worth that heavy price tag.
I can't wait to come back for more of their menu!
5-7 min away from Bugis MRT station. Environment quite cozy. Staff friendly. Food slightly exp but I think is because it’s located at town area. Anyway the food quality & environment are worth it for the money. Recommend their eggs Benedict, it is really tasty and something u shouldn’t miss out! 👍🏻
Good food and coffee but it was slightly more expensive than other brunch places. The dish in the photo was $25 for eggs (with truffle oil), avocados and toast, without a shred of meat in sight. There was a two hour dining limit when we were there over the weekend. However it was an enjoyable experience.
Good food. Nice for brunches. Good portions. I found it a little pricey. Decent coffee. Cool interiors and outdoor sitting.
Delicious waffles!!
The scrambled eggs are really good. I am a truffle fries fan, it's good too. Burger buns are well toasted/ pan fried. Slightly pricey though. Will be back
We had a lovely brunch! Prices are a bit steep but the food is delicious. I also had the cold brew which was rich and chocolaty.
Lovely drinks near Kpg Glam. Nice and comfy settings, extra points for aesthetics!! Great for pics and hiding from the hot sun.
Nice food, pricey brunch place. Dining time 1.5 hours and being reminded for more than 3 times in between. Kinda feel annoyed.
One of my new fav cafe in Singapore. The Big Breakfast and Crab Benedict were delicious. The vibe of the place is quite chill and nice crowd.
good food, great coffee. for breakfast, we ordered 2x coffee, 1x egg Benedict and 1x big breakfast and it amounted to 75 SGD, so it's pretty pricey.
Came here for dinner. Love all the three dishes we ordered. The dessert (something like choco lava) tastes so-so. The exterior is not eye catching at all 😛 u might missed out easily.
Great food, seafood aglio olio was superb!! Cozy and nice place to dine in with friends.. friendly staff and good service specially Joms.
Good food … interesting menu .
Drinks are slow very slow
Kind of noisy on weekend
Ambience and design was fantastic. Service is excellent, servers were very attentive and proactive. Food portion was good, taste fantastic.
Very nice coffee. The granola bowl was very sweet and expensive.
I went around 9:30am on a public holiday. The food is very delicious and I'm satisfied!
Salmon and avocado pancakes are delicious! How delicious is the salmon?
The caramel pancakes were also good. The drinks are also delicious!
The staff is very efficient and there are no problems with the service.
By 10 o'clock, the place was almost full.
The price is high for Japanese people. It cost nearly $100 for 3 dishes and 2 drinks.
It can't be helped that the prices are higher than in Japan, but in Japan you can have delicious food like this for less than half the price.
