Collagen soup is recommended. The taste is rich and essence of chicken is well-infused into the broth. Vegetables are fresh and sweet. I feel that for $19, the collagen soup can do better with at least some ingredients in it. Condiments, the leek oil is flavourful. Nanbe chicken could do better with better frying of the batter. The dish tasted a little under fried and batter was soft. Staff used to be and could be more attentive. The broth was boiling away and they only adjusted the induction cooker upon request, twice. No one came to skim the floating fats off the soup or offer a sampling of it, which they used to do so. Also, there wasn’t any personal touch to make you feel welcome whatsoever. It was a you say I do approach.

Extremely excellent! Tsukada Nojo is a well known Japanese franchise for their beauty chicken collagen broth. We were there for lunch and found the value sets absolutely worth it. The portions are generous for the price. We tried both the Bijin Men ramen and the Bijin Chazuke rice set. As far as broths go, this Bijin is really hearty, you can literally feel the nourishment in your system as you eat. The ramen ingredients of grilled chicken, alfalfa, greens, seaweed and onsen egg are tasty, together with the smooth beauty noodles make a solid meal. The Chazuke rice set comes with a big tea pot of broth. Rice doused with karaage, is there anything better? I'm really excited to return to try the Bijin Nabe pot!

A pleasantly surprise find in the secluded Thomson Plaza. The famous bijin nabe that boost its reputation for their rich and thick chicken collagen soup broth. Spoiled for choices over the types of soup offerings (all soup base is all chicken collagen broth), diners can choose either set menu, ala carte single soup or dual soup bases. Perhaps this comprehensive menu planning have taken deep consideration for the local hotpot enthusiasts that will spark joy to anyone that enjoys a good and tasty hotpot. Lunch time on weekend are usually hectic, the constant test for service staff in their work are reflected in their abilities to ensure all customers are taken care of. Kudos to their amazing team for executing good service and management of food deliveries on table or takeaways seamlessly. As there were plentiful of selections, ala carte menu might compel diners to over order in their quest to fill their hunger pangs. Set Menu are recommended for anyone on their maiden visits as the assortment of ingredients provided for this lovely hotpot fondue is just right. It is also recommended to order the spicy mayo fried chicken while awaiting for the kitchen team to prepare your hotpot. Condiments are provided, diners are free to ask for more. Be sure to savour the chicken collagen soup broth once the soup is ready before any ingredients are placed into the hotpot. The rich and tasty soup broth served in teacups are superbly flavorful that nourishes diners (perhaps a teaser of a good meal). Overall, dinning experience were good, although the restaurant were busy during our visit (kudos to the service team), considering in this current Covid-19 world, good measures of social distancing were applied. A worthwhile visit away from the usual mainstream mala hotpot and probably a healthier option too. PS. Oh yes, chicken collagen broth top up are free on the first round.

Super tasty. Love the stock. Oh yes, if you like tomato-based soup and yet not too sweet version, you can request the use of only fresh tomato without ketchup. That's our favourite.

Service and good are good. Spicy Mayo chicken is tasty and has unique taste. Colleague’s soup is the same standard just that if the chicken inside is more tasty then it will be great. Some parts are a bit dry.

Food and service is excellent at the Thomson plaza. Love the karage so juicy and tender yet crispy. The noodle was so chewy and fulfilling. Love the meal. Will be back again.

Visited on May 13 - Mother’s Day so the restaurant is expectedly crowded. We booked in advanced so it took them rather fast to serve us. Collagen “enhancements” aside, it is pretty much your standard Chinese steamboat affair. I appreciate the choices of mushroom ingredients. The overall range ingredient is very generous. The choice of chilis is great. The meats felt fresh. The service is speedy and decent too. Not too much complains. It is definitely a safe restaurant for the entire family.

Around $30 per pax after GST. It’s like set menu. I think the soup base was very rich and delicious, but the set items were largely vegetables (with the only meat being the minced pork and chicken in the soup).

Nice food as usual! Delicious broth, protein and greens. What shocked me was the price though. They used to have a set meal for two which would set me back by $65 if memory serves me right. Unfortunately, that’s now gone and a la carte costs about $85 for a dinner for two. The big jump in price will make this a more occasional dinner location. The upside is that the higher prices has driven away all the crowds so no more queues at the restaurant!

Service recovery is very important and you guys did it well by replying to reviews* The service was bad. Maybe shortage of manpower. The collagen soup was not fantastic and you are only allowed to top up once. The add on ingredients are pricey and their combo set are not impressive. This will be my first and last time to dine in there.

Attentive and responsive staff in spite of the dinner crowd on a weekend. Went beyond to check in on my boy after he accidentally touched the hotpot.. also gave him a plate of jellies to cheer him up! Tasty food, ordered set, $25 per pax. Food wasn’t enough for 2 so we added on the 16 grained rice. It was just nice. Big eater may need to top up a few dishes of meats. We love the chicken and soup. The rest of the ingredients are just ordinary vegetables. For a $70 bill, we actually expect more food.

Staff are great and very professional. This used to be my favourite hot pot place due to its rich flavorful soup in their very first outlet in Plaza Sin. However, it seems like after they have expanded, their soup is loaded with MSG as I'm allergic to it.

I only came to this branch because there is no queue. Even though they limit each table to 90 mins, there are enough time to eat slowly. I love it so much that I visited on average once a week for few months. I always choose the porriage instead of noodle. The steam boat if fresh n standard is as good. The unagi fried rice is not up to standard. Service standard has drop and the usual jelly delights to kids was not provided. Now only chop on the card. Maybe cutting cost.
