Reviews of TGM Singapore
Best place to hang with buffet and charging outlets at all the booth tables. The food is excellent. Had the unagi omelette over rice. Every bite was perfection.
Initially, we came here because they have a 40%-off deal on FoodPanda for Pork Tonkatsu Curry Don. When we got here, it turned out they had a daily deal promotion going on, and the Pork Tonkatsu Curry Don was 50% off for the day! We ordered 2 of that and the Fried Crispy Fish Skin as a side (also 50% off).
The Tonkatsu was pretty decent. It wasn't oily, and the meat was nice and lean. Japanese rice was good as usual, but the portion of the curry was a little small.
The fish skin was good and crispy. It wasn't oily, and it came with a tasty sauce, though I wasn't sure what sauce it was. It came in big pieces, way better than many places where the fish skin may be broken into smaller pieces.
The meal was accompanied by a bowl of miso soup. There is nothing special there, but it's good to complete the meal.
I may return to try their Una Tamago Don as we saw it on the menu, and it looked pretty good.
Passable. Visited this early in the morning, service was basically non-existent. Breakfast choices was underwhelming, buffet provided was cold pastries, yoghurt, coffee from machine, and some other cold food.
It was a satisfying dinner. It is an airport restaurant, but I was surprised I did enjoy eating there. The crispy fish skin was really good. Service was friendly. I would come back.
Food quality:
Better than average, but don’t think it’s worth it
Food portion / Price:
Portions are large on co patio Roth aree we a
Prices are way above Australian price, starting slicer o $20.+++
Service:
Serves what you order relatively quick as they’re short on staff and customer as well.
Crowd:
Tends to be crowded during meal time, but since covid hit l meal times are relatively empty.
Payment:
Cards, cash accepted.
All time favourites whenever we have transit here in Changi Airport. 6 Hours transit its more than enough to pampered yourself with delicious food without rushing.. its all worth the price.. i guess been here 3 or 4 times already 😁
Food tasted okay, and short waiting time
I was a little disappointed when I arrived at the entrance of TGM on 27Dec 820pm, to see that the service staff was busy doing some other paperwork instead of serving us. She did not bother asking what we wanted and needed prompting before telling us what we could order. I saw another menu next to the corporate menu that stated the price of each set was $15. We were here because of the complimentary 2 entries from DBS Altitude card's Priority Pass and the reviews for the other lounges were quite bad so we came here.
The restaurant was only 20% full yet we were seated at a 2-person table with our bags in tow. The service staff did promptly agree to my mum's request to sit at a 4-person table. The comfy double sofa seats tables were unwelcomingly marked reserved. A very non-customer orientated setup.
However, when our meals came, the quality served to impress. The sashimi was fresh, and the kurobuta was cooked just right and tender. The korean rice cake in kimchi soup was something I've not seen in other food places in Singapore. I enjoyed my barley drink as well. It was not too sweet and had a lime in it. We liked the gyoza on the side and the green tea too.
Even though the selection for priority pass was pretty limited, the quality of food puts this place at 4stars for me (overlooking the poor service standard).
Very friendly staff. Main course options are legit. Pilots like to hang out here it seems, maybe it's a good value option for them?
Customer service was so so. Not friendly when i asked to look for the menu before walking in. Had the korean rice cake in spicy soup with dumplings, just alright. Nothing to be shout out for. If you're into ramen - check out ippudo instead. There's a ippudo express at the terminal inside airport.
TGM also known as The Green Market at Terminal 2 Changi Airport is the alternative to Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 1. Is good for a meal before your flight. Though only Japanese and Korean cuisines.
Best priority pass lounge food ever. I love the sashimi bento
Quite decent jap food, but better for staff from Changi Airport!
Great place at Changi Terminal 2 for Japanese food.
Very affordable food and great portion
This Japanese restaurant in Changi Airport terminal 2 do serve very nice Japanese breakfast. The food is much better then lounge and it is complimentary for major credit cards holder.
Each time when we transit T2, TGM will be the preference while waiting for flight. This Japanese restaurant have very comfortable setting & atmosphere, together with soft music play and most importantly, the staffs are very well trained & attentive.
