Reviews of That Chef Couple Private Dining
Enjoyed a pleasant evening with delicious French styled fusion cuisine. Loved the ox tail that had been infused with red wine. The meat was tender and succulent and it melts in your mouth. The dishes were all delicately blended and offers a satisfying adventure into the culinary universe. 2 Thumbs up!
Chef Jedidiah and Lynette were the most incredibly talented chefs! Every dish was SOOO thoughtfully created and most importantly we enjoyed every single dish that we couldn’t choose our favorite 🥹 My husband and I also had many meaningful conversations with the chefs and they have made our meal so comfortable in their abode. Overall, we would proudly say that this meal with them was the best birthday meal we have celebrated together!
Every dish brings a delight! 😍 Enjoyed how harmonious the taste of ingredients selected came together. Appreciate Chef Jedidiah's thoughtfulness as he has designed his dishes with my special request in mind - I feel so pampered and very special! ❤️ I love Chef Lynette's dessert and hospitality. It was the perfect atmosphere for great companionship! Will be back for more🤗
Never in my life I felt so pampered!! The food and service was superb! It was the best dining experience I ever had. Jed and Lynette are such a lovely couple! The passion they have definitely shows in the food they served us. The love 💗, time & effort put into it, I truly appreciate it all! Thank you Jed & Lynette! I had such an unforgettable lunch. With the wonderful company of friends, it was PERFECT!💕😊
Had a cosy and enjoyable lunch at That Chef Couple.
We started with the freshly baked Confit Garlic Focaccia which was bursting with aromatic garlic and herbs flavour. Giving a thumbs up for that!
Mains was Butter Chicken with herbed saffron basmati, raisins and roasted cashews with cucumber raita. Mm the butter chicken was good but I personally, favour a more intense flavoured version of the dish 🤪
Ended lunch with Vanilla Ice Cream with whiskey; streusel, spiced pecans, fresh apple and cinnamon apple coulis. Oh! And not forgetting the fragrant, soft financiers 😋
Definitely coming back for more of what this talented, passionate chef couple can whip up 👍🏼👍🏼
Deliciously curated menu with a perfect blend of flavors and gracious service. The scallops, prawns and salmon were delightfully succulent. Generous servings, fresh and you can tell they were made with love and passion! Truly a satisfying and memorable experience for us :)
An intimate affair with the lovely hosts, Jed and Lynette. If you're looking for a special meal with quality ingredients and authentic interactions, go for this. They warmly welcome you to their home and offer the best they can - hospitality, conversation and food.
1st dish: Bruschetta
Warm soft sourdough bread with concentrated balsamic vinegar with feta cheese. Different from your usual typical Italian style. Using baby tomatos, added extra sweetness to the dish. Nicely char-Grilled tomato's added to the unmani flavor. A warm entree to the start of the dinner.
2nd dish: Seafood risotto in Squid ink.
Seafood implosion with the first bite. The taste of the sea infusion into the risotto. Paired with mussels and pan-smeared prawn brings it to another level of unmani.
3rd dish: Slow cook roasted pork belly with polenta and Djore mustard.
Painstakingly slow cook and roasted for more than 2 hours has rendered the fats and meat soft and tender. The polenta added additional texture and flavour. The mustard just give it a extra kick to the whole dish.
4th dish: Dark chocolate Soufflé with tiramisu ice-cream
Specialise in patisserie, the dark chocolate soufflé is the bomb! Warm, soft and fluffy. Simply heavenly. Coupled with the tiramisu ice cream served in mocha espresso just complete the whole experience.
