A. Q.There are a total of FIVE stalls selling Fishball noodles in this FC. This for me, the 2nd best.
Uncle used to work for Jln Tua Kong at Simpang Bedok.
His noodles can be on the saltier side, so ask for less chilli if you want it less salty. Today's noodles were a tad too soft for my liking. And a bit sticky too.
Ingredients were ok. A decent bowl of $3.50 noodles if you are in the vicinity.
J. T.I was planning to go to Ah Kiat wantan mee stall, but it was closed. I saw a long queue forming outside this stall and decided to give it a go. I ordered dry mee pok for $4. It tastes delicious. The pork lard was crunchy and crispy. The pork balls were very nice, and next time, I would order a separate bowl of pork ball soup. This is a simple dish, but with quality ingredients. The soup is brewed with ikan bilis and soya bean, and there's no MSG. Highly recommend if you are around this area. It's about a 15-minute walk from Bedok MRT station.
T.Reasonably good taste Mee Pok & Laksa for $3.50 each!
The Laksa even comes with 2 prawns and some cockles added to bring out the overall taste of Laksa.
Equally tasty is the bowl of dry noodles too!
Verdict :- Value for money, comfort food!
