Came here for their festive lunch buffet. Service is great, the staff were very attentive. Unfortunately we were there at the same time as a group of about 20-30 people (probably for a company meal), who were screaming and cheering really loudly at the end of their meal, being a disturbance. Food was pretty average, seems like the standard might have dropped from the previous time we were here. The sashimi did not look or taste fresh. The cheese/charcuterie section was pretty boring. We did enjoy certain meats though (lamb stew, roasted beef, beef brisket, methi lamb masala), a few pieces were drier than others, but mostly tender. Desserts were ok, particularly the cream brulee, durian cake, apple caramel crisp, pecan tart. Overall, the food was not worth the hefty price tag.

First time trying out The Line buffee at the Shangri-la Hotel. Dbs/Posb cards to receive a 20% discount which is great. Food selection is great but food quality is just above average. We like their environment and service too. Overall a four star for me.

We celebrated birthday at The Line and staff member New (under manager Brandon) provided us excellent service. Food spread was good and food tasted great. The take away birthday cake was a big plus. Enjoyed our lunch there.

We were truly impressed by the quick service in clearing our plates, refilling water, and the thoughtful surprise of a birthday cake to celebrate the occasion. A special mention to Alex and Hadifa for their attentiveness—Hadifa especially, who took the initiative to organize a family photo for us. Her kindness and warmth added such a memorable touch to our celebration! Thank Uuuu & also the Mgmt for keep their staff happy so they are willing to serve beyond!!!

The Line has a 50% discount for lunch from Monday to Wednesday in March 2024. Decided to check the buffettt out as have not been there for many years. Firstly, noticed that the range of food is as wide a before. You have the cold dishes, sashimi, salad, Western food, Asian food, noodle station, dessert and drinks station. The quality of the dishes are above average. My favorites are the snow crab legs, sashimi, the roasted beef and the dessert section. Coffee and tea are included in the buffet. Service here is efficient and people are friendly.

Standard has been consistent and high since I first tried their buffet more than 10 years ago. New in the menu this visit is the Burger. It’s worth the calories and a popular item. The ice cream is the best in this world. Must try the durian and Vanilla ice cream with waffle. Definitely the most worthwhile buffet in Singapore with quality. Auntie New is the service staff and deliver great proactive service. A wonderful experience once again.

Food served with great diversity and taste. Personally would like to recommend their braised oxtail, meat was tender and moist. The lobsters was live cut and fresh. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Angela, John, Jason. The chef de cuisine, chef Hong was friendly, visitted our table with foie gras!! Highly recommend.

The important thing is unlimited sashimi and Alaskan crab. Powerful buffets ain’t about having an encyclopedic selection that includes Martian eggs from mars and alien crab salad from Pluto, it’s about getting straight to the point...Is there sashimi? is there fat juicy sashimi? Is there Alaskan crab legs that are not skinny? Is there Happy local thirst quenchers like Teh Tarik (that is not tariked, DIY) Is there a crazy beautiful selection of dessert? Is there ridiculous flavors of ice cream like coconut sherbet and lychee gelato that is the color ton of lychee? Is there great Indian food ? I love the Indian food section! Is there pasta for the kids? Is there salad for the vegetarians? I want a Char Siew Bun, is there one? I need one, thanks. is the entire ocean there at the seafood section? Is there laksa is there prawn mee? Roast pork etc is there even more Indian food? The answer is yes, and if u like this spread, then this buffet is for u 😎

We again had an outstanding buffet lunch accompanied by long-standing Singapore friends. The range of seafood🦞🦐🦀🐟, Asian and western food choices were of very high standard and resulted in each of us being fully replete with the quality offerings. Had buffet dinner. Due to safe distancing measures, food was served to guests at their table. I liked this idea since we didn't have to walk around taking our food. There was a QR code at the table, just place your order online and they will bring the food to you. It was the second day of lunar new year so the restaurant was packed. But the service was good. Didn't have to wait too long for the food to be served. Food was delicious. We mainly ordered seafood and desserts. Had the seafood platter, which consisted of lobster, scallops, prawns, oysters, snow crab and mussels. Really liked the plant-based option – vitamins and carbs. Ordered vitamins a few times. Basically dark chocolate on a flambe pineapple. Loved the combination. Really interesting and refreshing after a full meal. There were a few CNY themed dishes / desserts. The CNY prosperity combo was cute! It was a dessert platter with CNY delights. Consisted of durian yuan bao, strawberry litchi, osmanthus jelly, mandarin chocolates and more.

