Reviews of You Peng Noodle Dumpling House (La Mian Jiao Zi Guan 拉面饺子馆)
A plethora of items on their menu and we were spoilt for choice. Got the chives guo tie to share, and it was really good! Juicy and filling, will recommend checking them out. They also sell frozen items that you can take away to cook at home, which is really great. Can’t wait to go back and try the dumplings and other dishes next time :)
Enjoyed the size of the Chao shou, thé marinate is leaning on the sweet side . XLB was good for it’s price
The best xiao long bao I had ever tried - tender meat with fresh bursting soup juice wrapped in a thin layer of skin. One bite of xiao long bao It cost 9 SGD for 10 xiao long bao which I found it reasonable and affordable. Any xiao long bao lover should give it go!
I had also tried guotie (pan fried dumpling) and found the skin of the dumpling too thick and fillings were small.
Tried the guotie after seeing good reviews. Found the skin is too thick, filling is also not juicy although taste is OK. Also the dumplings are smaller than average. Price is $8 for 10 pcs. Have had much better guotie from Alexandra Village. Would not be back.
Gives a spicy kick in the lips, but gentle on the stomach. Both spring onions and parsley are always fresh. Always a satisfying visit.
Tried the standard xlb and the “local” bah kut teh style xlb. Both are good though not on the top of my list. But I must say that the bah kut teh one really tastes like the real thing. I’m impressed that they can come up with a localisation of a Shanghainese dish.
XLB although was small but is delicious
A bit expensive as the price has increase again
10 pcs for 8 dollar
Skin is smooth & thin with soupy juicy meaty in it
Good affordable dumplings at non-restaurant prices. Can tell they put in a lot of effort into making the dumplings. I enjoyed #12 spicy wantons
I tried both the steamed and fried dumplings. I highly recommend the pan fried dumplings as they are so juicy. The shop also sell frozen dumplings at $30.50 for 50 dumplings.
Solid XLB, not the best I’ve had but this was relatively inexpensive ($7.50 for 10) so I definitely recommend them.
Always a comfort food after returning from overseas trips; simply amongst the “best” dumplings, after having tasted Din Tai Fung @ Taipei101!👍🏻😋
Quick fix for Xiao long Bao crave without needing to go to town
Very authentic xiao long bao.
The best dumpling I have had in Singapore !
Decent dumplings. The skin is too sticky for my liking.
The fried dumpling is very juicy and good
Best xlb in Singapore!
Best dumplings ever!
Awesome Dumpling!
