E. C.Bak kut teh was reasonably priced with generous servings of meat. Soup was peppery type but could be a bit more flavourful. Pig trotters meat was a little tough and could be more stronger in taste too, but generous in servings as well.
You tiao was awesome, we had 2 big servings ($2.80 each).
Fish tail was quite good too but a little bland in taste too.
Overall good value for money.
S. Q.Highly recommended BKT…. And not just the BKT is delectable…. They have a wide variety of dishes and sides to choose from…. Have added a number of my fav in this post… my all-time fav kidney soup, braised pork knuckle, 虾枣, youtiao, dry version of liver-kidney, pigtail, pig stomach, thinly sliced pork, and steamed fish in teochew or black bean paste…😋

C. C.I recently tried Yen bak kut teh at and it was a delightful experience. The broth was rich and aromatic, infused with a perfect balance of spices. The tender pork ribs fell off the bone, soaking up the flavorful soup. The side dishes, like fried you tiao and braised pork leg, complemented the meal beautifully. The fresh teo chew steam fish is also a must try. Overall, it’s a must-try for anyone craving authentic peppery bak kut teh flavors!
