Dined at this restaurant for a gathering of three and appreciated that they offer individual hotpot options. There was a wide selection of soup bases, though there were small additional charges here and there. The food was generally good, but it didn’t have the same "wow" factor as when I first visited 3 years ago. The only downside was the staff member we asked to take a photo. He adjusted the camera settings extensively, giving the impression that he was skilled. Unfortunately, the photo turned out poorly—elongated (making everyone look wider), with objects on one side and the other side completely empty. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable gathering.

Love the service by Wei Wei, Andy and Jeff Tu all were very friendly and accommodating! Love this place as its nearby connected to Tanjong Pagar mrt plus its clean and spacious. The pricing is also affordable too like the set B for two pax was just around 65.99++ with quality meat included with fish and prawns, beef and pork! oh they have a lot of sauces and condiments to choose from..Must try the prawn broth and bak kut teh soup! thanks again !

Too hot, aircon not strong enough. Too noisy. Jeff service is exceptionally good. Smiling with a mask on. Thumbs up! The rest of service crew need some smile on their face. One gal even dropped receipt on my food.

Portion given was generous but soup was diluted. It got better during the second half of our meal though, as the server asked us if we wanted a thicker soup and gave us the paste for the it. The servers here are also more laissez-faire and it's good, if you're the type who doesn't need servers to check in on you often. We reached just after opening time and were the first customers. It was very chill and quiet, which was great.

Love how fresh the meat are and their very worth value set meal 🥘. It’s very affordable and very filling though. I feel their soup bases are good & they have individual pot for everyone! Hygienic! Even if u want to share of course it’s possible too. They have free flow sauces n sides too! Yeah 👍🏻 Good for gatherings and very affordable ! $70 for 2 pax lunch & super full & yummy streamboat! Ms. Wei Wei, a true gem and a smiling sunshine at the City Hotpot Tanjong Pagar, deserves the highest praise. Her warm hospitality shines through even beneath her mask, lighting up the dining experience with her genuine smile. Despite her petite frame, she effortlessly serves with speed and efficiency. Her quick service and attentive care make each lunch session a delightful affair. We eagerly anticipate our next visit, knowing that Ms. Wei Wei's warm welcome and excellent service will continue to make our dining experience truly special.

The sets are surprisingly very filling even for my teenager son who eats alot. Food quality is good , soup base is nice too. Free flow sauce and fruits with the set meal. Will surely be back again.

Hola! We're super happy with your service and guidance. We came a week ago and planned to tried something new as we've all from New York. And we was guided by a polite man named Jay. He came all over from kitchen just to guide us since we was sitting and didn't know what's written in the menu and we didn't know how to cook it and have it. He served the food for us personally and guided us to cook it and served us some sauces to dip with the meat. Food, overall everything is good and fresh! We recommend the Milk Fish Soup, it really fits our taste! We truly appreciate your kind service and will visit again if we're back to Singapore. Thank you !

Went on a Wednesday evening. Ordered set for two and additional mantou. Place is almost filled (90%) Atmosphere: Tables a little too close. Service. Nice service. Staff were helpful and refilled the soup without us asking and waiting. Food. Its individual pot, good during this period. Food- impressively very fresh.

First time there. Their menu was helpful especially if you come in as a group. They also offer split payment. The fresh stuff was good while I was less keen for the dumpling/stuffed tofu. We ordered a set for 4 pax. The bill was 36 SGD each. Not bad for the amount of food you got.

Lovely set up!!! Gone and try since my friend told me about this brand of hot pot… good service and food portion is good . Individual pot and you can eat whatever needed and not over order. No advisable to go to this outlet as the aircon is week and I nearly faint … go the others to have a better experience

Well taken care by Wei Wei and a male staff. They look out for what I need and offer me drinks even before being asked to. Definitely will be back here again for Wei Wei. The restaurant also is vegetarian friendly.

