The food is soooo good!!!! It surprises me that the restaurant was rather quiet on a Sat night. The bone-in pork chop is simple but done very well. I never liked crispy food but was pleasantly surprised by the pig ears. I’m also quite disappointed that they’re taking away the bull frog, bone marrow and artichoke off the menu 😔 I was very excited to try them out. We came across this restaurant because corkage is only $20 as we usually bring our own wines. The service is pleasant, food can be slow, but overall, the dining was fantastic! I will definitely come back, perhaps for the bisque noodles and bleu burger 🤤

Stumbled upon this place when looking for a place to eat late lunch, and practically had the whole place to ourselves :) Great atmosphere, awesome burgers, and the auntie waiting the tables was so so kind 🥹 I loved that the pickles were chopped up instead of having large slices in the burger - this way I get the nice acidic flavor of the pickles in every bite (I am a huge pickle fan). Will come back again for sure 🥰

My family enjoyed our lunch at The Corner Grill very much. The service was warm and attentive and the food was delicious. You can tell that the chef put his heart and soul into the menu. We had the following: - Garlic Butter Frog Legs - Lobster Rolls - Bleu Burger - Breakfast Burger - Lemon Tart - Chocolate Bar - * our order of the burgers came with a complimentary *Kombucha* made by the chef. It was very refreshing and it made a perfect end to the meal. One of our family members said that they should bottle it and sell it. I agree. We left with happy bellies and promising ourselves to come back again!

I went on the Friday night, 8pm. Surprisingly, I was the only customer. Waitress took me to the 2nd floor, kindly recommended the Blu burger. While waiting for the food to be served, I was enjoying the background music and quietness of the room. 20 minutes later, a not so big but tall burger was served. Taste of the blue cheese was not over powered, meat was close to well done. Overall, burger 4 stars, service 5, price 2.

A divine dining experience! Got the Bleu burger and the BBQ burger. They were delicious and the atmosphere here is amazing. Great air conditioning and music. 10/10 for travelers looking for a great bite.

Saw friend’s praise of this restaurant in Facebook, and attracted by the good reviews and menu, and so decided to try for dinner. Place have nice ambiance, and staff are super friendly and gave good recommendations for the menu, non pushy and so it’s very good. Interesting menu like fried pig’s ear, some special potato (can’t remember name). Ordered quite a few sides and shared the main mussel and it was already quite filling for 2. Will definitely be back to try out their burger

What an underrated little restaurant! My friends and I stopped by on a week night and was pleasantly surprised that every dish hit the spot! And we’re a bunch of snobs who’ve eaten through the town 😂 But for real, we were very impressed by the octopus salad (very bright and appetizing), pig ears (perfectly crispy with a zesty dip), as well as the blue cheese Mac and cheese (they use casarecce pasta so +5 points). For mains, we dug into the 650g prime rib, cooked to perfection with lemon caper potatoes and the grilled fish burger which was super fresh and flavorful. We also killed the fries - seasoned generously with herbs. Desserts were alright; what can I say, the mains stole the show. Was disappointed that lobster wasn’t available that day but it’s the perfect excuse for a second visit. Service was top notch as well. We were waited on by a lovely lady who knew the menu like the back of her hand. Thanks for a great evening!

4.5*. Was brought to this restaurant by a friend who was ex-neighbours with the owner. Place is really cozy with impeccable service. We started our dinner with fried onion matchsticks.. I liked the dipping curry wurst sauce.. its kinda like McDonald's curry sauce! 🙃 followed by the artichokes heart. Ok we rarely eat artichokes so wasn't expecting much but it was fried well and doesn't have a smell..I know that if it's not cooked well, it has a unpleasant smell. Next was the garlic butter frog legs..it was good! Very flavorful, firm texture and the sauce was soooo good! I couldn't get enough of dipping the accompanying bread in the sauce! The bread was good too! Here comes the mains, I ordered the Bleu Burger which has the blue cheese w walnut & fruit bun.. never had this combo hence my pick. First 2 bites were great. Patty was juicy but after that I find the patty a little gamey.. not sure if it was becoz of the blue cheese or the beef. 2 friends had the portobello burger which I tried a little.. it tasted like cream of mushroom soup! 😅. Only 1 friend ordered the cod fish burger which I didn't tried (kinda stingy to share food!) Feedback was good. Since I do not have a sweet tooth but my other friends have, ordered a Cremè brulee. I had a very tiny bite but it was tooooo sweet for me so can't comment on that. Owner even gave complimentary kombucha he made! Great for "washing" away the grease! Worth checking out for a nice cozy dinner.

The Corner Grill served yummy dishes with my particular favourite being their lobster roll. We also ordered the Mac & Cheese for the kiddos which was served bubbling hot and went down very well with them - the cheese was greaaaat. Their steaks were grilled to tastiness and burgers came with a generous beef patty in between two very lovely buns. We will definitely be back for more!

