After eating at Tampines One, I couldn't forget ZL so today I went to BM outlet to try. The Mala classic soup base is not as thick as the Tamp One's. And I felt thirsty after eating here. Service wise, Tamp is more friendly. Here I asked the young female cashier if they have serving tray for my soup and rice, she flatly said no and then turned her back to me. So hard to carry the big soup bowl and the bowl of rice without a tray. Space wise this outlet has a lot of seats but for two pax most likely have to share table as most are 4-seaters.

I recently visited ZHANGLIANG Malatang at Bedok Mall and decided to try the option with mushroom soup. Overall, my experience was quite satisfactory, but there are a few points worth noting. First, I was impressed by the variety of choices available. From a range of ingredients to customize your bowl, there’s something for everyone. The option to choose from is the part of the process. However, I did notice that the soup had a notable taste of MSG. While I personally can tolerate it, those who are sensitive or allergic to MSG should be cautious when ordering. It's always best to inform the staff about any dietary restrictions and see if they can leave that out. The only problem with this outlet is that finding a table can be difficult at meal times and you have to stake out a spot like when in a foodcourt if you want a place. In summary, if you're looking for a place with diverse options in Bedok Mall, ZHANGLIANG is worth a visit. Just be mindful of the msg in the soup if you have any allergies or sensitivities and the crowds at peak hours.

Had a great experience at Zhang Liang Mala Tang @ Bedok Mall. The mala soup base was flavorful and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend giving it a try for yourself!

Second visit, was having the crave but I’m not a true Mala fan. Just love their hot tomato soup. Reason for 3 stars for service is, I just realized they shortchanged my food items. My first ever encounter, was already digging right into it and noticed my slice fish which I had took like 5-6 slice only was served 1 slice, my cheese tokpokki which I took 5pcs, only had like 2pcs. Lotus slice I took 5pcs, only got served 3slice. My next visit, I shall video record every items I take. This is serious! Guys, please be aware. The money paid is not worth if they are trying to shortchange you out.

Don’t miss this Zhangliang Malatang restaurant, which is spacious and clean, and the dishes are fresh! Went to eat with friends! Spicy hotpot and rattan pepper spicy mix! The taste is really amazing! ! ! The service is also very enthusiastic! highly recommended! ! !
