S. M. D.My marks went from straight U to grade 3 for math in N level, from U to grade 4 for my science.The teachers were very helpful and caring as they took time to help me go through things I was unsure about.
L. L.I joined Jasmine’s chemistry class just before the common test in JC2, and my grades improved a bit from each exams. In the end, my chemistry grade improved from S to B in the A level. I really appreciate Jasmine’s coaching. She would summarize the important concepts, types of questions and ways to solve the problems for each topic, which enabled me to focus on the key points and understand the topics quickly. I don’t need to go through the thick notes from school and try to find out which concepts are going to be tested anymore, it really gave me a clear direction to learn and saved me a lot of time. Jasmine also collected all types of questions that were highly likely to be tested and trained us to answer them. She explained everything clearly and accompanied us all the way until A level, she really helped me a lot in chemistry! Thank you Jasmine!!
V. S.Even though Advo is extremely far from my place, it is worth the distance as I am seeing a drastic improvement in my confidence, in both chemistry and physics. My teachers, both coach Jasmine and coach Gary are extremely approachable and I am free to clarify my doubts anytime. My biggest takeaway is the fact that I sharpened my skills in my weaker chapters, like Mole concept for Chemistry, and electromagnetic induction in physics. Overall 10/10 for advo, keep up the great work!
k.I joined ADVO in june for the revision hackathon for Physics and Chemistry. This course helped me improve on my problem-solving process, and also taught me earned the methods to memorise and understand concepts to get my A1 with the help of the OPCM. I would like to thank teachers Gary and Jasmine for being extremely friendly and passionate Pure Science teachers!
L. T.ADVO is the game changer for both myself as a parent and my daughter. The most difficult challenge for any parent is to provide the right environment for learning; not just for the A1 but more importantly to nurture the right mindset for life. My daughter excels in language-based subjects but struggles with math. I have sent her to some popular tuition centers which provide good material but she always seems to be confused and as a result unmotivated and resigned to doing badly in math. Yew Kiin is able to ignite Chloe’s interest in math and her internal drive to learn. She is always looking forward to attending ADVO even when they end late at 930pm. She is always happy and smiling after class which is a sure sign that she is in the right place. Thank you Yew Kiin!

T. T.The coaches at Advo are knowledgeable and passionate. They never leave any student behind, and regularly check in with each student to ensure that he/she masters the content well. The approach in handling each student is also tailored according to the student's mastery of the subject as well as his/her personality. The kind and understanding coaches make sure to take time to get to know each student well.
A key feature is the OPCM (one page concept map). These summarize each topic succinctly so that the students are able to better plan their revision and manage their time efficiently. The OPCMs are especially useful during the last few weeks/months before the A Levels, since students can quickly recap any concepts they are weak in.
I was a student who joined Advo's H2 Chemistry for roughly 9 months. With Advo coach Jasmine's help and unwavering support, I managed to improve my Chemistry grades from E to my desired A!
As Jasmine says, A for Chemistry is easy!
Saying that Jasmine is a wonderful coach would be an understatement. The fact that she quickly responds to any questions a student messages her about, even if she receives the messages on her off days, is testament to how dedicated and committed she is when it comes to being entrusted with and responsible for her students' grades. Jasmine might even follow up with sharing interesting/novel/challenging questions that she receives from her students with the rest of the class, allowing all her students to be exposed to atypical questions that they might face in their exams. Jasmine thus provides her students with a competitive edge over their peers, allowing Advo's students to perform well academically and be within the top percentiles. Needless to say, Jasmine is a highly experienced tutor who has taught Chemistry for many years. This makes her an overly suitable and qualified candidate to alert students to the topics and concepts they should focus their time and efforts on. I believe this is a primary reason why Jasmine is able to consistently take in students who fail or borderline pass their Chemistry school exams and aid them in transforming the S/E grades into their desired ones.
For the more concerned, the weekly homework is manageable, since it is mostly just MCQs to check on your understanding of the content. Occasionally there are small tests and attractive prices are awarded to the top scorer(s). Because of the vast inventory of questions sourced from exam papers of top schools, students are presented with many opportunities to revise and challenge themselves. This progressively prepares students to tackle the actual A Levels with confidence and without any more fear.
I would also like to shout out to all the admin staff who are just very supportive and professional, always rendering timely assistance when necessary.
Y.What stood out about Advo for me was their welcoming and friendly atmosphere, which gives me the mental strength to study hard. Advo is also able to instil the value of perseverance and teach students that nothing is impossible once you put your mind to it. Coach Jasmine has greatly helped me in Chemistry by summarising entire topics into A4-sized papers, making concepts easier to remember. Her passion for Chemistry and teaching shine through during Chemistry lessons which makes them highly effective and enjoyable.
J. H.I really enjoyed the lessons I had with Advo especially with Coach Jasmine who helped me a lot with my H2 chemistry during my jc2 year. She was always very cheerful which made me look forward to having classes with her. The practice papers also helped me alot in time management and having wider scope on the different types and styles of questions. The notes were very very consise. Overall, I'm really glad I came to Advo during my jc2 year for chemistry tuition!!
A. D.At first when I started learning Additional mathematics, my grades were horrible and I was not interested in the subject.
But after entering Advo, my grades started to improve, as the ideas that weren’t clarified in school were clarified by the tutor there. I was also exposed to different methods of solving a problem, which made things much easier. And as I improved, my interest in the subject grew too, due to the encouragement of my tutor and the way he taught us, which was fun.
G. T.I would highly recommend Advo to all struggling JC students! Jasmine is a very caring, motherly and dedicated tutor who helped to rekindle my love of chemistry in JC. She explains concepts very well and succinctly, and her well-set questions helped to tease out misconceptions I did not know I had. The mocks we had also prepared me for the actual examination day, and the stricter marking and detailed going through of the paper also made me feel much more at ease on the actual day. I felt very comfortable seeking any clarifications or extra practice with her, and unlike many other tuition centres, I really felt her concern for me, not just in wanting me to do well for A levels but wanting the best for me in general. We still keep in touch and meet up to this day, though I have graduated! Life lessons Advo taught me, like not 'trying' things but 'doing' them, also stuck with me, though the A's are now behind me. I ended up getting an A for Chemistry and decided to pursue Chemistry further as my major in NTU. Thanks Jasmine and thanks Advo!