Ordered the Mac and Cheese, Portobello Burger and the Seafood Pasta. Would highly recommend the Seafood Pasta (that we were told was not always on the menu), it had scallops, baby squid and 1 prawn. That was my favourite out of all the 3 dishes we ordered. Service was very good and friendly. There’s only 1 chef preparing each dish. So between the pasta and the burger it was about 15 mins. No tap/ filtered water. You have to pay for bottled still or sparkling water. Good portions. Our bill came up to about $100 for each person.

Came to this little corner to celebrate BFF’s birthday on a Friday evening. There was limited seats so advanced table reservation will be a safer bet. We started with the pig ears and Orion matchsticks. Pig ear is a great starter if one didn’t mind to try, but the Orion sticks was a little lacked down. For main courses, we got the lobster bisque shan mee, a hanger steak, a lobster roll and a beef burger (forgot about the name 😅). The shan mee was surprisingly great and the hanger steak was melt-in-the-month, so these two were highly recommended. The lobster roll was also great but it costed an additional $10 due to shortage in CNY period. Their burger were highly rated in reviews but guess it was the last dish served and we were already quite full then, it was good but not great. We ended the dinner with a brownie and pannacotta, which I would rate the pannacotta better but both were not exceptional good. Finally it was worth to mention that the staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive. Overall, I would rate the foods for 4+ but with the great friendly staff, it was a 5 with a great thanks.

The Corner Grill locates on Ann Siang Hill, close to the cross of South Bridge Road and Smith Street. The ambient is quite neat and relaxed, making it a perfect place for gathering with family, friends, or just a indulging meal for yourself - as my case today. The Australian ribeye steak is tender and juicy as it should be, while the blue cheese sause brings an extra layer of flavour. The chocolate desert is so nice - rich but not too sweet. Highly recommend!

I felt like each dish and side dish was created and prepared with thought and care. Really delicious steamed lobster, the pigs ears were fantastic, and I even enjoyed the digestif alongside a fine cheesecake. Nice cozy atmosphere. You will enjoy this meal.

this was a great dining experience, with good food and good service! though small, it was cosy and instagram-able. strongly recommend the pork chop! it was juicy and tender! the lobster bisque noodles were also sweet and fresh! lemon tart was the perfect combination of sweet and sour! everything was truly perfect! but be sure to make a reservation before going as the capacity is rather small!

This is going to be my new favourite restaurant! The server was fantastic. She told the time to go through the entire menu with us after finding out we were there for the first time, and made recommendations along the way. Had the Fish and Portobello Burger and they were to die for. Had a glass of kombucha on the house too with the purchase of the burger - omg I love it. Pity it’s not for sale! But the star of the show was definitely the Sticky Date Pudding - omg it stole my heart...... I can’t wait to be back! Thank you for the wonderful meal, cosy service and fantastic ambience!

I was really happy here. The staff who took care of me on 02.02.23 was so wonderful. Thanks to her, I had a happy evening. The bleu buger was also delicious.

Excellent food the bone in pork chop was very very juicy and well seasoned . The beef tenders was full of flavor, the claypot mussels v v good n the crispy pig ears were surprisingly v delicious. We also had the crispy broccoli, the portobello n the bleu burger.The side dishes were so tasty on their own. Portion size were big. REALLY Value for money and really seriously good food! Would go back again!

If we could give 6 stars we would!! Stunning experience - wait staff were so knowledgeable and strike the perfect balance of attentive and allowing you to enjoy the experience at your own pace. Menu was inspired!! The monk cheek poppers were so unique and delicious. Every item ordered was 10/10. We eat out a lot in Melbourne and this was right up there with the best we have locally. Must visit!!

Great food for great value! They have $29 set lunch for a starter and main. Interesting choice of starters such as their super well fried pig's ear. The recommended choice of mains are the lobster roll and the bleu burger! The brownies was also served warm and fuzzy with a thin layer of crust, to accompany the ice cream. Yum! We also ordered the mussels with seafood sauce to share. We loved the sauce! :P Will be back to try their fish burger and pork chop!

The grilled cod fish burger is awesome!!! I almost wanted to stand up & shout “omg it’s so delicious!”. Other food I tried which were great too - crispy pig ears, garlic butter frog leg, pork chop, steak, mac & cheese (so yummy!!). If I could give 10 stars, I would. I’m gonna go back again to try the lobster roll and the other burgers - I’m pretty confident these will be good too.

Dropped in because I was nearby and craving burgers and this place came up. The Bleu Burger was amazing. They even used raisin buns which tasted great even though I don’t usually like raisin bread. Dined with a party of five this evening. Fresh ingredients with every dish as palatable as it can gets. The Octopus salad is refreshing, highly recommended the Mussel bisque for starters. Mains we had the lamb chops which were cooked to perfection, even at medium it’s pinkish on the inside. The pork burgers was juicy. Service was excellent with the pace of each meals delivered at an opportune time. Compliment to Chef Collin and the Maître d Pat. Thank you.