Great experience. Ingredients and meat were fresh. Plenty of soup choices. Mala was delicious, but tomato not as nice as elsewhere. Perfect if you want to enjoy hotpot in smaller group/alone.

Premium hot pot restaurant, offering well presented fresh ingredients and individual hot pot stoves for diners. Each diner can then choose a single soup base, or two soup bases for a little extra. What seems popular (and recommended by wait staff) are packages that offer better value for money than ordering by the individual dish, and they allow you to swap individual items if you don't like particular items in the package. The stock bases were excellent, in particular the prawn stock was very flavourful and very satisfying when used with ingredients that soaked up the soup. The mala had quite a decent spice level giving a good hit. To compliment this, there's a sauce, condiments and small snack station that you can help yourself to.

Decided to try this place to avoid crowded Orchard/City Hall area. Restaurant got more crowded after 7pm but it was not rowdy or very packed. They have more than 10 soup bases and the pots are individually served so no need to worry about sharing pot if you are concerned about it. We ordered a set menu for 4 pax and it was just nice for 4 ladies with average appetite. Impressed by the freshness of the seafood and meats. Soup base was not bad and don’t taste like they put in MSG etc (we didn’t feel thirsty). 4 of us all had a two flavour pot and ordered 4 alcoholic drinks. Total we spent about $48 per pax. They don’t have the condiment bar like Haidilao but basic sauces etc is actually good enough for people like us who don’t need so much condiments.

Amazing experience, the beef was very worth it especially with the UOB 1 for 1 discount, but also all the ingredients were fresh. Had the mala and herbal fish soup. Put the fried stuff in the mala, and all the long to cook items in the herbal soup, soaking up all the goodness. Staff was friendly and the ordering process was also quite smooth. Single set cost about $22.99 to $30.99. Certain soup base need to top up. But overall, food wise is okay. However, some improvement is needed. Waiting time - reserve a seat of 8 pax for 730pm. We waited almost 1 hour to be seated, which defeat the purpose of making reservation. Cleanliness - utensils given was not properly washed (refer to the tissue pic after wiping). For a restaurant in CBD area, this standard of cleanliness is unacceptable.

A few weeks back, I had a really unique hotpot dining experience with my family at City Hot Pot! They use individual hot pots compared to the usual communal ones, but we still got to dine together ☺️ I was so impressed with the soup bases they had. They had 14 choices - fish, tomato, prawn, bak kut teh, laksa, tom yum, mala, herbal chicken, kimchi and many more 🍅 If you’re too spoiled for choices, you can even order a half half like we did. My 2 favourites were the prawn & tomato soup! We got Set E which comprised of wagyu, pork, chicken, lamb, fish and prawns, plus a lot of other fresh, top grade ingredients ☺️ It was very value for money and so convenient to order. They also have a condiment station that has lots of sauces. Find their newest outlet at Guoco Tower, which is the mall located right outside Tanjong Pagar MRT.

I like this hot pot chain as the we have our individual pots, we can choose our own soup base too. There is also a different types of soups you could choose from, ranging from chicken to beef and seafood as well. All sets comes with standard vegetables and some mushrooms, so it's very balanced meal with proteins and greens. You don't have to pay extra for the sauces, although it is quite standard. We enjoyed our dinner. They take bookings via the Quandoo app. I do recommend that as the restaurant get busy comes dinner time.

City Hot Pot offers affordable lunch sets which comes with your choice of meat, a basket of veggies, corn, yam, mushrooms and the option to choose 2 personal soup base. I chose the pork collar and it was very tender. The soup was also very tasty.

Food and soup is amazing. Had the set meal for 4 pax but can easily be shared with 5 to 6 people (depending on how much they can eat) Service could be better though as our orders/requests were often forgotten. We were also not done with our meals when the off-ed the main electricity so our stoves were switch off when the food is not cleared yet - this was done without informing us. But they were not rude or nasty just not paying enough attention which is still reasonable. So I'll definitely visit again!!