Went the line on a sunday afternoon for brunch because heard their ratings not bad as got crab buffet. The gonggong i had was one of the best in whole of SG!!! Flavourful and very fresh. Its cooked in like a somewhat teriyaki sauce? But its not very salty and super addictive. The bass is not bad, but only managed to have 1 serving. Taste like putien’s steamed fish. Also, very fresh. The highlight is definitely the alaskan king crab legs!!!! Super juicy, chewy, meaty and fresh! I had so much servings i lost count how many legs i had. Because its steamed with no additional flavouring, i asked for vinegar. I think thats the best way to have the crabs. Gotta request for just the legs from the waitress because if you order from the menu they give you other stuff which is not worth so they a bit slimy need to special request.

Disappointed -Dim Sum only serves 包， no 虾饺， 烧买， 叉烧包。Western food - no roast beef. Seafood - no oyster. Only dessert has good variety. I love the durian cake and chocolate cake.

The Line Breakfast Review We were warmly greeted by Jamir as soon as he saw us coming down the escalator and seated at our son’s favorite sofa seating. Waiting time for food is minimal as our food arrived shortly upon placing order via the online menu which comes with pictures of the food which you will be getting - and it looks exactly the same so you won’t be disappointed at all. A must try would be the Laksa, Thosai, English Breakfast: Your choice of eggs, mushroom, tomatoes, bacon & harsh browns. And if you love milk teh, you should try their hand pulled teh tarik freshly made on the spot by a handsome young chap. It’s delightfully sweetened (not over empowering) and well-pulled with a tower of foam on top. And not forgetting lovely Auntie New, who is so passionate in her work, that she is so thankful for each day that she wakes up and for putting a smile on our faces with her genuine care and service while we had our breakfast there on January 9, 2021. I would say that every staff at Shangri La is a gemstone with their shining personality which makes dining or staying there a memorable one.

【2019.12.28】 During our stay in the Shangrila hotel Singapore, we enjoyed our breakfast at this restaurant. We prefer the outside seats to the inside ones, because we can feel fresh air outside, and it's little bit cold inside for its air conditioner. Sooooooo wide variety of food, and every food is prepared and cooked well. If you can go here earlier time before it's crowded, you can enjoy more comfortablly.

This is one buffet I always like to come. Nice environment and fantastic spread of quality food. Always the top choice for family brunch. There is even a family section, catered for children. Always managed to cater to the whole family (young to elderly) needs. Spoiled for choices for dessert lovers.

Highly recommended. Order the alcohol package for 35sgd and it's free flow. Good spread of Asian, Western food and nice desserts. Seatings are spacious and the ceiling is tall. Love it. No more alcohol package and oysters................ :( But there is a durian counter outside. Near the pool. Seasonal.

The buffet was Amazing Friendly and attentive restaurant staff... The Food was great and for the seafoods are all very fresh prepared. It was definitely worth the money. Was there for a friend's birthday celebration and surprised with a free birthday cake and also a free Polaroid photo taken for a long lasting memory. The spread was good but below expectations. The dishes might stir interest in tourists. The one of the two ladies who were serving our table seemed impatient, does not smile and made no eye contact when spoken to, throughout the time we were there. I came to this buffet with high expectation however I was disappointed. With the price I paid with my fiancé, we would expect the same standard of food from other hotels too. It was a weekend too, so we expected more since the price was around 90++ per person. There was no oysters on the fresh seafood section was one of the greatest disappointment. They didn’t had a salad bar too but just cold cut selections and some of the meat server was really blend and hardly any seasoning at all. The saving grace was the great service from the service staff and the dessert line. Really friendly and helpful!

A big shout out to Jason On, Wei Quan, Yee Loong, Kin Rong, Swee Chai (staffs who served us on 26/4 dinner buffet). Me and my friend decided to check out a buffet dinner at The Line as a birthday treat for my friend. We enjoy the wide food selection and the good atmosphere. Seafood selection is a lot and is fresh. Kudos to the service staffs that night! Will definitely recommend our family and friends to choose line restaurant as our gathering place.

Service is good. Food is nice and food dressing is great. Food serving time is very fast. Smoke chicken cobb salad, Butter chicken and sashimi are my favourite. Steamed seabass is nice and tender. I am quite happy that they serve cheese platter (with crackers) which I don't see anymore in hotel buffet menu after covid started. I get 250g cake for my birthday which I need to bring home as I couldn't eat anymore. Overall, I am quite happy with buffet lunch. Although a little pricy, I think it is worth spend. P. S.
