I started off my piano journey in Singapore with many changes along the way. I had multiple piano teachers but still couldn’t find the teacher that understands and patiently teaches me. However, when I began learning with teacher Midorie then teacher Laurence, I felt like I had finally found two great teachers that truly took the time to teach what the music is about, not just treating the music as a piece of paper and plainly memorizing. I am currently learning with teacher Laurence and I am extremely grateful for the countless things he has taught me. Thank you to teacher Midorie and teacher Laurence, they are incredible mentors in both music and in life!

My daughter was taught by Miss Lee who corrected her mistakes and habits developed from another music school. Miss Lee had been a firm teacher who helped to build my daughter’s musical foundation. Teacher Hazel who taught my daughter subsequently was very encouraging and guided my daughter through the grade 5 exam and she passed with distinction. I am grateful to both teachers and would highly recommend AMS and their teachers.

Teacher Jia Min is a patient and friendly teacher. My daughter Ying Yan has been learning from her for the past 2years plus. She is usually all smiles before and after her lesson. I’m happy to know that she enjoys her classes and definitely looking forward to her continuous improvement. :)

Brought our kids (4 & 6) to the Music Workshop to introduce them to music and we had a great experience there! The teacher was very engaging and our kids who were shy at first had a lot of fun by the end of the session. Learnt some basic tunes stuff about music for total beginners and got to bring home some music crafts as well. Great!

My daughter Amber was very fortunate to have met Teacher Laurence and Teacher Midorie at exactly 348 days ago. Back then, we were in search for a piano academy which would help my daughter to gain a good understanding of musical concepts and to lay a strong music foundation for her music aspiration ahead. Artists Music Studio is exactly tailored for that. Specifically, this includes the development of strong sight singing skills (using solfege, hand signs) and aural drills (rhythms, pitches), familiarization of different scales & piano techniques as well as maintaining a perfect piano posture. Additionally, Artists Music Studio has redefined how its students learn and experience music by conducting 2 concert performances annually. This is extremely helpful as it provides students with opportunities for music performance – which in turn instill the love and appreciation for music. Thanks to Artists Music Studio: my daughter’s music learning journey has been fun and enjoyable thus far!

Laurence is my piano teacher in Singapore and his wife Midorie is my son’s piano teacher. Both of them are very encouraging teachers and have passion and patience in music teaching for adults and children. Laurence has taught me how to listen to my own playing, control of my fingers, shapes of my hands and pinpoint my mistakes at class so I can continue to reach my goal of playing advanced level pieces like Chopin Nocturne and Mozart Sonata. I have learned a lot of new techniques including music understanding, chord analysis and how to practice at different speed, at different section, how to do slow practice, how to recite pieces etc For my child - teacher Midorie let me accompany my son’s learnings and to observe what he learns and show us how to practice at home. They have designed a curriculum which doesn’t only about playing the piano but learning the basics (rhythm, notes and singing) which are all fundamentally important to our life-long musical journeys. Grateful to have both unique and passionate teachers 😊

Highly recommended to our teacher Laurence who taught Kasch! My son had improve alot on his scales, reading skills and technic on playing. Teacher Laurance is very passionate and patient towards children. Sadly, we stop due to my personal commitment. i hope that Kasch will be coming back next time! Once again a big thank you to Teacher Laurence & Ms. Midore for being talented and Kind . We are a family from HK and very fortunate to have Laurence (also HKer) who is an enthusiastic, passionate and professional teacher teaching my girl currently. My girl struggled with several piano teachers after we moved here, however Laurence is so patient and managed to encourage and brought my girl's interest back. His methods ensure she is learning how to become an all-round musician instead of learning pieces only which is difficult to progress. So glad to see my girl progress confidently on her musical journey. Apart from that, Laurence is more than a piano teacher, he is great with music related advice and provided information on music/ instrumental learning for my children too. I would definitely recommend to any of you who want your child to learn from the best. We are a family from Hong Kong. After moving here, our daughter found several teachers that were not suitable. Fortunately, she found Laurence (who is also from Hong Kong). He is a very enthusiastic, patient and professional teacher. His encouragement helped my daughter regain her interest, and I was very touched to see her confident progress. In addition, Laurence also answered our children’s questions about music/instrument learning and provided advice and information. Definitely recommended to all parents who want their children to be inspired on their musical journey.

The love can't forget! Teacher Laurence, Thank you! Moses & I want to express our sincere gratitude for all the efforts you have taken since 2018 when Moses was 7. In last 4 years, Moses achieved different milestones on competitions and ABRSM exam with unbelievable wonderful results, we believed Teacher Laurence not only helped him , encouraged him and motivated him in getting good scores, also he’s keen to develop passion on music and a love for music. Thanks to Teacher Laurence for his painstaking teaching of Moses over the past 4 years, from a little little finger playing obediently to a young boy playing wildly with full determination. As an observer, my mother is grateful to the teacher for never giving up.