k.I enrolled in JC chemistry tuition at advo. My chemistry used to be a 'C', and I was weak in my fundamentals, especially organic chemistry. The tutor, Jasmine, answers questions all the time and is very knowledgeable. What I found most useful was that she 'forced' me to study through my basics, and that really pulled up my grades and renewed my confidence in Chemistry. I'm happy to say that she played a vital role in my achieving an 'A' for Chemistry in the A levels.
V. A.I was a Advo student for 5 years and it’s one of the best times of my student life! They made me fall in love with mathematics which wasn’t my strength at that point of time. J.Coach Sherina is qualified and experienced. By knowing what to focus on in exams and having a keen eye for her students’ strengths and weaknesses, she is able to guide them to study more efficiently. She is bilingual in English and Chinese so she can use English to explain Chinese and hence help her students understand better.
She keeps me updated on the approach and progress of my son. It is also easy to communicate with her and ask her questions.

C.Firstly,a big thank you to Coach Dennis and Hafiz.I would recommend Advo because they are really caring and would always find ways to help students no matter the problem these guys are really good in their craft allowing them to handle many situations like teaching how to study smart and the OPCM,and are excellent Guidelines on how to do the topic well, not only are they good at teaching but making students happy.
After attending lessons there it’s really great allowed me to know my concepts much easily scoring Aces was much easier till I came to advo where I started to excel.I am a Na student for myself,but it did not discouraged me by the fact that I would never be successful,but my coaches worked hard and proud to be successfully transferred to express! This is a must for students struggling with their subjects!

W. X.Teacher Sherina is very sincere and I can feel that she genuinely wants the child to improve their Chinese. She uses a friendly and easy to understand approach to help the kid understand, relate and uses clues/hints in the sentence to help them find the ans. O. H.I would high recommend ADVO because Zenn (My Teacher) is unlike any other teacher I have had before. He creates this bond with his students that makes it feel like you are communicating with a friend which makes you feel less shy about conversing any problems you are having whether it is academic or personal. All of this is done while staying professional of course. What this does is that it generally makes me actually feel happy about going to class and learning how to solve questions and that in turn leads to me retaining the information more accurately. I personally went from about a C6 to an A2 in less than a year and I could not thank Zenn enough for the huge role he played in my results.
j.It was a great experience and I highly recommend this tuition centre for anyone struggling with their O'Levels or exams in general. Personally, I was struggling with A-Maths since sec 3 scoring F9s and E8s only. Until I decided to enroll at the last minute when O'Levels were in less than 3 weeks. Eventually I had scored a C5 and finally passed A-Math for the first time! The teachers are also really friendly and are always willing to help with topics I struggled with in a quick and effective way. My only regret was not signing up earlier than a few weeks before O'Levels. Thank you Advo!

a.i highly recommend this tuition centre. the coaches are really kind and patient when it comes to teaching. they are also very approachable when the students are in doubt and will take the time to explain any questions or problems. their teaching methods are also effective as i managed to improve my grades quite significantly than compared to what they were before i enrolled here.
S. J.The GP teacher at Advo, Mr Leon Ong, is not only engaging but also knows how to cater to each student’s needs. Despite the difficulties of the COVID situation, he can identify the areas to improve on for students through online platforms and is dedicated to provide extensive feedback on the assignments submitted by each student. In this way, his students can clearly understand how to improve themselves and clarify their doubts asap as Mr Ong is always quick to respond.
R.I like the positive mindset Coach Justin instils in my child and how it encourages her to learn when she used to show resistance in the chinese subject. As a result, we have seen improvement in her results.
We also appreciate that he maintains good communication with us, parents, on the approach and progress.
K. P. T.A shout out to Teacher Sherina. My son was impressed with the methodology adopted in learning Chinese during her sharing session that he requested to join her Chinese class. Even though he joined only in May 2021 and his scores were borderline. He gradually made progress up the ALs through to PSLE. I strongly believe that the method works and it helps kids appreciate Chinese more than just pure memorising. Thank you Teacher Sherina for your guidance and patience with him!

s.before mr dennis taught i was not very strong in my science but now after 8 months i scored A1 in my recent exam. So like he very good teacher. And the other teachers in the centre are also really nice. :D

莫.ADVO is a place full of family warmth. You are very lucky to study here. The teachers here are very enthusiastic and will rack their brains and stay up all night to help you improve your grades. ADVO is really an institution worth coming to. The teachers here are not only funny but also have extremely high teaching standards. Here you don’t have to feel embarrassed because of the language barrier, the teachers will teach you carefully and try their best. Even if your test scores are very unsatisfactory, they will still explain the mistakes in the test paper to you in a soft voice. When you feel confused, they will erase the darkness ahead for you, like a bright light, illuminating your way forward. Like a lighthouse in the sea, it guides you and won't let you lose your way. ADVO is a huge family, you can share your happiness and sadness with them, and you can also feel the care from them. Choosing ADVO is equivalent to paving the way to success. Just move forward bravely, and they will escort you and help you reach the other side of success smoothly. ADVO will never be an institution you regret, because it deserves your trust.