Japanese food at its perfection! I initially come to T2 for the seemingly only vegetarian restaurant in the airport, according to the info board. However, the restaurant was closed until November 2015. Luckily, this Japanese restaurant is just beside it. I had ordered the tempura prawn and vegetable bento. I noticed that there are quite a few trophies and photo of a chief on the shelf. And it all became clear once the food arrives. Tempura itself is great, and all the side dishes are delicious as well. Sometimes you come across a Jem when you least expected.
Came here because of the Priority Pass and ordered the sashimi bento. Seeing as how it was a comped meal, I expected the proportions to be lacking and was greatly surprised to find a large bento filled with thick slices of fresh salmon, japanese fried chicken, miso and more! Best meal than I've ever eaten at any airport lounge. Walked out stuffed and happy. Service was friendly and expedient. Would gladly come back again.
I think the portion of food and taste is some what below the standard it was pre COVID. The portion used to be nicer but maybe due rising food price, it's understandable.
Set meals can be chosen . Good for lounge key and priority pass holders
Food is a la minute. Not the best Japanese food around but pretty decent
The newly renovated Green Market offers more set menu but no longer offer buffet starter and desserts. Variety of food better than plaza premier lounge.
Comfortable restaurant. Note if your credit card has Plaza Premium privileges, you can get a corporate set and drink for free 🤩
The restaurant is as nice as a lounge and definitely worth your time.
Free access to this lounge with my Priority Pass. Very polite Japanese staff at the entrance. The food is so good I could just skip my economy class meal.
Food is pretty good (restaurant standard), but service occasionally slow. Also might not be the ideal place for a rest if you are using priority pass as it is restaurant rather than a lounge.
Food is decent considering it’s a priority pass privilege. However they managed to screw up my order even though it wasn’t crowded and service was slow
Visited the place on Jun 18.It is a restaurant rather than a lounge.i was given a set meal menu at the counter and ordered on the spot with my priority pass.I ordered teriyaki salmon set.The set included green tea, fruits, rice, gyoza, pickled white raddish, spinach and salmon. It was actually beyond my expectations,it was really delicious and it did fill me up.But better go other lounges if you are looking for a place to rest for few hours.
With Priority Pass, you can choose a set meal from a separate menu. Great place to fuel up before your flight!
Nice food for the price, good amount of serving, ramen very nice ang curry chicken
Kind of restaurant rather than a lounge. Got complimentary set from JCB Platinum Card. Better choices of food than what serving in real lounge.
Great food for JCB credit card
really awesome, large portion of salmon (japanese breakfast) and it size prox 700-800gram
Good place to have lunch at terminal 2
Decent Japanese food, ate it as part of a free package so its hard to put value for money
Free lunch or breakfast for JCB credit card
Suppose to open at 6 am. Can only serve food half hr after opening. Flight is at 715. We left without eating.
Very good food and priority pass gets you a set menu item.
Ordered white market pork noodle. The noodle was so so. It is a lil pricey for the price as compared to the food quality.
Good service and food after new team + renovation. Impressive turnarounds. Will be back. Congrats to the team!
The food was excellent thank you mr. mark for the good service.
Japanese breakfast with an assortment of fish
Great food option within the airside of singapore changi airport t2
Nice place to sit and overlook the check-in hall.
Atmosphere is good but the food isn't very tasty
thanks for the good service mr.mark and the food was so good and yummy
Not too bad
Free dining for priority pass holder. Worth trying.
Complimentary set with JCB card.
My favorite place while waiting for my flight 😄 friendly staff.
Nice place before and after flight at Changi T2
Good is great!
Good service...Nice food...
Swordfish karaage was good
Salmon with priority pass
Moderate...
Credit card benefits come here, the environment is clean and spacious, and the temperature is good. The food is also good, especially the service attitude of the front desk staff~ High praise
As a Priority Pass member, I received free breakfast. Perhaps because it was morning, it wasn't crowded at all, so I had a comfortable time. The food was also delicious.
I was able to get a set meal with Priority Pass. The taste is normal.
With a JCB card, you can dine once for free. The meals are large and delicious.
A lounge that has a different concept from a lounge in general.
Located in Terminal 3 of Singapore Changi Airport, this lounge has more of a restaurant concept so it is suitable for those of you who have a short layover and want to enjoy delicious food.
The quality of the food served is much better compared to lounges in general, however the facilities provided are quite minimal
Delicious and free!
It has changed to a Japanese restaurant called TGM.
The taste is delicious!
Meals are available with Priority Pass. happy.
More than usual.
