August 2024 Review: - The ramen was not very good, the broth was very “watery” with not much taste, the noodle very basic 🫠 - The salmon don is ok but taste just like any random “Food court” Japanese dish 🤷🏻 We paid 40$ for those + 1 small dish I am not really recommending this place

Black king ramen is value for money. The meat slices are thick, and the broth is satisfying. Will consider coming back to try other flavours.

First visit here. It was a good dining experience. Definitely worth trying. Scan QR code to order was seamless. Overall the food were nice but the portion of fries quite sad. I would visit again on a Friday to try the sake.

The good: Simple cosy atmosphere, music is ok, not too loud. Food came piping hot and is generally nice. Point deducted because was expecting a can of Ayataka (per menu pic for Ramen value set), but the service staff poured it out into a cup that is half or slightly more than half filled with ice. Whatever happened to my other half or remaining can of tea? This kind of "cost savings" is quite low, to be honest.. Do it like some other decent Japanese restaurants. Offer the cup with ice AND the can of tea.

Chanced upon this place on Entertainer as there’s 1 for 1 promo on the app - we had unagi don and black king ramen :) There’s also happy hour (before 8pm) and beer’s only $10!

Holy grail of 'i want some ramen without putting a hole in my pocket'. This place is my go-to for that comforting ramen soup and nicely charred chashu. Comes in regular, garlicky, and spicy - I would usually go for the latter two. They also serve curry and donburi, both worth having as well.

Cool, delicious food 🤤 there is a separate air-conditioned room but I "prefer the wind to the air" so I sat outside in the cool breeze. This will probably be the last meal at this restaurant this year because I'm about to return home. I'll come back next time when I come back to Singapore. Must try!!!!
