Reviews of The Kind Bowl
I had the Kind Pho - so good!
So happy that I chance upon this place, look so cozy and clean. Food was served fast and the staff look so dedicated to his job.
The pho soup is really flavorful, not too salty nor bland. Warm hearty soup, noodles doesn’t stick together. Generous serving of ingredients. Price is not the most affordable but is alright.
Really recommend this place!
Ordered crab noodle, spicy noodle and fried spring roll.
Crab noodles are lighter flavour, spicy noodles are similar to kway chap and fried spring rolls are like wu xiang.
Overall everything tasted awesome 😎
※※To Vegetarian : think I tasted garlic or shallots in my noodles! Please let them know if you do not take it
Cozy ambience where one could take time to enjoy the food. This wasn't our first choice but it turned out better than expected. Vietnamese crusine is enticing but vegetarian Vietnamese crusine?
Our interest piqued, we proceeded to try three differnt dishes - the Kind Pho, the Royal Spicy and the BBQ Delight. Verdict - the Kind Pho was as good as any normal pho, in fact, my friend who usually has a light apetite actually finished it up all, it was that good! The Royal Spicy has a zesty light taste, like tom yum but the spice level is not for the faint-hearted. The BBQ Delight was a cold noodle with lots of crushed peanuts and fried shallots, fried spring rolls and two sticks of bbq mushrooms. It combined well and was tasty but I missed the grilled pork/chicken (haha, still a carnivores at heart). Water, complimentary, was also served in big ceramic mugs and not some flimsy plastic cups. All in, we were happy with our meal. Do give this vegetarian outlet a try!
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time. One of the most expensive vegetarian style spring roll. 7.80 for 1 roll.
Disappointed ☹️
I was skeptical about how tasty vegan pho can be. Didn’t have much expectations.
We ordered the kind pho and royal spicy pho and had a satisfying lunch! I like how here are different combination and plant based meat , tofu , mushroom etc for texture variety. Soup is very comforting and flavourful . Def exceeded out expectations and will be back to try other dishes.
Recommend.
It's a tiny place but no table service even when there's no one except you at the restaurant. No card payments. No reminder for last order to guests before closing the kitchen. I went to the counter to order something more and they flatly refused only a few minutes after 8:30pm! A food-court like experience at best, although the food was delicious.
I feel this is one of the Current Best Vegetarian Pho I ever tried.
The soup is so flavourful and tasty.
The food is delicious and really good for a vegan spot. Prices were all right. Cosy place to share a quiet meal with a friend
Great chicken rice, salad, summer rolls and pho
Pricey food but pho is to die for
Incredible vegan experience
